Lesson 6 Sources and the Evaluation When I was a little girl my father would come and pick me up from my mother house for his visitation rights and always took me to dinner at his favorite restaurants. One of those restaurants was that of the Spaghetti Factory in San Jose, California where I grew up. It sat along the inner part of downtown San Jose, a fine place to go for a night out on the town; with lights a glowing across ever avenue. Although there are many restaurants one could choose to patronize in San Jose, CA the Spaghetti Factory is still the top choice for me, due to its friendly service, low prices, and an array of menu options to which to choose from. From food for children, to senior menu’s, gluten free menu, too dinner and lunch specials that come with a complete meal; to which to choose from. While this location is known for being one of the busiest places around, reservations are a must but you’re guaranteed a table as soon as you arrive; so the waiting period is very minimal. Another thing is sometimes it’s quite hard to find a reasonable parking spot, but the restaurant offers additional parking across the street in the garage at no additional cost; as long as you show your parking voucher at the front desk to be validated by staff upon your arrival.
Shortly after meeting my husband, my father wanted to meet him as all fathers do; so he invited us out to join him for dinner
As a childcare provider I must ensure quality meals are served to children and that nutrition education is encouraged. I offer a variety of foods for our preschoolers and toddlers. Each meal has whole grain bread, a serving of vegetables, and a serving of fruit, with a meat or meat alternate, and milk is served with each meal. I believe that my menu meets all the requirement for a child’s nutritional needs according to the “National Standards for Child Nutrition Programs”
My family’s traditional Sunday sauce is when my mother’s side of the family gathers for an early dinner to enjoy pasta, meatballs, sausages, and pork cooked in freshly produced tomato sauce. Regardless, the gathering occurs individually every Sunday in all of my family members’ households, however, when my grandparents were alive whoever was available to attend would sit at their long wooden table and enjoy their favorite meal. The setting was not clearly pleasant due to my family’s sarcasm, although deep down, we felt blessed to have each other’s company. Being a large Italian family, we had no choice but to be cramped in my grandparent’s tiny kitchen, where everyone previous to eating seemed irritated and anxious to eat the delicious meal
One warm summer morning my sister, dad, and I were sitting and watching T.V. and my best friend’s dad called and invited us over for the weekend. He said
As we walked up, this establishment looks like any other Applebee’s I’ve been to. It looked clean and well maintained from the outside, and these characteristics carried over as we traveled inside. We were greeted by a Dassel-Cokato Alumni, and he happily led us to where we would feast for the evening. He sat as at two tables shoved together big enough to fit 10 people, but we only had 6. All of us knew exactly what we needed to satisfy our hunger pains, so we didn’t even look at the menus. Our waitress was quick to get our drinks and take our orders. I took advantage of the half-priced appetizers deal, and asked for an order of classic boneless wings along with an order of mozzarella sticks.
Drive around any reasonably sized town in America, and there will likely be a fast food restaurant. However, it is also probable that there be restaurants lining the streets too. In the short essay “Don’t Blame the Eater” by David Zinczenko, the author argues that it is difficult to find economical and convenient alternatives to fast-food restaurants. Conversely, grocery stores and sit down restaurants are widespread, providing customers with healthy choices. Grocery stores provide a wide array of healthy foods and ingredients to prepare a meal with. Fortunately, many restaurants will have nutritious options for health conscious individuals. While some may find it challenging to ignore the conveniences of fast-food restaurants, it takes very
In today’s modern and busy world many people have a thirst for saving time on just about everything, even when it comes to eating. Now days people are more likely to eat out rather than cooking a meal at home. Which can be disappointing because family meals seem to be a dying tradition, but for Dentsville residents who have favorable Mexican places such as La Tolteca and Tequila Grill, it is apparent why. Dentsville MD, is a more residential area that only inhabits one place to eat which is a gas station called Cooksey’s store. Which is not the most appropriate place to dine as family, and is far from comparison of Mexican cuisine. It is hard to beat Mexican food. Chinese restaurants have their chicken fried rice, Italian has its lasagna, American has the cheeseburger, and none of them have the delicious chips and salsa. The best part about chips and salsa is that most of the time it is free of charge. Hence, due to these being the only options within the Dentsville area, Mexican comes out on top. So, with Dentsville being located nigh between La Plata and Charlotte Hall. Subsequently, A Mexican craving family is faced with the decision between going
I sat down at our little table with food already served. My mom was just done wiping down our counters just when dad came in the door. “Hello father!” I said cheerfully.
Dad gave me smile while gently rubbing my back and said "come on, let's have dinner" dad whisper chirpily and I nodded my head ceaseless with a grin.
I remember a conversation I had with Dad one evening as the both of us and Mom sat down to dinner.
One day me, my siblings and, my mom were waiting for my dad to come back from work and eat lunch altogether because that's what we do daily. That day, he came home upset. I was also craving watermelon. He had some problems in work that he had to solve. Before he sat down to eat his lunch, I asked him if he could go buy a watermelon. Of Course, I was daddy's girl, he would never say no. He
Over the past ten years, in what ways have the menus at US-based franchises Applebee 's and Olive Garden accommodated vegetarian customers? For a vegetarian, having diner at a chain restaurant is a matter of survival in a hostile environment. While the streets and malls are full of fast foods, bakeries, cafes, and other types of restaurants, eating with non-vegetarian friends or colleagues can be a real ordeal. After many years of food crises - mad cow disease, the Taco Bell’s beef, the meat adulteration, and other carnivores’ scandals - one would expect a surge of vegetarianism in the United States. But in a country where, according to Gallup 's Consumption Habits Survey (2012), only 5% of the population does not consume meat; living and eating for a vegetarian can be extremely difficult, especially in small towns. Fortunately, more and more restaurants are starting to meet the demand of an accessible menu for vegetarians.
Today was my wife and I’s 3rd anniversary, and we planned to go on a trip to Czechoslovakia. We also went there on our honeymoon, and decided to go there every other year afterwards. I still remember our wedding day, my father was crying tears of joy, proud of how much his son had grown up.
If you’re ever hungry, can’t decide where to eat and out and about in Rutland, go to Applebee’s located on Woodstock Ave next to Ben&Jerrys. They have a great selection of American food which you can smell as soon as you exit your car; I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. I have been here on numerous occasions which is why I plan to share my experience with you. Throughout this essay I will show you what it’s like when you enter Applebee’s, what’s on the menu, and what I get to satisfy my hunger.
Most people confuse that when they hang out or travel with friends and they always have different opinions on eating. For example, I have some friends they are vegetarian. When I was hanging out with them and I want to eat meat. However, they don’t eat any meat unless egg and milk. So I always had got entangled in choice restaurant. In San Diego, I find many restaurants that can eat meat and eat vegetarian food, but they are so expensive if you want to order what you want. Therefore, this essay I will show you a nice restaurant, it calls Souplantation.
