My Favorite Team In High School

Carrie White is a teenage outsider, terrorized by her peers and cursed with an ardently religious and abusive mother. She lives her life in the shadows, alone, abused, and silent- then suddenly her luck seems to change. She is invited to the senior prom by the most popular boy in school, Tommy Ross, who she denies because she believes that he is trying to prank her. However, he seems to be genuinely kind in his pursuit of Carrie, helping her gain confidence and even starting to develop feelings for her! This was a pivotal change in Carrie’s life, as she began to develop a new sense of self; poised and untroubled. Everything reverted back to its original occurrences when Carrie became the subject of a senior prank. In 1852, Harvard and Yale had their respective crews compete against one another, which began the tradition of sports in American universities. Today’s standards require that crewmates make a year-long commitment to the team. However, the racing that we commonly associate with crew does not occur until Spring. The ultimate goal of a crew team is to win against its opponents in these races, which focuses on the task pressures within a crew team.
