The leaders in Anthem seek to accomplish a tyrannical end When you think of being controlled, do you think of being controlled physically and mentally ? What if you were to wake up and the society that you live in is controlling its people from the day they are born till the day they die. A council assigning everyone with a certain job, how their lives work , no time to yourself, and not knowing what love is.
The world council of scholars completely shut down down on the society's creativity .You live in the home of the infants from birth to age five . Rooms are all white, no toys, there is only beds. The citizens in the society do not know what it is. People need to love and be loved or else you will feel like you don’t have a purpose in life other than working every day. When he equality finds the house, he finds a bunch of books and is excited to read them. He discovers the truth.
