Getting an M.S.BA degree from McCombs serves the purpose of achieving my short term goal: to work as a consultant or business analyst. The reason I want to work in such positions is because of the steep learning curve, I can be exposed to various kinds of cases and learn how to solve problems professionally. This is a to prepare for my long term goal: become an entrepreneur myself in helping startups with data analytics and decision making. I always have a great passion for startups, even thinking about the difficulties and uncertainties makes me feel excited. Thanks to the past entrepreneurial experiences I have, now I know exactly what to improve and what are needed to achieve my goals. I chose UT Austin because of the following reasons:
I set a goal to further my education by enrolling in college before I turned twenty five. I was on call 24 hours a day as tow truck driver at the time not leaving me time to meet the time frame of that goal. I did not completely give up on that goal and have currently met it. The reason I was eventually able to reach this goal is my unwillingness to give up on the things that are important to me. Even if things don’t go exactly how you plan you should not give up on
College is expensive. No one can pay for it by themselves unless they’re a millionaire. What about the people who actually need help? I am one of those people. If given a scholarship, how will it benefit my education? If I was given a scholarship, it will benefit me in reaching my educational goal by motivating and pushing me to do better to make the organization proud and it will grant me the ability to get everything I need because it will not have any limitations to what I can do with it.
Up to this point in my life, all of my experiences have shaped my perspective on my life. Through these experiences, I have formulated long-term goals. These specific goals may be some of the most important ones I will ever make. The long-term goals I have decided on right now include becoming a lawyer and an NFL referee. Each field will present their own challenges. If I wish to excel in each field, I will have to be dedicated and motivated each step of the way. This dedication and motivation has come without challenges so far. The major challenge is the pathway to a college education. A college education would almost certainly be needed in order to become a successful attorney. Many of the lawyers and attorneys I meet day to day at the Ottawa
Education has always been a major part of my life. While growing up, I always knew that I would graduate from high school and then continue my education in college. That has always been my plan and now I am making it a reality by attending college here at Utah State University. There are many reasons as to why I am here. The first reason would have to be that I made a goal when I was younger that I would attend college. I am very dedicated to any kind of goal that I make and going to college to pursue a career that required a higher education has always been a dream of mine. I like a challenge and I feel that not just anyone can come to college. Those who attend college need to have the right mindset to have the motivation and dedication
When the challenge of beginning college presented itself, I had no goals in mind. When you’re 18 and have a high school diploma in your hand, people tend to see you as a piece of molding clay. Your friends and family can’t resist telling you what you should do and how you should do it. They also never fail to pile on the questions. Not having the answers to such seemingly simple questions like, “What do you want to be?” “Where do you want to go?” “How are you going to do it?” can make a young, ambitious person question herself. But the reality was, I just did not know yet. I considered becoming a business manager, a dental hygienist, an accountant, a nurse. Originally, I thought not having a solid plan meant I wasn’t prepared for college. However, I discovered that no matter what students aspire to pursue during their postsecondary education, everyone must complete General Education Requirements, so that is where I began my journey.
A few individuals need to be rich and well known, and others like there life test and unimportant. I'm the sort of individual that is cordial, receptive and gutsy. I like to carry on with my life without bounds, notwithstanding when I'm not in the state of mind. My goal is to stay propelled and solid so that I may fulfill the objectives that I have set out for myself. I am getting it done when I am sure and most noticeably
One of my short term goals include being able to work with the professors at UW-Platteville to better my understanding of Physics and Mathematics than use that knowledge to translate into engineering and learn use this to better humanity. I also wish to be financially stable in college and be able to afford to live in the dorms and purchase books for classes. In order to reach this goal I would need to look for a job on campus to help pay for tuition and other financial needs. A long term goal of mine is to graduate from college with a degree in the Engineering field than to use that to find a successful career in order to support myself as well as a possible family.
My main objective for going to college is to put myself in a position where I can bring people together to solve common problems. I am currently a sophomore in college and I’m double majoring in both International Relations and Computer Technology. As an ambassador of my generation, my goal is to become a language interpreter for the United Nations and a computer technician. I plan on studying abroad to further enhance my knowledge and gain a greater understanding of how to communicate more effectively with different cultures. The personal experience of interacting with different people will give me insight on how to not only bring people together, but enhance my skills as an interpreter as well. According to Eve Elwell from thirdyearabroad.com,
1) to achieve academic success by working hard and graduating next year from WITC. I plan to work hard, study hard, and, in doing so, strive to get a GPA of 3.4 or higher.
My educational goals are to finish high school with all A’s and a GPA of 4.5 or higher. These are short-term goals that will help me to get into a good college. My top choice for college is Davidson College. The next prospects are Vanderbilt University, Appalachian State University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In college, I want to obtain, eventually, a Ph.D. and pursue a career in writing and English or potentially become a professor. During college, I want to study abroad, travel out of the US to experience different cultures and lifestyles. My goal is to traverse the world and visit Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Italy, France, England, Greece, etc. I want to see the Eiffel Tower, visit the Roman Coliseum, and explore
This semester I want to take a different approach in all of my classes, but especially for this political science class. Even though I have always been a meticulous student, college is slightly more perplexing and I want to ensure I am fully equipped for the corporate America. A few of my goals consist of making A’s and B’s in the course, forming a useful study group with my colleagues, and retaining the information taught in class while using it as cross-curriculum for relative classes (i.e. Composition I). It is imperative that I not only do well, but am able to comprehend the material in a way that suits my educational career in a variety of aspects. Although high school and college are differing institutions, my goal is to do exceptionally
Graduating with my bachelor’s degree excites me the most. It has been one of my major goals for so long and now I am finally working toward making it a reality. I have worked hard to get to this point in my life. And thank God for where I am today. Looking back to when I was scammed by a diploma mill and lost several hundred dollars. I thought it would never happen for me. And then I earned my high school diploma and enrolled into college.
All throughout high school, students are told by teachers that if they set goals for themselves then they can achieve it. They just have to work hard for their goals in order to reach them. Since goals are so important to succeed in life, I’m planning to keep a grade average of ninety in Mrs. Allen’s class all year, also I plan to score a twenty-five or higher on my ACT test, and lastly I’m planning to be accepted into Tyler Junior College before I graduate high school.
Goals are standards or benchmarks that you hope to achieve over a certain periods of time. It is the object of a person's ambition or effort, an aim or desired result. I have many goals that I would like to achieve at the end of this year. Some related to this class, some for other classes, some for life and some for the future.
Upon attending college as a freshman, I slowly grew into the man. I am today, being a young man growing through the years of college and still growing I have tremendous each year.
