As a teen Jennifer began her career as a dancer in musicals, touring Europe and Japan. At sixteen, she appeared in the movie, My Little Girl (1986). Jennifer graduated from Preston High School in New York. After, she went to Baruch College in New York City, where she studied law. While she was still studying law, she heard about a scholarship to a Manhattan dance school. Her mother didn’t approve of her dancing, and wanted her to stop dancing altogether and focus on becoming a lawyer. Lopez moved out of her house and moved in the dance studio in order to keep dancing. The TV series, In Living Color, hired Jennifer as a dancer in 1990. I also have my most favorite two American musicians who positively affect the overall my life, Jason Mraz and Bruno Mars. Though Jason Mraz made his debut ten years earlier than Bruno Mars’, there are many similarities between Mraz and Mars. First, even though Mraz and Mars grew up in different environment, they had a same passion of music since both were a young child.
