My educational goals have been clear for years. Freshman year of high school, I fell in love with genetics and all the possibilities of helping with it. I didn’t even know what kind of jobs existed in the genetics field, but I knew I would do whatever job that got me helping people. Junior and senior year when I was looking for colleges, I was shocked and almost devastated when I discovered that only one university in Texas offered a genetics major and that I would have to go out of state if I didn’t get accepted there. Luckily, I got accepted and I’m on my way there. Finally, being in college has helped me discover more about what jobs are available to me and the job I want is to be a genetics counselor. Graduate school for genetics counseling
I plan on attending either Hastings College or the University of Nebraska-Kearney in the fall to further my education after high school. Doing well in school has always been a huge priority in my life. I plan to major in Genetics because I love to be able to work in a lab where I can learn new things daily and help others. Ever since I was little I was in love with science, so I feel like that is why I started to gravitate towards genetics more when I started high school. I felt like I had a connection with the field in that I was meant to do something involving science in my life. The next step in my career plan consists of mainly going to school to get my degree in Biology and then continuing on to Grad school for another few years. After I complete my schooling I will be searching for a job pertaining to genetics. The main goal for my future would have to be, being able to work with children and families who are struggling with genetic
Long term goal: Graduate Timken Early College High School(TECHS) with an Associates degree from Stark State College in four years. (Including freshman year).
Ever since I was young, I was exposed to a Historically Black College or University, Jackson State University. I had always went to activities and functions such as football games, summer programs, and other special events. I did not know whether I would attend a historically Black College or University (HBCU) or not at the time. I had finally decided to go to a HBCU, and I would attend Tougaloo College in the fall to further my education. I have many goals and objectives for pursing my educational experience at a historically Black College, and I plan to achieve them.
As of right now, I feel like i'm in a very good spot starting out my senior year. I feel comfortable with where I stand dealing with my grades. My goal is to maintain my optimum study habits throughout the entire school year. This will put me on a good track to getting into colleges. Although I feel good about how my school year is going, I know theres always room for improvements. With that being said, the biggest thing I hope to improve on, is getting a 4.0 GPA on my report cards. I have yet to accomplish this, and it has been my long-term goal since freshman year. This goal is very important to me and it wont be something I will relinquish so easily.
My freshmen year, I have many goals that I would love to achieve. Now that I am in high school, sports are more important than in middle school. Being watched by recruiters and making it to state are both possibilities in high school. However, grades come before everything, and graduating with a 4.0 G.P.A., could mean scholarships to many school. I will have to take my studies more seriously because what happens now, could determine my future. Even though this year is going to be hard for me, I am going to achieve my goals by keeping focus on them and work hard until I accomplish them. My goals this year are to be healthier, excel in sports, and finish freshmen year with a 4.0 GPA.
1. My goals, upon graduating from Westside High School, is to have an Associate’s Degree, a High School Degree, excellent writing and communication skills, and other skills (math, science, etc.). One of the more important goals of mine, other than education, is to have excellent communication skills. 2. Ap World History, for the most part, was easy for me, but some work was required.
During my freshman year i have accomplished many goals. A few of my goals was to learn basic life support such as CPR, BVM, and Medical Assessing. These goals were not completed in my course introduction to Health Technology they were complete during a EMT course in Danbury Hospital, But if it wasn’t for Health Technology I would’ve had a harder time understanding a lot of the procedures, terminology, and theory. One of my overall goals is to become a Medical Doctor which requires four years in medical school and then complete 3-7 years of residency training, before eligible for medical licensing.
My future academic goals for junior high is to promote as a CJSF member and to earn a GPA of a 3.5 or above. During my two years of Washington I want to remain in the AVID program. AVID has helped me in many different ways, for example it has showed me how to keep organized, take Cornell notes, be responsible, and how to strive for my goals. As a high school student I want to maintain a GPA of a 3.5 or higher as well. For my four years in high school, I would like to also be an AVID member. As I graduate from high school, I would like to graduate as an honor student. After high school, I would like to attend the Colorado State University. In the University of Colorado
There is a saying in society “if you are poor you will stay poor.” The United States have said “You have the freedom of changing your classification in your social status.” People close to me have said “as long as it’s something you want, anything is possible.” With the given information, the choice I’ve made was to change my written destiny and make my mark on earth. The path I am willing to take isn’t to benefit my life, but to give back the people who gave me everything I could ever ask for.
For the next several years, I have set different goals for myself. I have set educational goals for high school and college, professional goals for a future career, and personal goals to improve me as a person. Setting goals allows me to focus on what I am working toward. Having a plan will help me achieve my goals. By working hard and staying on the right track, I am going to meet my goals.
Goals are a great way to plan your future, what you want to do or be when you grow up, if you want to go to college and what college, and how you would get there and accomplish these goals from where you are right now.
Graduating with my bachelor’s degree excites me the most. It has been one of my major goals for so long and now I am finally working toward making it a reality. I have worked hard to get to this point in my life. And thank God for where I am today. Looking back to when I was scammed by a diploma mill and lost several hundred dollars. I thought it would never happen for me. And then I earned my high school diploma and enrolled into college.
William Jennings Bryan once said, “Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved [sic].” From the time I was able to read and write, I have spent my time trying to get where I am now: a senior in high school planning my path for college. With college approaching so soon, I have had to make the decision of what I want to in my future. Since I will be doing it for the rest of my life, I have to pick something that I will not only be good at, but also love and enjoy. Life will not just hand me whatever I need to be successful; therefore, I will have to work for it. As a young adult getting ready to enter the part of life referred to as the real world, I am dedicating my time and effort to preparing a path of success that will help me reach my goal of graduating from Louisiana State University (LSU) and becoming a physician assistant (PA).
All throughout school, students are ask what we want to be when we grow up. Many of us know or have a pretty good idea, but others have no clue what they want to pursue as a career in life, whether it be furthering their education at a university or attending a technical school. There are other students that plan to start work right out of high school. Either way we all have a plan, and the purpose of this paper is to inform you of mine. I personally struggle in making big decisions like deciding what to do with my life, but then I realized I have been asking myself the wrong questions. Instead of asking what I want to be when I grow up, I asked myself what do I want out of life? what are some of my goals that I wish to achieve? This led
Personal experience is away you go through things without knowing it at first, but after all…..you could say you have experienced it, rather you wanted to or not. Finishing school is one of my biggest goals. Not just for me but for my parents. I want to make my Mother and Father proud. Show them they’ve did their job as a parent and raising a successful child that knows more than what I knew better. My 12 grade year of high school. I went to a school called , Jordan Christen Prep. They’ve told me their was an accredit high school. They could help me reach my goals and graduate (ON TIME) and also get my where I need to be . Instead none of those things weren’t true. Before I known those things …. I was pushing myself, working harder, harder , even harder, very hard to get finished .When I found out they wasn’t an accredit school my mom was quick to ask the school for my withdrawal papers. She took me to Winter Haven High School , as im enrolling
