I would like to be a member of the National Honor Society because throughout my high school career, I have strived to be a conscientious student, and achieve as much as possible academically. Since my freshman year, I have raised my grade point average to a 96% and joined five clubs. I received the United States Achievement Academy Award for my academic achievement, and I have been appointed co-captain of the fencing team. I plan to continue to improve academically, and in the extra curricular activities I participate in. Finally, I would like to sincerely thank you for your time and
National Honor Society describes the person I aspire to be. A person with character, leadership skills, and an honest person. I would love to be a part of a club that brings out the best within me. I do believe I have some of the qualities that are appropriate and needed to be in this club. I've always tried to help the people in my community and also around me whenever help is needed. I think that I would be able to help out others, just like the people who are in National Honor Society. I would like to be a member of the Lenoir City High School National Honor Society because I like what the club means and its purpose. Doing different projects and being able to help people would be really amazing. I would like to do things for others without
I believe i should be in National Junior honor society because i work hard to keep my grades up, I take responsibility for my actions, I join in on school events like the dances and make sure i'm polite to my peers. I show leadership when the teacher leaves the room and i decide not to mess around, listening to the teacher in class and showing up to school with a positive attitude. When i show up to school with a positive attitude i smile say good morning and i’m ready to learn.
I want to be a member of National Honor Society because I believe it will provide me with more opportunities to help out in the community. I will use the honor of being a member of NHS to set an example for the younger generation of Storm Lake, starting with my four younger siblings. I hope to add to the character of Storm Lake by being a positive influence on those around me. Volunteering in the community will allow me to gain skills that I will use throughout high school and into the rest of my life. I hope that you consider adding to the National Honor Society roster as I truly believe I can do great things for the Storm Lake community.

Not only do I posses the four tenets, character, scholarship, leadership and service, but I am also constantly working harder and striving to be better in all four regions. Acceptance into the National Honor Society of Petrides would be a great honor for me. The National Honor Society in Petrides will allow me to connect with likeminded people in the school who have portrayed similar scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship as I have. I have shown my leadership qualities through school events and volunteer work. Service to the school is one of biggest focus of the National Honor Society which I have always been content to participate in. The three amazing years at Petrides, I have served the school by aiding and tutoring students that have needed help academically; while participating in school events and teams showing school pride.
National Honor Society is a huge honor to be on and there are many reasons why I think I should be picked. First off, I have always done my best in school and my grades are very important in my family. My mom is from a small town that has very low income and, my parents have always done their best to give me everything that they can. I try to keep my grades high to show them how much I appreciate them. My future is everything to me and I want to do my best at everything. An example on how my future means so much to me is that this semester I am taking 2 college classes along with my regular Junior classes. I have been in band since 5th grade and I love it so much. I feel like playing an instrument has made me a better person. Also, I am in
I would like to become a member of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), because it is a great honor to be recognized by the teaching staff of the Andrews Middle School. I feel that I exemplify the five pillars of the NJHS and show leadership amongst my peers. I am glad that my hard work has been noticed. In addition, I am proud to be placed amid a group of students my own age, who are all working towards the same goals. Being a member in the NJHS will also look impressive on my future job applications.
To be chosen as a candidate to become a National Honor Society member is a huge honor. I have been working very hard these past years and to finally be recognized for it feels great. I am a very hard working person and I love to help when I can. I believe I am responsible, hard working and easy to get along with, so I would love to be apart of National Honor Society to do even more than what I already have done. My academic achievements show that I am very hardworking and responsible.
I feel I should be a part of the National Honor Society because I show a willingness to help others. I try to the best of my ability to be a leader, and I am creative as well as keep a positive attitude so others may as well. I wish to be a part of the National Honor Society so I can take these skills and help others who need my help in order for them to follow on the path to become great members of society.
I am honored to be considered to be a part of National Honor Society. I have been working for the past two and half years of high school to keep my grades up and being an applicant means I have done well. I would be a good candidate for National Honor Society because I meet the qualifications of good grades, outstanding character, great leadership and tremendous service. My grades are good.
I believe that I would be a good member of National Honor Society because I am an involved student here at SHS and in my community. Whenever there is a school event that needs planning, setup, or cleanup, I am bound to be there. Ask anyone and they will tell you that I am one of the most spirited and positive students at this school.
The reason that I am interested in becoming a member of the National Honor Society is because the National Honor Society represents all of the values that I find most important in my education and life. National Honor Society requires academic excellence throughout high school. At the beginning of my Freshman year, I set a goal to graduate with a 4.0 GPA. I have worked diligently to achieve and maintain this grade point average while taking several advanced classes. So far, I have taken three classes for college credit and plan to take multiple more during my senior year. Through the course of my high school education, I have realized how important it is for an individual to develop and maintain these studious habits. All of the habits I have developed through becoming an excellent
I am honored and excited to be writing about how I can support the National Honor Society (NHS). I was first introduced to the NHS, around 10 years of age, by my Uncles awards he proudly displays in his “Man Cave” along with many other academic and leadership awards he had received from Jr. High all the way through College. Of course, he saw me looking over the many ribbons, medals, trophies, pictures and I could continue; however this is not about him and when he saw me looking at them he had no problem coming over and explaining what each award was and how he had received each one. Then we got to the NHS picture, medal & yellow cord. He explained how he was “tapped” into NHS as a Sophomore and he made sure I understood that was not the
I deserve to be a member of the National Honor Society because I feel like I’ve earned it. Over my high school career, I have been through many challenges, but I learned to face them head on with a positive attitude knowing how good the outcome can be. I fit the qualifications to be a member and if I do not fulfill them to a certain level, I will work on how to reach them. Throughout my school education, I’ve always tried my best, even more so in high school. I hold myself up to a very high expectation, I know I can always do better than before. As for volunteering, I am always involved in my community as much as I can. As a child, I was involved in many programs and I continue to do service work with more benefits to my future and character
