I believe multitasking is not a myth because certain individuals are lack of inspiration or lack the desire to properly concur life success prime example, in today society or modern day certain people are going back to school while still working full time and proving for a growing family needs. Many people don’t believe in multitasking because they believe multitasking require is a fast paste environments and there are afraid to make a mistake or give up For me to be successful in this class just require time and desired that what life is all about without desired then there no motive to do well or pass the class for every action in life there is a positives or a negatives effect.

In class today, we did an activity and watched a Mythbusters video and the topic of the day: distraction. When we are distracted, some of us may know while others won’t know their being distracted. Multitasking may be useful in some cases but is proven to be inefficient. This is because our minds need to work on a specific task and if their not doing a specific task and is doing multiple things at once then we will work much slower than we expect. From the activity, we did in class, my partner and I had to do basic math with the following conditions: no distractions, saying the ABC’s and saying in reverse order of what we ate for the last two days.We also had to time ourselves to see how quick we could do it and then our results would be placed
Have you ever wondered if you could multitask efficiently. Well most likely you can’t. Mostly all teenagers can’t multitask effectively because their brains might not develop correctly,they could get bad grades,and they could not be able to sort out words in their brains. My first reason why multitasking is bad is because it will not improve nor develop a smarter more efficient brain. Studies show that when teens are multitasking they usually Don't do what they're supposed to do if they think they can get screen time while doing homework or studying they would pay more attention to the t.v. instead of the paper or book.
Doing difficult tasks at the same time can overwhelm our brain’s ability to process information, hurting the quality of our work. Multitasking is a verb that means ”to do more than one action at one given time” and it has negative effects. Multitasking is bad because it is harder to understand, you become less social, and it is altogether unproductive.
What you view as harmless multitasking affects your efficiency because our brains have cognitive limits. According to “How to Do One Thing at a Time” published by Women’s Health Magazine, Clifford Nass, Ph.D., a professor at Stanford University performed an experiment on a group of students. A group of students was asked to spend 30 minutes to compile a playlist, chat, and write a short essay. Another group of students spent 10 minutes focusing on each task individually. After they completed their tasks, they were given a memory test. Professor Nass concluded that single-taskers did significantly better on the memory test than multi-taskers.

The first negitive effect is stated on cnn.com, when you are multitasking it could take you longer to do two projects then to do them sepretly, you wont do nearly as good while doing two projects at the same time as you would doing one at a time. This shows you should work on one thing at a time if you want to get the projects done. Or, if you wanted to do them both at the same time you can take your time on both of the projects and you could think before you mess up the projects.

Multitasking is becoming very significant on the workplace to complete the task in less time. In fact, some people believe that multitasking saves time and can be done at all together. On the other hand, some people think that it is a distracting activity which leads to a lack of concentration. According to David Silverman, “In Defense of Multitasking”, multitasking is “crucial to survival in today’s workplace” (522). However, I do not agree because multitasking reduces productivity, increases stress levels and it is, especially, problematic for students.
