So far, this quarter has had its ups, and its downs, all in all it as been really good for most of my classes. Some things that I have been doing well this quarter would be that I'm coming to school everyday and I show up to my classes willing to learn. If I were to say that I was't struggling with anything would be preposterous because I'm not infallible so there are some things that I'm struggling with this quarter. Like trying to keep up with my homework, and some classes I'll get bored and instead of doing work I'll end up going on my phone to play some games or something like that. I feel the main reason that I'm having a hard time keeping up with my homework is because I am a very big procrastinator, I could get an assignment a year
2. Again, review the DFDs you developed for the Petrie's Electronics case. (I have placed the level 1 diagrams in the Project Workbook - Week 3 folder in doc sharing, use your homework solution for the Record Customer Activities level 1) .
The five-minute warning bell goes off. I rush to my first class of my junior year, eager to see my classmates, who I was going to spend the rest of the 9 months with. I find myself stumbling into a classroom plastered with decorations of Denzel Washington with a Dr. Seuss book in his hand, a t and college flags galore. My AP English 11 class suddenly seemed so appealing to me. As a beautiful, curly haired short lady stood in front of me and said “Welcome to AP English 11,” I knew that I had found a treasure so much greater than just a pretty classroom. Little did I know, that short lady was going to inspire me throughout my challenge filled second-to-last year of high school.
The first quarter is always the hardest for me, this one especially as I work a lot after school. Being senior year I was looking to take an easy route, but instead I took hard classes to keep challenging myself; looking back now I should have taken the easy route. The biggest struggle has been finding time to work in homework after work, getting my work in on time, and I’m looking to improve my quality of work for the next quarter.
I have attached a copy of my high school transcript with the courses and grades I have received throughout my last two years at Anacortes High School. This semester, I am taking ASB Leadership, Strength and Conditioning, Drama 3, Pre-Calc, AP Environmental Science, AP Literature and Composition, and Teacher's Aide for Mr. Thompson. My favorite classes I have taken at AHS are Honors World Religions and ASB Leadership. Honors World Religions is one of my favorite classes because it challenges you to think differently than any other class does. It not only talks about religious history, but also current world issues that involve religion. This class is said to be one of the hardest classes at AHS, but it is also the most interesting class I have
Is there ever an instance when a M.Ed. cohort student does not have to take EDUC 635? I have had 2 students, 1 reading and 1 C&I, call to ask if they need to take 635. The C&I student said his professor talked about 630 being different for those taking 635 and those not. The reading student said 635 did not show on her advising sheet, which it does on all the advising sheets I have. The first time I was asked the question, I assumed there was some confusion with the professor, but when I got the same question twice in 2 days it made me wonder if I had missed something.
The of the new semester I did not know what to expect because building or constructing stuff was never my expertise. Towards the end of fall semester I did contribute to the the play layout more than ever by designing the Corny Collins sign that is currently used in the play Hairspray. I did not know because last semester I was never involved with the construction of anything and I did not know about this new semester. I started off the semester not good because Dr. Sannah caught me not doing work sometimes, but he did not know that I was already done with my work. He wanted students to be more involved in this year play than las semesters and I wanted to contribute more in this play than last semester.
MCO Wanda stated she was making relief at Colorado/5th. As she was making relief she heard a loud noise. The bus was at stand still at the bus stop.
I plan on ensuring that I will satisfy all future University Honors requirements by being more diligent about putting honors events into my calendar and making time for them. I believe that after this quarter I will not have the same problems because I know how to do my job and I am familiar with the course load now that I have taken my first quarter of organic chemistry, biology, and physics together. This quarter has also made me realize that I can benefit from attending counseling at Counseling and Psychological Services so that I can manage my stress better. It has also taught me that I need to be more adaptable with my approach to time management than I was in the past and that there is a better way to balance my life and achieve the grades
I am really proud that I have improved in maths, socratic, comprehension strategies, running the track and cybersafety. The areas of maths that I’ve improved most in is data, division, percentages and problem solving. I’ve improved Socratic as I find it easier to come up with topics and I have been speaking more in Socratic discussions as in two sessions I've talked 5 times. Literacy Circles has helped me get better at some of the comprehension strategies such as summarising, connections and main idea, I have also improved on cause and effect. Running nearly every day has not only helped me to keep fit but improve my running skills as now I can run the track without stopping easily. Gmail and budd-e has helped me become more cyberwise on technology.
The stent is inserted into the artery by balloon angioplasty, to expand the vessel walls in order to return blood flow back to normal. There are two types of stents, bare-metal stents and drug-eluting stents. Once a BMS is inserted into the vessel, it become fully endothelialized.. However, The animation explains that in about 1/3 of BMS implants, restenosis occurs. On the other hand DES were developed to combat this issue. The polymer coating on the DES contains a drug which aids in the inhibition of restenosis. However, the endothelialization process for drug-eluting stents has shown to be problematic, which can in time cause stent thrombosis, which can possibly lead to myocardial infarction. It is important to note that these stents should be used in patients how do not have complex coronary stenosis because the off-label use is not completely understood and has a higher risk of
The English Department at Parsippany High School is known for Mrs. Sanchez’s Honors English 3 class. Through the first week of school, I found out that the class is notorious in PHS because of the tough demands and work load that would be placed on me. First, an essay on 1984 hit me, then a project on Tess of the D’Urbervilles, and then we went right into reading Beowulf. I had no idea that the class was going to be as hard as people actually said it was. However, I stood undeterred with any assignment that would come my way, as I was mentally prepared and took on everything with the best of my abilities. Even though I did not succeed in some cases, I did not let that bring me down, and continued to focus on the greater skills I would develop
The tone of the paragraphs 10-12 is humorous. For example, in paragraph 10 "There was a roar of laughter in the courtroom." because the lawyer thought he could grow cooked corn The author uses dialogue and figurative speech such as the metaphor in paragraph 11 when the judge asked, '"Sir, have you lost your mind?".
I’m having a very difficult time with my school work right now. It’s getting to that time of the school year where I think I can slack. I have been on honor roll the past three quarters and I feel I’m slipping down the slippery slope. I feel I’m only stressing about this because there is only a few more weeks till the year ends and there’s not enough time to get my grades up.
I have always moved around withthe military, I've been to a different school every year since I was only eight years old. In highschool, It wasn't untill my third high school in Indianapolis, Indiana that I held afterschool touturing for an hour every other day. Me along with a few other students that were more advanced in our classes helped other classmates with homework, classwork and studing. Starting on Monday, we would meet in the ALC or the Advanced Learning Center and we would all be in our different groups or subjects we were good at. For me, I'm really good with World History, US History and Government. On any day we would get 10-12 students in each group where they were able to ask the group as a whole their questions, study, play
What should a third grader know how to do? What abilities and problem solving skills can third grader do? The national standards give us a nice template of what we should be teaching a third grader and what they should be able to accomplish by the end of their third-grade year, but the standards lack the ability to show me what it would look like in the classroom. When sorting out the samples, I was hesitant about putting the samples into categories, I just don’t think in those ways. I take a very holistic approach (look at the whole child) when it comes to evaluating my students. I take in account who my student is and what they have accomplish within a certain amount of time. I had no background knowledge of the kids I was ask to evaluate. So, the evaluation I give is
