These are the lyrics of infamous country legend Kenney Chesney. Kenney Chesney is a leading artist in the country music industry. Earlier in his life, he experienced several set backs and disappointments on his way to becoming a country singer. Nashville, TN was very difficult on this young song writer, as it was the same to others. However, with persistants and dedication, Kenny Chesney finally made a name for himself, and is now a “Big Star.”

It was while attending East Tennessee State University that he “made up [his] mind that [he] was going to figure out how to make [his] living playing music” (Official Website). Therefore, he tried to find “gigs” at local restaurants and bars near his school. He played at Chucky’s in Johnson City five nights a week for tips. Chesney did not mind working for such small wages, because he knew that in the end, his hard work would pay off. Kenney Chesney said, “When you’re making music in Music City, it’s all okay. I had a bad little tape someone helped me put together. Clay Bradley, who was at BMI at the time, helped me eventually get a publishing deal at Acuff Rose and that kind of lead to my Capricorn deal.” Therefore, in the end his hard work has helped him succeed.

Introduction: Throughout the book of Into The Wild Chris McCandless is known to be a wacko reckless idiot, and is also known to be courageous and heroic. However does a courageous person go out into the wilderness knowing that the outcome will be fatal? People viewed him from different perspectives and also have broad range of opinions of this young man. Some deemed him to be incredibly dim-witted or a man that simply just followed his heart. Evidence shows that Chris McCandless is actually a mix of both. The first opinion that described McCandless was brainless, idiotic, and extremely foolish. Kirk Dwayne Franklin was born January 26, 1970 in Forth Worth, Texas. Kirk Franklin has been one of the most influential gospel artists since his debut in 1993. Franklin lived a troublesome childhood. He was abandoned by his mother and did not know who his father is. In his song, “Let It Go” he states, “My momma gave me up when I was four years. She didn’t destroy my body but she killed my soul” His gospel music became a reflection of his testimony. Though Kirk Franklin faced a plethora of obstacles as a child, he was able to overcome them with his faith in God and his Aunt Gertrude who took him in at four years old and believed in him. Kirk Franklins gospel music appeals to Black Gospel, Urban, Gospel, and Contemporary Gospel style. Kirk Franklins childhood experiences, skills and urge for change in the Christian culture inspired him to become one of the best gospel artist in the world.
There have been many stars throughout the years in country music. Two of the most iconic are Alan Jackson and George Strait. Alan Jackson hit his peak in the late 90s and early 2000s. He has not been as productive as of 2015, but he is still creating some music. George Strait was most productive in the mid to early 90s and like Alan he is at the end of his career. Country music was dramatically affected by these two and they both did it with class. They always made music that was family friendly and anyone could listen to it.
In 2000, he went on a tour with Faith Hill. This gave him opportunities to work with several other famous music icons including Usher, Will Smith, Justin Timberlake, and Sting among many other. He has worked on five albums.

Trap Music has gained a humungous following in the past few years based on its popularity in today’s youth. Chief Keef is a rapper from Chicago, Illinois, he is widely known for involvement in the famous trap songs that were featured on his album Finally Rich that was released in 2012. Those critically acclaimed songs where known as, “Love Sosa”, and “Don’t Like”, which catapulted his career into the limelight. Chief Keef’s Love Sosa is an accurate example of Trap Music that shows the true meaning and purpose behind the music genre.
Country music is a genre that some might absolutely love and some might absolutely hate. It is a style of music that developed in the southern and western U.S. and often contains lyrics relating to the lives of people who live in the country. While there are a lot of different types of country music, a very popular country artist of this time is Eric Church.
