Personal life[edit] Keiko Agena, a Japanese-American, was born in Honolulu, and began acting at the age of 10. She attended Mid-Pacific Institute preparatory school on O‘ahu, and Whitman College for one year as a drama major. Agena married Shin Kawasaki in a helicopter over Las Vegas, Nevada on December 19, 2005. Career[edit] Agena is probably best known for her role in Gilmore Girls, where she played Lane Kim, a Korean-American teenager who is the best friend of Rory Gilmore, one of the lead characters. Agena played this role despite being significantly older than her character, who was 16 at the start of the series when Agena was 27. Agena has also played the role of Mearing's Aide, Mearing being played by Frances McDormand, in Transformers:

Maryusha Antonovksy was no more. In her place stood Mary Antin, the same immigrant Jewish girl but with a new “American” name. Mary had also bought “real American machine-made garments” to replace her “hateful” homemade European-style clothes. “I long to forget,” she said. “It is painful to be conscious of two worlds.”
Now a woman marrying someone twice her age is rare but we found it kind of weird and might I say a little disturbing that Natalie's husband looks eerily similar to her daddy Walter.
I enjoyed your reading post. These are all the positive aspects of the ACA. Access to quality healthcare is important because it saves lives. Though this law has its challenges it's beneficial for US citizens. Case in point Canada's healthcare system . Every citizen has healthcare and it is paid through taxes. This law also helps medical professionals pay loans and gain scholarships. Some people are saying it's unethical due to the bill of rights. They claim that people living in the US only have rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. How can anyone have these three things if they are in poor health?

Easily one of the best women’s basketball players to go through Michigan State University's program. The five foot eight inch guard from Freeland, Michigan was the “ace in the hole” for Michigan State's program for the past four years. Gathering over 2,000 points, setting the all time scoring record, securing the most points in a single game record, and the most three point baskets made in a single game. This superstar received BIG TEN honors all four years of her time at MSU. Jankoska graduated in May, 2017, with a degree in Psychology, and had high hopes of being drafted into the Women’s National Basketball Association, a week prior to graduation. As every college, high school, and even youth league basketball player dreams of being good enough to play in the WNBA, only a few ever receive the opportunity to actually play. Jankoska was one of the few. First round pick (ninth overall), Chicago Sky, saw the talent Jankoska had worked so hard to obtain. Jankoska moved to Chicago to prepare for her first season in the WNBA. She played in a few preseason games, so her coaches could see if her skills were sharp enough to play this season, or if she needed a year off. Jankoska’s off season work, time, and effort payed off and she made the Chicago Sky’s Roster for their season opener, against Minnesota on May 14, 2017.

Resembling many of the other cultures that we have been learning about and discussing during the course of the semester, the Cherokee have stories explaining the formation of the universe, have a creator, a trickster, and a collection of various other interesting myths. The mythology of a culture results in oneness within the community and a sense of homogeneity that is difficult to achieve by any other means. The agriculture of the Cherokee requires cooperation between the members of the community and rejects being selfish and only looking out for the wellbeing of oneself or one family member.
Leisure at the turn of the twentieth century was a new found type of freedom and entertainment, not only for the children, but for the entire family. It was a way for numerous families to spend quality time together but in a more modern and convenient way. Entertainment before the twentieth century consisted of household entertainment, such as board games, and “backyard games” like tennis, and football amongst others. When compared to leisure in the twentieth century, many of these activities were seen as “outdated”, as more and more people started to adopt the new ways of entertainment. Some examples were the openings of catalogs, sports, cinemas, amusement parks.
Anastasia Romanov is one of the most romanticized figures in history. Due to her noble birth, she was born the fourth daughter of the last Tsar of Russia, to her playful personality, she loved to play tricks on her family and friends to the murderous, mysterious circumstances of her death at the hands of the Bolsheviks. Although Anastasia lived a privileged life, she did not have a say in her life due to her father being the Tsar of Russia.
