Introduction
Elections have played an integral role in the development of one’s country. Essentially, an election is a procedure by which members of communities and/or organizations choose persons to hold an office. It is a technique of rendering authority and/or creating representative bodies. Elections are often linked to the idea of democratic representation. Therefore, an election is a device for filling an office or posts through choices made by a designated body of people.

On the other hand, automated election system is using machine known as the PCOS.

Statement of the Problem This research aims to determine which system used in election is most preferred by the BSA students at FAITH. In association with the study, the researchers would like to answer the following questions: 1. What do the BSA students prefer for the May 2013 Election? a. Automated Election System(PCOS) b. Manual Election System 2. What are the significance of using machine or of using manual count in the May 2013 Election? 3. How will the BSA students be able to adapt to any change in the system of election on May 2013? 4. Which is more effective? Manual System? Automated Election System?

Significance of the Study This research aims to seek and give information about the preference of BS Accountancy students about the system to be used on the May 2013 election. The researchers believe that this research has a great significance to the following: To the students, who have different preferences about the election and have their own choices, for this may be a guide in selecting a system in election that will be a great factor in choosing our future leaders. To the teachers, for they will become more aware of the changes in the system of election, To the parents, who will guide and influence their children as they reach the right age to vote.
