The role of lifestyle modification in the treatment of migraines is to prevent future migraines by identifying the triggers, finding suitable medications, and enforcing preventative measures. The first step of making a lifestyle change to treat migraines would be to identify the environmental triggers that cause migraines. There is not an identifiable cause of migraines because of the wide variety of them, but there are some known triggers that cause migraines.
