In this case for pictacular, were going to discuss one of the many issues that occur and is the main resource from all the conflicts that have happened from road accidents. The issue i wanted to discuss was texting and driving. Has it ever occured to u how dangerous texting and driving is on the road all over KC? Maybe you've heard about it but know very little and don't realize the conflicts that occur because of this pictacular problem.

Every day there are many that are killed from texting and driving. So many people get injured or even killed because of texting and driving. Several people are addicted to their phones, especially teens. Teens are obsessed with their phones, they are always waiting for some to text them back. Texting and driving is a distraction that everyone should avoid because it can result in injury or death to oneself or others. This may result in property damage, and the probability for one to receive legal consequences.

Your life or someone else's life can change dramatically while driving just because someone was on their phone. Texting and driving is a real issue in our country and outside of spreading awareness or creating ineffective distracted driving laws. no one has really tried to solve this problem. Texting and driving is a problem because too many innocent lives are lost every day. The Government should implement an app that rewards people for not being on their phone while driving because so many people die every day from texting and driving.
Many teens and adults die every day from texting and driving. Texting and driving causes a lot of car accidents. Mainly teens of the age of 16-19 are at a higher rate of an accident than most adults. All of a sudden the car is flipping around, once the car has settled you realize that you have hit an oncoming car from swerving in and out of the lanes. The other victim was killed instantly by contact, and you have major injuries from what you can see. Finally, when police arrive on scene they ask to question you about the accident, and you tell them you were texting while driving. You are further charged with manslaughter because the oncoming driver was dead on contact. Studies show that texting while driving is the leading factor in 1.6 million accidents every year, which is about 25 percent of all driving accidents (Bowers, 2014). To put that in perspective, studies have shown that five seconds is the minimal amount of your attention is taken away from the road when texting (Bowers, 2014).
