National Honor Society is a huge honor to be on and there are many reasons why I think I should be picked. First off, I have always done my best in school and my grades are very important in my family. My mom is from a small town that has very low income and, my parents have always done their best to give me everything that they can. I try to keep my grades high to show them how much I appreciate them. My future is everything to me and I want to do my best at everything. An example on how my future means so much to me is that this semester I am taking 2 college classes along with my regular Junior classes. I have been in band since 5th grade and I love it so much. I feel like playing an instrument has made me a better person. Also, I am in
I make a great candidate for the National Honor Society because I am a good leader.
Being a part of National Honor Society means that I am held at a higher standard than most students. I am to uphold the four pillars of National Honor Society, which are service, scholarship, leadership, and character. All four aspects of NHS have been important in my life and have shaped me into who I am today. Being involved with and serving my community has given me a better understanding of the needs of a community. I have had the opportunities to help people, which brings me joy, and gives me a way to reach out to my surrounding area. Being a good scholar has meant the world to me all of my life and it has begun to pay off. I see myself excelling in areas of life that some struggle. It has also helped me get into good colleges and have
I am ready to fully accept the responsibilities of National honor Society. I am involved in many activities and I am dedicated to push myself and reach my full potential in each and every one. In basketball, sometimes I would get knocked down but I would always get back up with the encouragement of my teammates and work harder to win. My coaches really influence me on and off the court. Coach Batchelder will critique me on the court and it’s up to me to make adjustments and also off the court he reminds me to maintain my grades which are also on me. I play a sport all year-round, my daily schedule is school, practice, homework and bed at 10:00pm so I can get 8 hours of sleep to start the day all over again.
Many only see the National Honor Society as an organization that will look excellent on college applications, and although that may be true, the National Honor Society is not an organization that can be taken so lightly. The National Honor Society is so much more than a scholarship-granting organization, the NHS is an organization that helps develop the requisite for render service and the development of leadership and character. The growth and success of the NHS relies on not only its members, but also those outside of the organization. Its members can only do so much on their own. Part of building character and leadership is to encourage and rely on others whom are capable of helping. The members of NHS shouldn’t let their pride and achievements

In addition, being a member of National Honor Society will allow me to be an example for other students, just like the members had been for me. In conclusion, I should be a member of National Honor Society because I demonstrate excellence in all four tenets of National Honor Society.
The reason that I am interested in becoming a member of the National Honor Society is because the National Honor Society represents all of the values that I find most important in my education and life. National Honor Society requires academic excellence throughout high school. At the beginning of my Freshman year, I set a goal to graduate with a 4.0 GPA. I have worked diligently to achieve and maintain this grade point average while taking several advanced classes. So far, I have taken three classes for college credit and plan to take multiple more during my senior year. Through the course of my high school education, I have realized how important it is for an individual to develop and maintain these studious habits. All of the habits I have developed through becoming an excellent
I believe i should be in National Junior honor society because i work hard to keep my grades up, I take responsibility for my actions, I join in on school events like the dances and make sure i'm polite to my peers. I show leadership when the teacher leaves the room and i decide not to mess around, listening to the teacher in class and showing up to school with a positive attitude. When i show up to school with a positive attitude i smile say good morning and i’m ready to learn.
I believe I qualify for membership in the National Honor Society for the reason that I love helping out with school activities and non-school activities. I find pleasure in helping out in my community and being an exceptional example for kids that may look up to me or are younger than me.
I am deeply honored to be among the exemplary students who are being considered for the National Honor Society. I must admit that this is something that I have been looking forward to since the beginning of my high school career. I believe that this organization does great things in society and that I can play a part in furthering the impression that is made. I like to think that I deserve this honor and this chance because I have worked very hard to get here.
I deserve to be a member of the National Honor Society because I feel like I’ve earned it. Over my high school career, I have been through many challenges, but I learned to face them head on with a positive attitude knowing how good the outcome can be. I fit the qualifications to be a member and if I do not fulfill them to a certain level, I will work on how to reach them. Throughout my school education, I’ve always tried my best, even more so in high school. I hold myself up to a very high expectation, I know I can always do better than before. As for volunteering, I am always involved in my community as much as I can. As a child, I was involved in many programs and I continue to do service work with more benefits to my future and character
On Oct. 21, students were selected to be in National Honor Society during a “tapping” ceremony at the high school. Almost all of the students and staff at GHV are in attendance of the ceremony and act as onlookers. During this ceremony, students who are either juniors or seniors meeting the NHS requirements and having submitted an application wait in anticipation as current members walk around the auditorium delivering paper slips of admission.
First and foremost, I would just like to say that is an honor to even be considered as a future member of the National Honor Society. Since freshman year, I have the goal to one day be a member of the National Honor Society. Right now, I am so close and I hope I will be able to achieve that goal. I believe I am a good fit to become a member of this organization, because I am hardworking, dependable, honest, and I have the core values of scholarship, leadership, character, and service.
I am honored to be considered to be a part of National Honor Society. I have been working for the past two and half years of high school to keep my grades up and being an applicant means I have done well. The reason I want to be admitted to National Honor Society is because I want to be apart of something that is helping out others and the community around us. I believe being apart of National Honor Society would help me do this. Being apart of National Honor Society would hold me to the standard of volunteering in my community and upholding responsibilities that I value. The volunteer work that National Honor Society does to help in the community is something I would love to be apart of. Also, I hope to be a great student, and the standards that National Honor Society gives its members are something I already try to live up to. Being admitted to National Honor Society, I hope would be a benefit to the Summit National Honor Society and
I think I deserve to be in National Honor Society because I'm a very passionate and headstrong person. I love helping people and donating everything that I possible can, like my blood or clothes I can no longer fit in. Also, during can drives, I try to bring as many canned goods as I can. For leadership, I was the secretary of Junior National Honor Society in eighth grade. Junior National Honor Society piqued my interest in helping my community. I loved helping for safe trick-or-treat and the dances. My mother has brought me along with her to help at the animal shelter and I adore walking the dogs and giving them a loving friend. Doing these things make me feels ecstatic and I hope it makes the people I'm helping even more joyous. I also hope
