For my flexibility, it says that I take a highly flexible approach to life and are likely very open to new and changing ideas and circumstances. I agree with this point a lot, because throughout my life so far I have had to change things that I have done last minute to accomplish something else that was going on. Also, it says that I tend to embrace change in school, work and life in general. I agree with this too, because during school I always got excited when I got a new class because it was something different. Lastly, it says that flexibility allows me to be open to learning new concepts and exploring differing points of view. This one is a little harder for me to completely agree to, because yes I am open to new ideas but not all the time when exploring new concepts and points of view. One example is when I was suppose to tutor a girl in my high school and she was having problems finding a time that would work for both of us. I came up with a time during school that we could meet and I told her that she could come up with any day Monday through Friday at the time that we had determined would work best for both of us.
My social responsibility is very accurate. It states that I have a strong concern and compassion for society and act act as a champion for making a difference. The other one says that I likely gain deeper connection to the welfare of others and as a result, gain a broad perspective of others struggles. I have always felt that I have had a strong
Granted that we finish our project though sweat and tears we never gave up. Uniquely that’s where my openness to experience comes in. However having many different personality traits my minds wonders what’s next for me. My eagerness to learn new concepts is what drives me to become great. Truly my changes in behavior might not be normal, But all the big five personality traits plays a key role in my life. Given these points my brain is fully conscious and aware of what’s going on. Just going to work every day on time shows my agreeableness trait. It makes me fully aware of the decisions I make throughout life. Also expecting good outcomes for my peers plus myself comes from the trait extraversion. Sometimes I can be a bit shy, angry and fully of anxiety, But I believe that’s just part of life. Just having the ability to maintain different characteristic says a lot about the person I am. In the long run my changes in behavior change all the

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” A quote from Winston Churchill that reflects social responsibility. Social responsibility requires you to put your best foot forward due to legal responsibility. It includes the idea that its superior to be driven by a problem rather than reactive. This includes eliminating anything that causes corruption, unethical and delinquent behavior that may bring a negative impact on the supporters around the environment or the community alone before any type of behavior takes place.
Social responsibility is an ethical framework which suggests that an organization or individual has an obligation to act for the benefit of society at large. Social responsibility is a duty every organization has to perform so as to maintain a balance between the economy and the environment
4. When I took the flexibility quiz, I ended up with a score of 39. According to this score, I am “less flexible than usual”. I am not too satisfied with my level of flexibility. I am willing to learn what should be done, in order to become more flexible.
I tend to avoid anything that makes a goal that I am striving to achieve difficult. I prefer to just take the simple way out instead of doing things the hard way. The fourth personality type was Unflappable/Calm; I tend to do things very last minute because I am not rattled by time constraints. I work well under pressure. The fifth is quiet, I am a person of little words and so I don’t say much. I am more of a listener and tend to gather information in order to come to a conclusion regarding problem. Overall, I thought the assessment was correct in describing my personality. At the end of the assessment, I was given my strengths and weaknesses based on my personality type. My strengths included being able to work well in constantly changing environments, the ability to put others at ease, ability to observe, being able to figure out simple solutions to complicated situations, and doing what is on my mind instead of talking about what I’m planning to do. My weaknesses or challenges are the inability to plan long term, dislike for repetition, I’m a huge procrastinator, too independent which hurts the people who work with me, because I think I can take on projects alone, I don’t let my team now of what is taking place so they are left blindsided (not
The world today is facing surmountable problems that seem out of control and feels as if there is no end to the issues. Our troubles are political, social and economical to name a few. One needs to become a critical thinker in order to get the most out of life for themselves as well as others. However the problem to becoming a critical thinker in this world is the information we as a people are receiving. Today because of the internet and other major networking devices too much information can be easily accessed at our fingertips. Knowing what is true and being able to decipher what is false can greatly affect the decisions a person makes. Most subject matters like obesity and healthcare to name a few are deemed as absolute and people accept
Flexibility and being adaptable are likewise traits I expanded on as I was customarily faced with unforeseen circumstances and was obligated to do my best to adjust with any given change. Also, I can retain composure during difficult times and learnt how to be resourceful through my experiences. This knowledge proved to me that it is a vital skill in finding immediate ways to face difficulties such as when I had to decide what actions to undertake when a dementia resident at my placement became confused and was harming and throwing objects at everyone in the
“Social responsibility” is a phrase with many interpretations and meanings. Many believe social responsibility is like being a “brother’s keeper. ”A brother’s keeper is a male or female willing to put their own beliefs and feelings aside to be responsible for the greater good. Phase 3: Application of New Learnings. In Six Ways to Build Trust in Negotiations, Molhotra preaches the significance of one’s reputation. When I had first negotiated with Sam during the “Toronto Condo Activity”, my friend Arfeen had told him about how I’m a nice person to negotiate with. I did not think much of that comment then, but when I found out that I would be negotiating with Sam for the second time during the “Summer Interns Activity”, I knew that I could use my reputation, and thus, personal credibility to benefit. In The Necessary Art of Persuasion, Conger claims that one should always frame their position to find common ground. Providing evidence in the form of data and past experiences, even the use of personal credibility can be highly beneficial when it comes to persuading the other party. Having done my readings before the class, I was fortunate enough to be prepared in advance of my negotiation with Sam. As we had already developed a casual friendship, and I found it very easy to talk to him. It is important to note that he was unaware of “the turning point”; all he knew was that I was an easy person to negotiate with. My credibility came from our previous interaction where I acknowledged his interests and was willing to cooperate. Before the negotiation even started, we both agreed to do the negotiation activity quickly. This helped me articulate my points of interests in an articulate and concise manner. I told him that I did not want to incur the late

Social Responsibility can be “negative,” in that it is a responsibility to refrain from acting or it can be “positive,” meaning there is a responsibility to act. Being socially responsible not only requires participating in socially responsible activities like recycling, volunteering and mentoring, but to actually make it a lifestyle. “But does everyone on earth have an equal right to an equal share of its resources,” (Hardin 365). Only through a commitment to embrace and embed social responsibility into people’s personal value and belief system can people truly become socially responsible in
