It is essential to give the body what it needs to be able to function at the intensity it needs to. One of the most important foods people need that want to loss weight and gain muscles is protein. Some examples of good protein are chicken breast, turkey, salmon, tuna, and egg whites. Another big part of a diet should be carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are what gives the body energy, by providing the muscles with glycogen it helps the body to be able to workout. A good example of carbohydrates to eat is whole wheat bread, potatoes, oatmeal, and rice. Carbohydrates should make up at least fifty percent of the diet. Another part of a good diet should contain fats. Not saturated fats that are bad for the body but saturated ones that help against disease, reduce cholesterol levels and can give some extra energy.
