My Hero is my dad, he has sacrificed many things for my family. My dad hasn’t gotten a new pair of boots that he needed just so he could give my family what we wanted. My dad has worked overtime just so I could have a car and be able to go out with friends and has taken me to get my license. he had bought me many things as a child. My dad has been driving the same truck the past 5 years just so me and my mom can have better cars. My dad wants the best for my family, but he is very materialistic when it comes to what my family has. He always wants the best of the best wether its a TV, car, anything. This man has done things for me that I wouldn’t expect him too, he has cooked for me, went and got food for me, taken me to friends houses, done
When I think of a hero, I think of someone who is brave, strong, hardworking, trustworthy, and unselfish. Someone who can protect you and make life better; my dad has all of those qualities. My dad was raised by my grandma and had a very different life growing up compared to mine. He grew up where his brother now lives, outside of Brooks Oregon. He really liked riding 4-wheelers, motorcycles and skateboards when he was my age. He also really enjoyed drawing and learning. He graduated from McNary High School. After high school he went to college where he then had to drop out because of money reasons. Later on he went to college again and graduated with a degree in computers and engineering after I was born. Right after college he started working at Intel Corporation. After about 4 years he got a job at Lam Research where he works on wafers and chips for computers and
My hero has made a huge impact on my life. They have always been there for me and supported my decisions. Whether it was a good or bad decision, I had always learned from it. When things got rough they always made sure we were happy and kept a smile on our face. One of these people were very sick but always managed to make sure we were okay. While the other one is taking care of us the best that they can he has many health issues as well. These people are my parents.
One person’s hero might seem just like another ordinary person to another. My father might not be world famous but to me he’s just as much much a hero to me then any one of those people. Everyday he works; to make sure that I have an opportunity to succeed in life, have a happy life, and be able to grow as a person.
One person’s hero might seem equivalent to an another ordinary person to another. My father might not be world famous, but to me he’s just as much of a hero to me than any one of those people. Every day he works to ensure sure that I have an opportunity to succeed in life, have a peaceful life, and be able to grow as a person.
Your favorite superhero might be Hulk or Thor, but mine is my own Aunt. My Aunt Linda is my role model. She is the person I look up to for many reasons. Throughout her life, she was ill. At the moment, she is in a nursing home at the age of 66. Being sick, she never cared too much about herself, but always thinking about other people. Linda was a nurse, so caring about people was her day job. Linda never got married or had her own children, so she spoiled me to death. I think I had more toys at her house then at my own. Back when I was little, I used to go over to her house in Jonesville every weekend for church. That means, every Saturday at noon we watched the dramatic tv series, Young and the Restless. I will never forget sitting in her living room with a tv tray and ice cream, screaming at the characters. I would laugh and laugh with her. Spending so much time with her, she has taught me so many things, but mostly she taught me to be a kind, loving, and giving individual.
Laoch the Heroic was and Irish wizard famous for defeating the Dark Wizard Santach the Terrible. He enjoyed swimming and reading.
The reason that my dad is one of my heroes is because he's done a lot of things to save, and improve my life. When I was little, my mom thought I was choking on a penny. My dad drove home and to the hospital so fast that he lost a cop on the way. Although it might sound like he's not a hero because of this one reason, if he didn't hurry I might not be here today. He also worked a unhealthy and dangerous job back when we lived in Washington. His motivation was to make sure that our family had what we needed and wanted. Providing for my family was at the top of his priorities. My mom said, “He worked on ladders 3 stories high while breathing in bad fumes from paint and stain. By the end of the day he was usually passed out on the couch by 7.” When he wasn't working, he was usually either doing stuff with me like passing a football around, playing around in the backyard, or riding four wheelers. He even did cub scouts with me even though it wasn’t what he really wanted to do when he got off work. Not only did my dad save my life, but he also helped shape me into who I am today with the help of my
Fans of superhero-movie franchise and comics will definitely want to pick up Sarah Kuhn's Heroine Complex series. The second book, Heroine Worship, released last month. The story follows Annie Chang who's best known as Aveda Jupiter.
“A hero is someone who voluntarily walks into the unknown” Tom Hanks said. I too agree with him that heroes are important. Whether it is firefighter or a soldier, they both are needed in our lives. To be considered a good hero you must be confident, careful, and cooperative.
I think the student council's plan to elect a hero of the month is a great idea for several reasons. It will encourage positive actions, increase awareness of the good things students do, and give students an opportunity to work with school leaders.
He is my father. He is my hero because he went through a lot of stuff when he was younger, but he continues to be happy every day and doesn’t focus on the past. He sees what he has in this moment and is happy with it. He has a beautiful wife and two children. He works hard to make sure that we are happy. Whenever one of us is sad or just hateful, he never fails to make us laugh and put us in a better mood. I hate what happened to him when he was younger, but I feel like it made him stronger. It made him the man he is today, and I wouldn’t trade that for the
Have you ever had a hero in your life, someone that is always there for you when you need them? I did, I called him "my dad." My dad was the only person that could make me laugh when I was feeling down. My dad was that person who had so much love for his family. My dad was the person who I could call and he'd always pick up. My dad was the person who would drop everything just to help me. My dad was the biggest hero in my life and to this day, still is.
Everybody has been educated in the values that underpin our way of seeing life and relationships with others. To me, my family have taught me that for a person to be free need to be educate and fight for the rest of the people to have equal opportunities in a society based on respect, work and democracy.
“Heroes don't need to fly or shoot lasers from their eyes to be the one who saves countless lives. They don't need super strength or super speed to be there, in someone's hour of need. They don't need a mask or villainous foe to save a family from certain woe. They just need to do what is right, to be the hero, shining in the night.” This poem by Jaide Lynne is my description of a true hero as well. When I said the word “hero”, I bet you thought of Super Man. Someone in a long cape and tight, spandex leggings. While they are heroes, they are strictly fictional heroes. There are thousands of heroes living today. They don’t get nearly enough credit for the amazing things they do. These heroes are called Veterans. A Veteran
He is very intelligent; he even took time to go back to college when he already had a career under his belt. Which brings him to being a hard worker, my dad is one of the hardest working people anyone will ever meet, if anything that man works too much. He is also very respectful to people, especially those in potion over him. My dad is also one of the bravest people on earth; he has had two very dangerous jobs. The first would be being a United States Marine. The second job would be his current job, which is being a Maricopa Deputy Sheriff. My dad is my hero because he has worked hard to maintain all of these qualities, and he practices them each and every
