. On October 21, 2016, I went to the observation of the Global Clusters and Mars. The first telescope I went to was the Nebula. I learned that it had a grey ring around it and that the sun will look like this in approximately five billion years. It was at first quite difficult to locate but then once I angled my head a bit, it was easily located. It looked like a small cluster of gas that I was looking at. The second telescope I went to was that of Mars which I found out t is possible to locate even without a telescope, it is just depending on where one looks at, it should be the little red dot in the sky that looks like a star. From the telescope, Mars did look quite bigger than if one were to look at it without one. The lady that was working
The following is a case study of a lesson by Mr. Villanueva reviewing lessons on the planet Mars for an upcoming test. Mr. Villanueva uses many different ways of incorporating both semantic memory and episodic memory as well as the demonstration of long-term memory in his lesson. During the lesson, the importance of attention in memory and recall is seen throughout. This paper describes and inspects the Mars in Review case and what theories were incorporated into this lesson. It critically examines each aspect of this lesson and the correlation between behaviorist theories of learning.
Forrest Edward Mars Sr. was born in 1904 to Frank C Mars and Ethel G Kissack. Forrest first got his taste for the Mars company because his father made butter cream candy from their kitchen in the home in Tacoma, Washington. Frank expands his candy making to Minnesota and crafts what is called the Nougat House in which the candy then were called Patricia chocolates. From the Nougat house, the Milky Way candy bar is introduced and becomes an instant success, where full-time sales staff have to be hired. In 1929, the company becomes Mars Incorporated and Frank works hard enough to make the years amazing, with Forrest newly entering the business. Snickers are launched in 1930, while Forrest moves to the United Kingdom in hopes of working on his
The Mars One Company, is scamming its supporters millions of dollars into a fake mission! The Mars One project has remained for awhile as a legitimate company, but experts and scammed donors have found majour flaws in the Mars One Mission. Many of the experts have found several errors and discrepancies when they more closely examined the Company. This in turn has led many to conclude that Mars One is not a legitimate space agency, and people should not be investing time, resources, and money into this untrustworthy company.
Mars a small, reddish planet that is the fourth in order from the Sun and is periodically visible to the naked eye. Mars is the second-smallest planet in the solar system only Mercury is smaller. In comparison to Earth, Mars is about half (53 percent) the size of Earth, but considering Mars is a desert planet, it has the same amount of dry land as Earth. Mars has a diameter of 4, 222 miles (6, 794 km), but from pole to pole the diameter would be 4,196 mile (6,752 km). Also, of course the radius of Mars would be half of the diameter. The circumference of Mars around the equator is approximately 13,000 miles (21, 342 km), but from pole-to-pole Mars is only 13,200 miles (21,144 km) around. This shape is called an oblate spheroid, an oblate
“We have the knowledge. We have the technology. We just need to get going.” - Ellen Stofan, NASA. As Americans, our first time landing on the moon with humans was in 1969,after 7 years of extreme advancement in technology. Since then, we have not sent humans any farther [nasa.gov]. Sure, we’ve sent rovers to Mars and those rovers are still there. We’ve attempted to reach Venus and Mercury but were incinerated on the surface. Plus Venus and Mercury are way too close so it’s a melting pot for anything that goes there. That leaves NASA with one more goal--Mars. NASA needs to get astronauts there so we can complete testing with the the weak radiation barrier that Mars has and the living conditions on the red planet. Overall, finally sending
So many adults and young people alike are in awe of the seemingly limitless skies that are made visible on a clear night. But while we stare in wonder, without the help of space-borne telescopes, we could only imagine what threats the cosmos has to offer.
Several unresolved problems remain concerning the Orion Nebula. The fate of the protoplanetary disks, for example, is presently impossible to predict. Without a more detailed understanding of how planets actually form, it cannot be assumed that the events within the Orion Nebula are analogous to the events that led to the formation of the planets in the solar system. Furthermore, the detection of water in the nebula has revealed the need to revise the theory of star formation to
In 2011, NASA's Mars Science Laboratory mission, the rover given name as Mars Curiosity, began to inspect the Martian rocks to conclude the geologic procedures that created them and to explore more about the present and past habitability of Mars. Among its findings is the first meteorite on the surface of the red planet. In September 2014, India’s Mars Orbiter Mission reached the red planet, making it the fourth nation to successfully enter orbit around
The telescope was not an invention made just to look up into the stars and see what you can find it actually helped make discoveries like Dark energy, how old the universe is and how the universe were different long ago. First, the
Within the constellation of Orion is what appears to the human eye as a hazy star, but is in fact the Orion Nebula, a cosmic cloud composed of dust and brightly glowing gas around 20-30 light years in diameter. This nebula, often called M42 or NGC 1976, is one of the most studied stellar ‘nurseries’ and is located in the Orion constellation, a part of the ‘sword’ hanging from the three-starred ‘belt,’ approximately 1,500 light years away from Earth.
The most fascinating planet in the world is not Earth, it is Mars. As the years have went on NASA has continued to unravel secrets and images of the red planet. As many people know, the Curiosity Rover has been monitoring Mars for quite a while now. Well, NASA decided to release a video on YouTube on what the rover captured. The coolest feature to this video is that fact that the user can view the red planet themselves. Literally, the video is played and the user has full control over what they want to see. The video that was released by the company showed some very amazing footage.
A one way ticket to Mars; it sounds like science fiction, but it hasjust become reality. You could have a chance to travel farther away than any other human beings have gone, to live in another world, and going from a beautiful planet with a blue sky and yellow sunshine green trees to a red plant where there is no water and no food. Where Tthere are only dust storms, empty deserts, and volcanoes. All of that risk is due to what the dream of human beings have of carrying our curiosity to its furthest reaches. But there are a lot of problems and questions before we achieve this dream. How will we go there? How much time will it take to go there? And the biggest questions: How to survive in Mars. As a human, we have to have
Do you enjoy freezing temperatures? How does -148oF sound? Maybe a maximum of 32oF? If you do, welcome to Mars! You will get hypothermia if you’re not careful. If only the people who want to live on Mars would understand, Mars is a genocide waiting to happen.
Ever since the beginning of physics and Astronomy man has pondered the question, “Are we alone?” Scientists have studied and collected data from the eight Planets. However, mostly all of them lack the key nutrients needed. Except when we took a closer look at the red planet (Mars), one can see a couple of those nutrients on Mars. The most outstanding features of the red planet are its water, Atmosphere, and extreme storms.
Space can be excellent. The planets, stars, systems and nebulae make effortless and vivid shapes noticeable to our telescopes.
