I have achieved many accomplishments in my lifetime, but there is one in particular that really sticks out the most. Being on the academic team is my biggest accomplishment. I have played baseball my whole life, and I’m sure most people think of me as a jock. This essay will show that I am more than just an athlete, I’m an academic too. When I was in the sixth grade, I moved to a new school and joined my first academic bowl team. It was a new experience for me. I was an outsider coming into this new group. Everyone thought I was just another dumb athlete, but I knew I had brains, too. After trying out I was very nervous, because I really wanted to make the team. Not only did I make the team, but I also earned the honor of being named Team
My successes have primarily been in the area of curriculum and instructional design. Many of my accomplishments have been centered around my abilities to develop or gather resources for students, parents, teachers, and other campus administration. I have constantly exhibited myself as a learner from becoming a curriculum specialist in my certified content areas or in innovative instructional practices. By observing areas of need on particular campuses and enhancing my knowledge to assist the campus as changing agent towards the outlined improvement plans. By developing or assisting in improving teaching, discipline, parental involvement, special needs, test-taking, or leadership roles the knowledge and confidences of all leveled learners and
As a senior in high school, I believe that I have personally accomplished some important milestones throughout school. However, I am still not fully satisfied with where I stand academically. With finishing up senior year, I am working to graduate with an Academic Honors diploma and obtain the “Core 30” to go into college with 30 credit hours.
My major accomplishments will be regarded as reaching out to the professional Hockey league. To reach out to my goal, I would have to work and train hard or I will not make it. Also that would include missing out on hanging out with my friends, going to parties, and avoiding circumstance were drinking, or drugs come in place, because both of those would end my career.
One of my major accomplishments in life is having perfect attendance since the fifth grade. I consider this an accomplishment because it takes a lot of commitment and effort to not miss a day of school for eight years. Also before I lived with my aunt in North Carolina I hardly ever went to school. I was always given the option to just lay out when I lived with my father, but my aunt gave me discipline which I desperately needed. It is important to always be at school because it shows that you are willing to commit.
Numerous people like George Washington, Michael Jordan, and Dr. Martin L. King Jr have had major accomplishments that helped achieve a goal to change their future in a certain way. Moreover, accomplishments have great importance in one’s life. They help improve one’s self-esteem, also, they give encouragement to succeed and achieve a goal.
In sixth grade I tried out for the football team which was pretty scary for me because I wasn’t very big and I had never played football before and my family didn’t watch football so I didn’t even know what a down was. My dad wanted me to play and I wanted to learn how to play football, so I tried out. After I learned the basics, the coach normally put me in wide receiver or corner and I had to work hard because I had
I have dirty blonde hair and the shades of blonde and brown depend on the season, deep dark brown eyes, a long soft symmetrical nose, and small round, slightly outward facing ears, and full prominent lips. I'm tall and skinny, with long and lanky arms and legs, I have defined muscles and bony shoulders. I am an extrovert, I am compassionate, intelligent, witty, occasionally sarcastic, athletic, fun loving, adventurous. I am self critical, disorganized, and scatterbrained. I like to play tennis, soccer, basketball. I enjoy sailing, fishing, and paddling. I am a part of Battle of the Books and Quiz Bowl. Most accomplishments are academic awards throughout my school career. I've become taller, more athletic, and more determined.
I have several notable accomplishments in both my education and my work experience. One of the most notable accomplishments seemed to be around my internship past summer. I joined the tech development team and from that point of time transformation started happening, I started learning about various technologies and develop the website with my team and from that summer training experience I got an offer for creating a website and make that a brand. I successfully created the website and the brand on time. The company had received positive reviews and leads from customers after going through website and its
I was born in Medford, Oregon, on 20 August 1978. The first few years of my life were spent with my grandparents and my mother. When I was five, my mother travled to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend Business School. For the next seven years I lived off and on with her, traveling between Oregon and Utah. At the age of 12 I traveled to Sterling, Virginia to live with my Aunt Shannon and Uncle Kent. Kent was a very focused man who worked for the government. After my freshman year was complete, my aunt and uncle moved to Greece for work, and I moved back to Salt Lake City. I started my sophmore year, and began taking up residence with family friends Paul and Michelle. Paul is a practiced engineer by trade but was also employed by various jobs to include
Of all my accomplishments, there are three in which I take the most pride. The first is earning the Boy Scout rank of Eagle at the young age of 15. Considering only about 4% of boys in America join scouts and only 5% of those who join ultimately earn this coveted rank, I am proud of doing so.
In the summer after 6th grade I was playing on an aau basketball team based out of Mason City. The team had tryouts and there were about 30 kids that tried out, so I knew that there would be two teams. I waited patiently for a couple of days and I learned that I made the elite team. I was really excited to travel around the midwest and play basketball all summer! I thought I was a really good player locally but never had seen the amount of other good players just in the midwest.
Some of my best work accomplishments include being top spiff performer, and 90% quality assurance at my current position. I was a high demand substitute at 10 different schools in my last position, and I was promoted to Administration duties within 6months, achieving an average of 80-90% in quality assurance, and created morale boosting activates.
Now, as a ghost, I can look back at all the things I have done in the past. My accomplishments, my failures, my good things, and my not so good things. In my younger days, my resume was very short, but as I grew older it was not so trivial and incomplete. It began to germinate. I think that my greatest accomplishment was getting to be the second-hand man to the emperor. It meant everything to me. It had been my dream since a very young age. To at least be important, and not so ordinary. Another accomplishment is all the voyages I led. Whenever I alighted from the boat, I felt that I had a place in this community. What is so important to me, is the trace that I left behind. The stories that would be told about me needed
It is hard to answer the question as to the greatest thing I have accomplished in my life. This is because I have some accomplishments that may impress others, but the greatest accomplishment to me would have to be becoming a good daughter, friend, fiance, and overall person. This is because in the past I was a very selfish person who always put myself first. I had some other bad qualities too. It took me a awhile to realize how my actions effected others around me. Once I did I was able make changes about myself. I feel very accomplished when i think about who I used to be and who I am now.
My first varsity practice was way different than i expected. It was a slower past the freshman but way more complicated to me. After the practice Coach Dodd told me I would dress varsity. My reaction was mellow but in the inside i was so excited i didn’t know what to do. I went home and told my mom and called my dad. I don’t think anybody was excited as i was. I knew I would have to go 110% to compete with all the upperclassmen.
