The first event “Mozart music” was in UW-Madison, school of music. I think the different languages of music can help me improve my listening skills. when I came to this event, I was surprised. A lot of old people were in music hall, and they were willing to pay 15 dollars in order to listen this music. I didn’t need to pay the money because I had a Wesli’s student ID. Students were free to join this musicale, but they didn’t like it. I also didn’t like it because I couldn’t understand what were they singing? I guess that the words of song were French. I got a content about this music . In this content, I found two languages about words of song: one is French (maybe), other is English that is a translate. However, the old people liked to hear …show more content…
First, we looked around the university, and she told me university has two different students: some of students liked to put off their homework or main class, so they didn’t have a good score. Most teachers didn’t accept late homework. Some of students finished their homework on time, but they didn’t have a high score. The exam is one important factor that leads students to get slow score. Therefore, university was a hard work. Second, she told me if I came to university, I had to improve skills of communication. In university, friendships and relationships were very important things that can help me …show more content…
Another one was the General Chemistry class, which was talking about water in chemistry and hydrolysis. In first lecture “Animal Biology,” the professor explained organization of animals and four kinds of animals: Porifera, Cnidaria, Ctenophora, and Acoelemorpha. He was speaking slowly and loudly, and students took notes and gave some their own opinions or questions in the class. The professor was more focusing on power point, and he put a lot of information on the power point because he was used many academic words. He tried to make a clear thinking. In second lecture, the speaker asked their students some questions. So students gave their own opinions actively. These classes are based around discussions of the material and teachers expect students to be engaged in this dialogue. As a result, the classroom was very noisy. In China, the class is quiet. Students do not always participate in the classroom because they cannot speak unless picked by the lecturer. This is because the purpose is to sit in the classroom to copy and memorize all the stuff that the instructor teaches. Then, they pasted it on the exam paper and got a good grade. It also means that less interaction exists between the lecturer and

When he was younger, he toured Europe with his father, Leopold, and his sister, Nannerl, playing for Europe’s elite of the time. He put forth some major musical contributions that shape modern music today (Fiero 324,326). Classical music is the great grandfather of all modern music. Some people enjoy
Growing up with a mother addicted to heroin and a dad he didn't know, things for Jarrett Krosoczka seemed hopeless. This is until his grandparents adopted him when he was three. They cared for him, supported him and helped him through school. Since he was young Jarrett had a passion for art and writing. This passion exploded into what it was when a famous children's author came to his elementary school. Jarret knew this is what he wanted to do with his life. It was his dream. This dream almost came to an end when the art program at his school slowly came to an end. Yet Jarrett’s grandparents found a way for Jarrett to following his dream. Jarrett started at a private school and took art class at a local museum. The private school had teachers that connected with Jarret. He was even convinced by his English teacher to do things for the newspaper and for the next three years he drew little pictures and wrote comics. His teachers told him to forget everything he learned so he would have his own style.

In late 2013, the Blue Ridge Orchestra was invited to be one of the featured ensembles in the Asheville Symphony’s Mozart festival – Asheville Amadeus. After discussions with ASO Executive Director David Whitehill, it was decided in February of 2014 that the BRO would present a Family Concert on March 21, 2015, the Saturday before the Finale concert with pianist Emanuel Ax. The challenge presented was to design a program that would appeal to both Mozart novices and Mozart aficionados.
Brahms was a lover of nature and would often take a walk in the woods around Vienna. To adults, Brahms was often blunt and sarcastic, and he sometimes stay away from other people. Those people who remained his friends were very loyal to him, however.
By age of twenty five Mozart decided to leave his hometown Salzburg and choose to become an independent performer. During this time worked hart and began to get public fame again.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is an amazing composers he wrote music and excelled in every way. This talented composer was born on January 27,1756 in Salzburg, archbishopric of Salzburg Austria. At a early age this composer talent for music was remarkable at the age of three he was picking chords on the harpsichord. At the age of four years old Mozart was playing short pieces of music. A year later when Mozart was five he started to compose music. He had a precise memory when it came to pitch years later at the age of eight Mozart wrote his first symphony. With this gift of music and composing Mozart began to travel all over Europe with his father. Mozart father was a violinist and a composer they started to play together between the ages of seven and Mozart spent half of his time on tour. While Mozart was on tour he heard a variety of sounds and developed his own mature sound.
On the 27th January, 1756 in Salzburg Austria, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born. He was the son of Leopold and Anna Maria Mozart and had an older sister Maria Anna. Every time I hear about famous composers, like Bach or Mozart, the names themselves put me to sleep quicker than any anesthesia ever could. So, it was no surprise that I absolutely dreaded the idea of seeing a piece written by any of these composers. I attended Mozart’s requiem at the Seattle symphony, I grunted at the idea of paying $38 for something I wasn’t even interested in. How dare they charge an absurd amount for something that was written before time itself? I took my seat and looked out at the sea of older retired couples and couldn’t believe this would be my fate someday. Ludovic Morlot was conducting for the evening, I have never heard the name in my life and only learned of it from the magazine I was handed before taking my seat. Morlot is French born musician, and currently the music director for the Seattle symphony.
The western classical concert that I have chosen to review is A Tale of Two Symphonies.
Mozart’s father Leopold decided to take Wolfgang Mozart and his sister Nannerl Mozart around Europe. When they went to Rome, Italy to a famous church Mozart heard a song that could only be heard in that church. After Mozart only listened to the song once, he memorized it and copied down on paper and played the song in public. Even though Mozart was smart he also had struggles like everyone else.
The interesting things that I learned about Wolfgang Mozart was that half of his symphonies that he created was between the age of eight and nineteen. He was given a nickname called “Wolfe”. It was funny to me that when he was a child he was afraid of the trumpet. When Mozart was performing in London when he was young, people could not believe that a young person like Mozart could be that talented, so they thought that he was dwarf. When he was fourteen, he performed Mitidate re di Panto and it was a successful performance for him. Mozart could understand the word of music but could not write words. Mozart spent most of his life traveling to perform his music. He wrote over 600 works and most of his writing that he did were pinnacis of symphonics,
"O, Mozart! Immortal Mozart!”- wrote Schubert in his diary (qtd. in Booth 93). He roused my admiration when I was young; he caused me to despair when I reached maturity; he is now the comfort of my old age- said Gioachino Rossini (qtd. in Archer). Mozart is sweet sunshine- said Dvorak during a lecture he gave at the Prague Conservatory (qtd. in Jacobson 164). These are just a few artists who admired this musical genius. Mozart’s music transcends the boundaries of time. Over 226 years after his death, the music he composed is played by operas and cultural centers all over the world. He is considered to be a musical genius and fully deserves the honor. He has earned the title with his dedication from the early age, his compositional masterpieces, and he continues to inspire and influence musicians today.
