Everyone has a story. Some people can tell their lives, and it sounds like an adventurous packed children's book. Others can tell their story and make it sound like an academy award winning romance movie. Every story is Unique and special. My story, I would say, is a tale of hard work, ambition, and love. When I pass, I will still have a story, a legacy in my name to live on. My full name is Haley Anika Brazel. Every Single unique name in the word has a different meaning. Together my name means a graceful and strifeful meadow of hay. My first name, Haley, comes from odd english and means meadow of hay. My middle name, which is by far my favorite name is, Anika. Anika, comes from latin origins and means graceful. My last name, comes from Irish origins, and means strife. Anyone who knows me, will know, I am not very graceful and I am usually not strifeful. I am not usually caught dancing or strolling through meadows of hay, so I would say my name strays from my personality. By far, my favorite name is Anika. When I was a baby my mother asked my sister what I should be named. My sister was only five at the time, so she picked a barbie princess she loved. My mom liked the name so she named me Haley and made my middle name Anika. Since my sister has passed, I take comfort in the fact, my middle name was given to me by her. If I would have been born as a boy, my parents would have named me Conner. Conner is my little brothers name, so they did get to use it eventually.
The struggle to find one's identity is a universal theme that is especially prevalent in Chaim Potok's novel, My Name Is Asher Lev. As an Orthodox Jew, Asher's gift for art is looked upon very unfavorably. Despite the disapproval of his community and father and the pain his art causes those around him, he pursues his passion and must find a way to reconcile the conflict between his religious identity and his individual identity.
In my opinion my name is the definition of change. Usually you can google your new girlfriend’s name and it tends to give you the correct personality for the majority of Lauren’s but I think all Katherine’s are unique . although it is not one of those names that nobody else can pronounce but them and their moms. I still believe my parents took their time to choose the name Katherine. Some people call me Kathy, or Morgan though. I guess that’s just them being lazy. Like my parents are always calling me Kathy sometimes they forget who I am and they call me by one of my sisters’ names . Most of the time they only call me Katherine when I am in trouble.
My name is Victoria Allen. I am 14 years old. Everyone has a story to tell. The definition of story is an account of past events in someone’s life or in the evolution of something. This is my story.
Growing up, I did not like my name because I strongly believed it was too short and awkward sounding. I did not see how the name Nadia could be pleasing to the ear or likable at all. The worse part, I thought, was not having a nickname to hide my
Most people have a story about how their parents decided on their name, especially those of us who have less common ones. Mine is fairly dry; my parents looked through a book of names and decided that “Maizie” was charming and sweet and would fit me well. My sister’s story, however, is slightly more intriguing. Cleo Arden Seidl, born on August 3rd of 2001, was named by me, Maizie Regan Seidl, when I was just two years and nine months old.
To produce this book, I asked not “What you are going to name your baby?”, but rather “What is your name? How does it make you feel? Who named you? Why did they choose that name? Would you change
Authors and writers write in many different types of genres, but that does not necessarily mean that all of them stand out in those genres. Studies show that less than one percent of submitted works are actually published. This is why pen names are so commonly used by authors and writers in literature. Pen names conceal authors’ identities, helping them avoid bias, giving them the opportunity to analyze their success and to produce more work as desired. Pen names are a great resort to authors and writers in need of help.
Everyone has a different story that they tell which helps defines who they are. These stories are created from experiences, people in our lives, events that took place, important dates, places we have been, interests, and so much more. There are no two people who have the same exact story, which makes us all unique and should drive us to want to have our own individual stories.
My parents were set on girl names; if I was a girl, my name would be Lauren, after my Grandpa Loren. Thinking of a middle name became a little difficult. My mom’s mom name was MariLee, and my parents wanted to take something from her name. Finally making a decision, they chose to take the “Lee” out as my middle name. Naming a boy would be a little different; my parents wanted the name Dalton. The only reason behind that is because my mom liked the name; I beg to differ.

I have a full Japanese first name, and I go by a shortened, Americanized version. My first name means nothing in Japanese, and it’s old fashioned, like Barbara or Margaret or Greta. Fashionable for a decade or so, and now painfully outdated. My middle name is Hawai’ian and is a suffix attached to the names of female royalty, and it means “heaven” or “sky.”
Names will always be different for everyone. They all come from a different backstory or a different meaning and my name is no exception. Although my first name doesn’t provide anything interesting about me, I know I have several stories discussing my middle and last name. From all the long and amazing
When I was a little girl I always wanted a horse. Finally when I was ten I got my first horse. Dad surprised me with her. Her name is Penelope. I was really excited when I got Penelope. It took us awhile to name her. My dad picked Penelope and Alec and I agreed it was a good name.

What’s in a name? Names define us as individuals. We as people have a first name, a last name, sometimes a middle name, and also perhaps some nicknames used by different people. Names are important, but not just for people. In the Bible, there are dozens of different names used for God throughout the Scriptures. Many people might wonder why God needs so many names. I believe one of the primary reasons why God has so many names throughout Scripture is because they have to do with His nature and character. I feel that each of God’s and Jesus’ names in the Bible emphasizes a particular facet of Their character. As we understand how each of God’s names reveals another aspect of His character in the Bible, the more we will learn about Him. Let’s look at some names that were used to identify Jesus in the New Testament.
