Teri was a college freshman at Newbern State University. She graduated from Longfellow High School where she was a straight "A" student, class officer, and cheerleader. She was very involved in high school and planned to do the same in college. She always stayed out of trouble with her parents, school, and the law and was an all-around good girl. But that all changed in the blink of an eye.
"Hey I'm Teri! Can I sit here?", she said with a smile.
"Sure Teri, I'm Cam!", the girl said with an even bigger smile.
"Thanks! So, where are you from?"
"Minnesota."
"Wow, really? That’s so far away. I'm from Newbern, which is about 15 minutes down the road. What brings you so far?"
"Cheer! I couldn't pass up the opportunity to cheer for my favorite team of all time!", Cam said excitedly.
Teri's eyes grew and she practically yelled. "No way! Me too!"
The girls went on to get to know each other and as time went by, they started hanging out outside of school. The first cheer practice rolled around and they were both excited. The team stretched together, did icebreakers to get to know each other and then proceeded to practice. When they left practice, Teri and Cam decided to grab a quick bite and see a movie. On the way there, the girls were just being girls and jamming to the music on the radio station. Cam checked her rearview mirror and noticed that the same car had been behind them for a while.
"Teri, is this car following us? Or is it just me?", Cam asked.
"It's just you."

Our presentation will summarize the Army Crew Team Case, discussing the differing leadership characteristics between the Varsity Crew and the Junior Varsity Crew. In 1852, Harvard and Yale had their respective crews compete against one another, which began the tradition of sports in American universities. Today’s standards require that crewmates make a year-long commitment to the team. However, the racing that we commonly associate with crew does not occur until Spring. The ultimate goal of a crew team is to win against its opponents in these races, which focuses on the task pressures within a crew team. In addition, crewmates must move at the same pace, because the outperformance, or hubris, of one crewmate could slow down the shell.

Cassidy and I are carpooling and her mom is picking up. I wait as I watch out the window. After five minutes I see her car turn on my road. I open the door and quickly lock it and step into her car and her mom leaves right after the door closes. There isn’t that much traffic so we get to Des Moines pretty quickly about ten minutes before practice starts. Once we get there Cassidy and I spring out of the car and run in. We sit for a long ten minutes until Roni calls for us all to circle up.
