Despite the fact that postmodernism is criticised as being one itself, it dislikes metanarritives. these are single theories such as marxism or science that claim to explain every thing. they do not beleive that science should have as much dominance over what people believe about their health as there are other options. Postmodernists beleive that people should use their theory of Pastiche (pick and mix) and that they should choose some parts from the biomedical view of health that work for them, and some from complementary medicine. Destiny can be a word that many people fear, simply due to the fear of the unknown. Humans fear life as well as death on a day to day basis. But the Bible reassures us that death can be faced without fear (psalm 23:4), because as Christians we believe that death is nothing more than a reward for the life that we have lived and we should welcome death when it is our time. Our destiny in life is to serve God to the fullest and to be with him one day in Heaven when we are called to go and leave our body here on earth.

Worldview is regarded as the crucial basis of reality and is dominant among culture. It consists of classes, norms as well as values that provide an overview by which is observed as an overview that people use to examine the universe. As a result of unique wide perspective associated with worldview that everybody has, there are evidences of similarities within communities, family setups and among the culture. (Shelly, 2006). Worldview can also be influenced by the spiritual nature of individuals as this requires a consideration so as to take a person’s holistic care. There are many different types of worldviews in play during this day in age. One of the broadest indecisive worldviews is the New Age worldview. The New Age worldview ism to help individuals find their inner divinity. The New Age movement believes that we are all divine, therefore, we are all gods. This is great contrast with the Christian worldview who believe that there is only one true God. Although these two worldviews are very different when it comes down to “Who is God?”, they do have some commonalities. This knowledge greatly affects my worldview and affects how I live my life.

Western culture and policies have shaped the modern world, especially the Middle East, in many ways. Since the sixteenth century, the nations of Western civilization have been the driving wheels of modernization. Globalization is simply the spread of modern institutions and ideas from one high power to the wider world. This paper will provide a hypothetical discussion of how each of the four “worldviews” (post-positivism, constructivism, advocacy/participatory, and pragmatism) might apply to the proposed study. It will refer to the topic paper developed during the class RSH9101B (Research Topic, Problem, Purpose, and Questions) with the assistance of Dr. Kenneth Gossett, class mentor. The portion of the Topic Paper to be used will be the problem statement, which will provide the foundation for this discussion and completion of this assignment. This discussion ultimately will lead to the strengthening of this research and the understanding for the need of better researches to help today’s virtual organizations.

My personal worldview explains the way I view and live life through the assumptions and beliefs I hold in response to the world around me. I believe I was created for a specific reason and purpose.

Over the years my worldview has evolved from as a by product of cultural influence, to one steeped in my belief of God. However, until I got married 4 years ago, I had never actively worked on developing my Christian theistic worldview. Brown, Phillips and Stonestreet (2008) described a persons’ worldview as the framework that guides our beliefs and viewpoints (p. 21). With this in mind, I have established 3 main tenants of my worldview, God is, the universe was and morality will be. These are the foundations for the way I live, move and express my being in this world.

Before taking this course, I had no idea that I had a worldview. I know my worldview didn’t change, but my understanding of myself, others and what that means changed enormously. I learned something very useful and important about the way I perceive things and gain knowledge; I learned about things I didn’t know previously.

When looking at the postmodern worldview, many people believe that science is unable to explain the meaning to life. The post-modernistic theory explains that the world consists of an energy that can be manipulated and controlled. As a result of this many scientists and health care workers are looking for a more holistic way of treating patients. In this way the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of the patient are met. This leads to the patient being in complete harmony with their environment (Shelly & Miller, 2006). As a result patients will not be thought of as just a disease but a whole person.

Today’s society consists of many worldviews. Most people tend to pull beliefs from different religions, but often stick to one main worldview. A worldview to me is the gathering of beliefs that shape what we do on a daily basis and forms our overall view on life. When I look at my beliefs critically, I am able to see my worldview and see how it compares to different worldviews, but also how it compares mainly to the Christian Worldview.

Postmodernism is a way of thinking this is when one denies the absolute truth, when they don't see right or wrong ,good or evil. They feel as if the truth comes from their personal experiences . Postmodernist denies ultimate reality as well as God and the fact that he is the reason that all things exist. Change can also be seen in the sculptures of The Boxer and The Old Market Woman as they are depicted to be imperfectly individualistic and in emotional distress.

What is a worldview? How does it influence our daily lives? A worldview is how we see reality. It influences the way we live our lives. It influences the way we interact with each other. A worldview is a belief system of who we are, why we are here, and what our destiny is.
