My Favorite Vacation

One vacation option to consider is Hawaii, where tourists can go to a lot of different islands that have a lot of different things to do and see.

My family has gone on many vacations, but the vacation to Cancun over Thanksgiving is the one I will always remember. My grandma took our whole family on a vacation to Cancun. There were many interesting events that took place on this trip that I will always remember. Every morning waking up to the amazing view of the ocean with the waves roaring to shore. We would spend our days hanging out by the pool and riding the massive waves at the beach. Playing basketball in the pool with the family is a circus trying to score.

Visitors should come to Hawaii because of the fun activities and warm weather. Hawaii’s weather is significant to these islands because it is nearly always warm. Even when it rains, which is a lot. Continuing the warmth, the ocean water is not too hot and definitely not too cold. This means most of the activities in the water. These activities consist of, snorkeling, scuba diving, whale watching, kayaking, fishing, surfing, and much more. Activities on land are, hiking, sightseeing, golf, horseback riding, and way more. When in the water, or sometimes on land, you can see wonderful marine life. Animals you might see are whales, sea turtles, dolphins, fish, and maybe sharks. It was Spring Break and our last year of living overseas so we wanted to make the best of it and go to some places we probably not have the opportunity to go to again. We chose an Eastern Mediterranean cruise. The primary thing that made this trip so unforgettable was my grandparents who I hadn’t seen in 6 years came from Iowa to join us on our vacation. Some of the places it went to were Italy, Greece, and Turkey.

It was a bright and sunny friday, school had just got out not 2 hours prior, and me and my family decided to head to the beach to start the weekend off before heading back to school that following monday. On our way there I realized they were heading to Waimea Beach which is a good 30 minutes from my house. I love Waimea beach, and has to be one of my favorite I’ve ever been to.

Have you ever wanted to visit a place so bad it hurts? Well that's how badly want to go to the Atlantis resort. This is a place I have always wanted to visit since I was a little girl. Seeing the commercials on TV made me dream even more about it. I have never been outside of the US, but I plan to accomplish this task after I get married.I want to go there for my honeymoon. While there I want to go to the water park and visit the animals. I am scared to be on an island, but excited at the same time.

Our sixth grade class went to catalina at emerald bay. When we went to catalina it was fun. We did many activities and stayed active to be healthy. We also learned about the island and the animals there. My goal at catalina was to break my fears, and have some fun but mostly listen to the rules.

The things we did in Hawaii where unforgetable. The reason I said that is I got to spend amazing quality time with my family and see another beautiful part of the world. After we landed we were exhausted so all we did was play down by the ocean. Day 2 we went surfing and rode the waves like pro it was a lot of fun and I got told I was the best surfer which I already new. We also walking around and shopped at the strip malls along the way back to our condo. Then the 3 day we went ziplining which at first I’ll admit I was afraid of doing but it was cool to go ziplining through the forest at 4,000 ft above the ground. Then we went rappelling down waterfalls and got to land in the mouth of three different waterfalls and that was scary and fun at

Hawaii is basically my mom's dream come true, if she could, she would never leave the beach. Luckily for my Mom, my dad shares the same opinion. Which is why my parents have been there three times. Of course two of those, I did not have the pleasure of joining. I never realized how young I was until my older sister (who is only two years older) was shoving it in my face that she got to go and I didn't. In sixth grade, my parents finally decided that I finally could get in on the fun.

There are certain memories that we have that we can remember like they happened yesterday. Many of those memories that have special meaning to me were of family vacations when I was young growing up with my brothers and sisters. Family memories are important to many of us because they take us back to a time or place that was special. One particular family vacation I remember vividly, and it’s a story I have shared with my kids on many occasions. Over the 40 or more years since that memorable vacation, I still smile and think how lucky I was growing up with a mother and father that did everything to give their kids an unforgettable memory.
