Long term goal: Graduate Timken Early College High School(TECHS) with an Associates degree from Stark State College in four years. (Including freshman year). When setting a long term goal you should think about four important factors. Is it specific? It is measurable? Is it challenging? And is it realistic? It’s also good to think about a few short term goals that will help you complete your long term goal. For instance, to Graduate TECHS with an associates degree, I would need to maintain a good GPA. I can work on getting an A in each class on my reports cards, which would lead to a good GPA, which would lead back to my Long term goal of Graduating with an Associate's degree. Two of the four important factors are is it specific and is it
The most important long range goal I have ever had was to graduate high school. This has been one of my goal's throughout my career as a student. It has been my main goal because I will be the only child of my mother's to graduate from high school. My mother has always pushed me to my best and has always told me to reach for the stars with this goal, because she did not want me to get a GED like she did. My education goals consist of learning something new every day. Throughout my educational career as a student there were major and minor bumps in the road, yet my goal of being able to receive a high school diploma kept me thriving to accomplish it. Now as the last few months of school wind down closer and closer to graduation my heart grows
My long-term goal is to go to college. I will need to finish high school with good grades. I will also need to prepare a plan to pay for the college of my choice.
My primary goal for going to school is to be able to make my family proud and do something beneficial with my degree.
I have three short term goals firstly, I would like to graduate high school with honors. Next, I would like to get a job this summer to gain some work experience. Lastly, I want to one day do an internship that coincides with my major in the near future. As for my long term goals, I would like to graduate for college with a major in Biology and at the top of my class. I want to also
All throughout school, students are ask what we want to be when we grow up. Many of us know or have a pretty good idea, but others have no clue what they want to pursue as a career in life, whether it be furthering their education at a university or attending a technical school. There are other students that plan to start work right out of high school. Either way we all have a plan, and the purpose of this paper is to inform you of mine. I personally struggle in making big decisions like deciding what to do with my life, but then I realized I have been asking myself the wrong questions. Instead of asking what I want to be when I grow up, I asked myself what do I want out of life? what are some of my goals that I wish to achieve? This led
My first goal is to get my Associate’s degree from TCC. In addition, to that I will be transfer to Langston
Without writing them down, they would only be notions and most likely would only achieve ideas, not goals. As a result, I have written down the goals I spoke of above and will reach them. Meeting other people in my career field, becoming a well rounded individual, and receiving my mechanical engineer degree are important to my future. With these goals, I will attain my educational goals at the University of California, Los Angeles and it will set me up to accomplish my personal career aspirations that I have set for my future. Furthermore, if I keep on track, my future will look bright and I will have an exciting life in the years to come. Therefore, I will achieve the goals that I have set forth for the growth of my
My goals for after high school, is to got to Greenville Tech. I have different ideas of what I want to do for my career. I have a lot of plans after high school career-wise. My goal for sure, is to finish college, but there is so much to study,
As an Early College High School student, we were told that from day one as a freshman we had to know what we wanted to study and do for the rest of our lives. Middle school didn’t exactly prepare us for that type of environment, let alone have us decide what our future career would be. At fifteen I was still figuring out myself, and I’m glad I took the time to do that first. I might not have known then, but after all the training and experience the last three years of my life has given me I definitely know now. It takes more than just a thought to create a passion, it takes experience and knowing oneself. I found my passion, it was a burning desire to study in the field of nursing.
-My short term goal is to continue to do well in my courses in order to graduate and be able to move onto graduate school.
My long term goal is to be a Real Estate Mogul. I want to be a Real Estate Mogul because I would like working on houses and then selling them. This goal is important to me because it will allow me to buy my dream car and live a comfortable life.. The relationship between school and this job is that I would need to have a Business degree. In order to do that I need to do well in math, reading and writing classes.
This goal is two parts, studying more is not set too high or too low because assignments are consistent and it is my responsibility to keep on top of them. As for graduating, this one is long term but I feel it is an important academic goal to me because it keeps my eye on the prize. I will benefit from this goal because if I study more that leads to good grades, then I can graduate and take my knowledge from school and apply it to my career and my life.
As a prospective Biology major and Veterinarian, I hope to gain experience working with plants and animals in the field of Biology and consider internships with veterinarians. I plan to put my experience and qualifications to use by applying for an accredited veterinary college. Upon acceptance, I will strive towards earning a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM). If I do not gain acceptance into a veterinary medicine program, then I will steer myself more towards the forensic science fields. A degree and certification in veterinary medicine is appealing and preferable to me. However, to keep my options open, the field of forensic science and crime scene investigations will serve as
Upon entering high school, I made a goal to myself: I wanted to become a better version of myself, realizing my own strengths and weaknesses and, ultimately, preparing to be a part of a completely different atmosphere beyond high school and even college. From the beginning, I knew I was going to find a way to improve academically, as a member of Kingsway’s STEM Academy and Superintendent’s List throughout my high school career. However, I would never think that I, as an eighth grader, would ultimately rise above my classmates, eventually being third in my class freshman year and still enjoying the rigor of taking as many AP and Honors classes as I possibly could fit in my schedule. By being recognized and awarded for my achievements, I finally realized that being this type of student, one that strives to do the best and remains self-motivated no matter what difficulties are faced, gives me a purpose as student and overall enjoyment.
I have learned that it is very important to set long and short term goals for myself. I have also learned the difference between the two. A long term goal is around a year long and a short term is well less than a year. For example; my present long term goal is my associates degree. My short term goal is to complete my assignments along with my daily
