Accomplishments often mark a new step in an area of your life. Whether it may be in your education, childhood, and more. One event that helped my transition from child to young adult was when I promoted the eighth grade. It was a formal promotion in which I got to dress up and accept a piece of paper that said I was entering high school. This accomplishment stands out for me because it symbolized that I was no longer a little girl. My school promotion was very exciting and a moment of pure joy. I remember all my family from Colorado coming to California to watch me enter into high school and to see my sister graduate high school the next day. That day I sung with my choir class as I went an arts academy. At first, I was unsure how high school
There is no other place that would make me work this hard at everything I do, but now I know I could do it. Before being an MEHS student, I relied in only my grades, but getting those good grades with such simplicity was bringing me nowhere. After hearing about Mt. Edgecumbe I was scared that I could not make it up there. After two years of being a student there, I understand that succeeding at Mt. Edgecumbe is no simple task, but it could be done by someone who truly give it everything they have. Although this would be one of he most streaneus accomplishments I had ever achieved, I know I that I could do it if given the
My single biggest accomplishments that i have achieved, is graduating from middle school and starting a new phase in my life, this is inportant to me because i have turned from a boy to a man. I have also learned priceless lessons and values from the people around me that helped me become who i am. It helped me be defined as someone else and not just a shell of a person going through school, what i do now defines the life i have, and will forever be me. I said goodbye to me elementary and middle school teachers that inpacted my life
When I was a freshman my dad had an affair and a baby with another woman. That has been one of my biggest struggles to get through. I have had many accomplishments in sports. I have won many zone championships along with state championships. I have been awarded top softball catcher in my division a couple times. Along with sports I am also very efficient in my schooling as
An accomplishment or event that marked my transition from childhood to adulthood was being accepted to the Alpha Kappa Alpha Debutante Cotillion. The Alpha Kappa Alpha Debutante Cotillion is a six month program for ladies that are juniors or seniors in high school in order to equip and stimulate them to pursue higher education, academic excellence, and personal development. While doing the program, thirty-four other girls and I attend educational workshops, activities, community service outings, and rehearsals. At the end of the six months, the members of the program attend an elegant ball where we are presented to the community and awarded a scholarship.
Our team practice everyday for 2 hours and our record was 23-1. We were the first team ever to win in our age division to ever win for St.Mary’s. We had a hard time in the beginning of the season. One of our best players injured her knee. She was running towards the loose ball and her knee twisted. She was out for the rest of the season. Looking back on it made me better because I learned how hard you to to practice or try to achieve your goal.
For this I also took the challenge of learning everything I could and build on my knowledge. Throughout my life there has being several achievements that I am proud of just like any other person but their is one I am most proud of. It was a little before high school that I made a major decision that changed my life forever, my life took a new course.. It was one of those situations that you never expect, I had being accepted to this new program in the district called Early College Academy. This program gave the opportunity to students to be able to take high school classes while taking college credits, with the opportunity of getting their Associate’s Degree with their high school diploma. This was not just a great opportunity for me but it was also a gift, the district was paying for my higher education. As I set myself in this journey I grew up mentally and started to act as a college student, also, I learned to be on top of my classes and go a mile further in what I did. Although, I also encounter new struggles, for example, I was expected to pass a college level test when I was barely starting high
My major accomplishments will be regarded as reaching out to the professional Hockey league. To reach out to my goal, I would have to work and train hard or I will not make it. Also that would include missing out on hanging out with my friends, going to parties, and avoiding circumstance were drinking, or drugs come in place, because both of those would end my career.
When I was but a boy, I had excelled in plenty of things in life. I had excelled both in the classroom and on the field. As well as maintaining an A average I held the title of star athlete in football, skating, and gymnastics. There was even talk about me continuing my educational career at Yale. However, once a damaging game of hockey occurred one winter knocking out most of my upper teeth, my life took an unexpected halt. For weeks, an ghastly pain resided in my jaw and false teeth were also being fitted.
I have achieved many accomplishments in my lifetime, but there is one in particular that really sticks out the most. Being on the academic team is my biggest accomplishment. I have played baseball my whole life, and I’m sure most people think of me as a jock. This essay will show that I am more than just an athlete, I’m an academic too.
My innate abilities, interests and inclination gave me many an achievement and ensured my continued professional growth. At Wipro Technologies, where I started my career, I was initially put to work independently on two products, which later increased to three more. Working on complex tasks and under tight deadlines, I was able to apply my skills to successfully execute every work assigned, as well as learn a lot from the diverse experiences. I worked closely with teammates from diverse cultural backgrounds and utilized every opportunity to acquire knowledge to keep myself updated at all times. I, therefore, took the initiative of conducting knowledge sharing sessions for my team, which later encompassed several other teams, as well.
In the future I aim to make myself and others who support me proud of my accomplishments. The only way to do this is to fulfill my educational goals first. I must pursue my degree in my field of choice then I can proceed to acquiring a career. This is where I will be giving my service to my country. I plan to major in Intelligence and National Security Studies. Charles Hamilton Houston once said “Without education, there is no hope for our people and without hope, our future is lost.” Higher level education is becoming essential in obtaining high level occupations and that is what I wish to pursue. When I obtain this degree, I will be ahead of the people who are attempting to go into my field because I will already have obtained prerequisite
A moment in my life that stands out as an especially positive experience is when I graduated high school. The day occurred on June 15, 2015 at the Jiffy Lube live arena stage in my hometown of Manassas, Virginia. The people involved in this positive experience were myself, my mother, father, sister, family friends, my friends, administrators, teachers, and peers. I woke up in the morning around 9:00 am, showered, got dressed packed all of my essentials for my graduation, and drove to one of my friend’s house where all of my friends and I got ready for graduation. My friends and I spent several hours getting ready, taking, photos for our family members before our ceremony. Then we went to the graduation location and waited for an hour in our designated spots for when walk out. The ceremony began at 7:00, the speakers spoke for about 30 minutes, then names were called. My named was called early on, I walked across the stage, my mom calling my name out, I smiled to her as I spotted her in the crowd. Then I shook the hands of the administrators, received my diploma and walked of the stage. On this day I was thinking about how I was finally going to finish my four year long journey. At that point every choice I had made in my academic career led to this moment of accomplishment. I was also thinking of how it was a long process to get to my graduation day and that walking across the stage not only would be positive for me, but for others who were important to me and a
To some an achievement would mean an award or an accomplishment they could be proud of. An achievement for me goes beyond that idea. My biggest achievement is the positive contribution I gave to people in need around my neighborhood, and also the comfort I give to my parents because of my independence, which also helped me find my passion in life.
Success is oftentimes viewed as the end product. What I learned while achieving my greatest achievement this past baseball season, is that success is measured by what I did to achieve my great accomplishment. It took hard work that started in the early offseason. My team was heavily motivated to work for our legendary coach, Tom Jenk, who had been diagnosed with brain cancer. It took lots of hard work throughout the season as well, but we were able to do by having such strong team spirit. We finally had the chance we had been working for all year. In the end, we were finally able to call ourselves State Champions. This successful work and spirit throughout the season is what gave me my greatest achievement, winning a baseball state
During my life, I have had many accomplishments and received a number of awards like being awarded for exceptional grades and coming in the top 5th percentile throughout my primary and secondary education, being awarded certificates in my extracurricular activities and many school competitions, getting to the semifinal stage of God’s children got talent- a nationwide event where different children come forth and display their different talents (mine was playing the guitar and singing), winning medals and trophies in field and track events like soccer, 100m races, and Relay races, being the best graduating student in my program at my post-secondary school. But, I will tell you the truth I cannot call them as my great accomplishments.
