Michigan Hero My great grandma has always been nice to me. No matter how sick she gets, she never stops doing things for other people. Every morning people come over for breakfast at her house. My great grandma cooks all the food for them. She is always going to church or praying to God. This is why my Great Grandma is my Michigan Hero. My great grandma is always supportive of me. She used to come to my sporting events that were in the Grand Rapids area, before she got to sick to come. When she would come to my games I would be surprised to see her their. She also every Sunday morning no matter what would go to church. It didn't matter what was going on that day. Even if she felt sick my grandma would go to church. Everyday my grandma
My Michigan hero is my mom, she is one of my biggest inspirations. She somehow raises five kids, is a school director at her work, working on getting her master's degree, is one of two color guard directors, runs back and forth for all of our sports and extracurriculars, and finally somehow still manages to cook dinner and help with homework. She is and has always been my biggest role model and she is always willing to help out and is an all around good person. She even somehow manages to keep the house clean with five kids and two dogs running around all the time going back a forth through it all. She has always encouraged me to do the things I like and try my best even if I don’t like it. She also has supported me and all my siblings in everything we try. She will come to every
Everyone has somebody they look up to, admire, and wanna be like. We all have our own hero. Mine is my brother Tyler. Tyler Shellenberger is an independent, young American. He’s 19 years old and attended Marshall Schools. Tyler is on his way to earning his GED. My Michigan Hero is my brother Tyler Shellenberger.
What I admire most What I admire most about my great grandpa is that he was a hero to save a bunch of people but yet he is still my grandpa. I also like how he is kind and respectful to everyone he meets because he knows that you need to treat others how you want to be treated because if you don’t others will be mean to you. Another way I admire him is that he is helpful and tries to help as best as he can.
A hero is someone you look up to. Who’s your hero? Who do you look up to? “I love my hero to Neptune and back!” My hero, Tasha Young, came from a poor family, works hard and survived cancer. My hero is the oldest of five kids, she didn’t graduate high school and she was a single parent. My mom, Tasha Young, is my hero.
Some Michigan Heroes can be people that helped you in life or helped you succeed in life. My Michigan Hero is someone that raised me, taught me everything I know in life today. This person is my idol, that gave me a hand when I needed one, or told me to keep my head up and never look down. I wouldn’t know what to do in life if this person wasn’t in it.
My Michigan hero is not just a hero but is my grandma, she was always there for me through my ups and downs. Every day after school are used to go to her house, she would have Mack and cheese waiting for me on a little SpongeBob plate in front of the TV with SpongeBob on the TV. She was like my other half whenever I needed her the most she was there. She used to go shopping with me and my mom all the time and take us out for lunch. I alway imagined her being there with me all my life but that all changed. Just a couple years ago she had passed away and that was the hardest day of my life. I remember not wanting to go to her funeral because I couldn't stand seeing all the memories and pictures of us together. When I first walked into the room I just
My Michigan hero is one of my friend’s dads. I have many of reasons why he is my Michigan hero, but one big reason is because he saved my life.
Sometimes I wonder what is a hero, is it a person who can fly and do amazing tricks, or is it a modern day soldier who puts his or her life on the line to protect what they love, or could it be a hard working parent or grandparent that is always willing to do anything thing for the people that they care for. And I always come to the conclusion that a hero can be anything because it is the beholders opinion. My abuelo or grandpa was born in Mexico and moved to the United States of America when he was only twelve. His real name is Zenon Cardenas and his early life was not easy, he moved from place to place with his parents on their tremendously low income and sometimes they barely had enough money to get food. Later, he was old enough to get a job in which he chose to be a construction worker, and that is where he learned how to make buildings. After awhile, he eventually settled down in Ionia, Michigan and built the house where him and my abuela or grandma currently lives now. That is the spot that he had my mom and her six siblings.
My grandma is one of my biggest friends and supporters. She has 5 grandkids total 3 boys and 2 girls. The boys are
If you are reading this, i’m sure you might be confused, but it makes perfect sense. She was always helping me, and I was always helping her. My grandma is my hero not simply because she respects me and understands me, but because she is always there for me, and she always has been. She shows up at our house at least once a week, and when I needed to talk to someone I always had her to talk
My Michigan hero is my grandpa.he has lived in Michigan for 60years and plans to keep living here. My grandpa is a very nice kind of person. He is also caring of everybody he knows. He is funny all the time makes me and my brother and sister laugh. Next he tells me I can build anything I put my mind to. Next he is very helpful with everything I build. He has helped me make birdhouse, animals banks and a gun cabinet. The main thing is the gun cabinet because he helped me plan it out and helped build it. Next he helped me pick out a stain color and helped with whatever he could to help finish it. These are just a few reasons why my grandpa is my Michigan hero.
My grandma had survived a hard life, and yet managed to raise four responsible, well-educated, and successful children. All this she did while working as a respected psychiatric nurse and a state mental health board member. Although she had had and was still overcoming trials in life, I always knew she would be there and cared about me and my life. As my brother and I grew older and were unable to visit my grandparents as often as we
My grandmother has a very softhearted voice that I still hear telling me goodnight when we were little. She would wait with us until we fell deep asleep. And even as we got older she would gather us around the kitchen table and let us watch the old fashioned ice cream maker churn the best vanilla ice cream and then she would load it up with chocolate chips, and our parents would always say, "That's too many.", and grandmother just let us keep piling them on. My grandmother is the kind, gentle, loving, caring grandmother that I wish my children could experience today.
When I was growing up I remember watching my Grandmother iron my Grandfathers clothes, while cooking breakfast for four grandchildren. I admire her still and strive to be more like her every day.
Of course you always hear people talking about how great their grandmother or grandfather are, I too feel the same way about my grandmother. I see her as more than my grandmother, she’s a role mole, my best friend and also like a sister when I need her. She’s always been a loving and caring person. Not for only her friends and family, but also strangers. People she has never met a day in her life she would be willing to go give her last too. You don’t find to many people like her too often.
