An Abundance of Katherines by John Green is an unpredictable, charming, and coming-of-age novel that has captivated readers of various preferences and tastes in literature. This enticing love story and alluring journey to a desperately sought after epiphany follows Colin Singleton- a self- proclaimed child prodigy and genius- and his best friend, Hassan Harbish, as they embark on a road trip intended to distract Colin from a devastating break-up and hopefully inspire Colin to have the “eureka moment” he so gravely strives for. While on the road trip, they meet Lindsey Lee Wells and her mother, along with a few of her friends.

In An Abundance of Katherines by John Green, the main character Colin Singleton is a child prodigy and a want to be genius. Colin id found consistently dating girls named Katherine. All 19 Katherines have dumped Colin, which makes him heartbroken. To get his mind off of Katherine 19 his best friend Hassan plans a road trip, to show Colin new places and relationships.
