Reba Nell McEntire is a legendary country singer. She grew up in the small town of McAlester, Oklahoma, and is now a star in Nashville, Tennessee. She is still going strong at the age of sixty. Reba was born on March 28, 1955. Her profession is being a country singer and an actor. She is married and has one child.

2002-2003: Dallas moved South to the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. At this time they chose to move due to the style of housing and less mischief; moving from dorms to luxury rooms in hotels and moving to a city with more of a nightlife.

I chose the city of Kankakee, Illinois not only because I was born and raised here, but because I believe that there is so much potential for change here. Kankakee is a 100% urban city in Illinois and is located 45 minutes from the south side of Chicago. Kankakee has been known to some as a very southern suburb, but it is not. Kankakee is a part of a tri-city area and is not included in the southern suburbs of Chicago. I heard a recording of Jay Leno saying that Kankakee is one of the worst places to live years ago and that lit the fire in me to return and see great things happen here. Kankakee is often talked about in a negative way from the residents and those who visit the area, but I see the potential of this city in its people.

Dallas offers the feel of a small town and the amenities of a large city.

With the West Village stores such as Polo, the Magnolia Theater, and one-of-a-kind boutiques, Uptown is a favorite spot for avid shoppers, young professionals, SMU students, and people who want the downtown lifestyle without having to deal with the parking and congestion of downtown.

Small Loop - At first, people were very happy that the capital of Texas was moving because the capital at the time, Columbia, was too small. However, when Houston was announced the capital, people were disappointed because it was a small town without proper streets. But afterwards, the town’s population increased, so people were not angry anymore.

For a current population of more than one million, Dallas, Texas, had humble beginnings. Through the determination of one man, the settlement called Dallas became a reality in the Three Forks area of the Trinity River, in the 1840s.

Some of the places to visit for finding more history is The Inner Space Cavern it’s important to our history because, it was found in 1963 by the Texas Highway department while building interstate 35. The Williamson museum was established in 1997 it preserves rich culture & heritage. It is located in 716 S. Austin Ave at the historic square in Georgetown. The Bremond park is a historical district it has been constructed by the 1850’s, they’re still some remaining upper classes in Victorian neighborhood.

Football is one of America’s greatest sports, but on December 1, 2016 Joe McKnight was at an intersection when one man shot him and killed him. Witness say that the shooter said “I told you not to f*** with me.” This was shooting that made people very unhappy. Fans were devastated. Teams and teammates were on social media talking about this tragic event.

Norman is an amazing town. The people are some of the most friendly as anywhere that can be found in the state of Oklahoma. The consistent pursuit of excellence in business and in education stand as an example to the rest of the state. Also, Norman is home to the University of Oklahoma, the school that is tied for third most college football national championships in all of the United States. As they say in Norman, “BOOMER

Collin County is a governing body north of Dallas that has been experiencing rapid growth over the past decade. Planning for the population growth, businesses expansions, and county debt has been needed in order for the county to be sustainable during the great recession.

Fort Worth has a long, colorful history, complete with with cowboys and outlaws, but has since become a modern city that has never forgotten its roots. Established in 1849, Fort Worth was originally a military outpost. Also called cowtown, the city flourished during the cattle drives, with cattle still being an important industry. Today, Fort Worth is a growing city, full of culture and home to many new exciting business and activities. With varied geography, a cowboy culture, and a strong influence from the past Fort Worth is an important part of Texas history.

Dallas has many major highways that cross through its land. These highways include 20, 30, 35, and 45. Interstate 35 actually extends all of the way up to Canada. The city is again on the Trinity River which it shares with another major city called Ft. Worth. Together the two cities make up the DFW area

In addition, you will be glad to know that this community is just walking distance from the Capital Metro bus station on North Lamar. Mockingbird Hill is also very easy to get to if you are coming from other areas because of Interstate 35. The neighborhood is just off West Grady Lane and West Applegate Drive.

Today, I am going to convince you why Williston is a wonderful place to live. First of all, this little town is found in the Northern part of the country in the state of North Dakota. We are on the western side of the state, right next to the Missouri River and Lake Sakakawea. Don’t be surprised if the name of the town sounds familiar, we were known nationwide as Boomtown, USA. Williston is a very culturally diverse town. You find everything from your city slickers, to your hipsters, to your farmers and rednecks. In addition to that, we are also very rich in Native American history. We have an large, old military fort called Fort Buford and a very famous trading post called Fort Union. Fort Buford is also the place where Sitting Bull surrendered.
