The feel of the hot sun beating down on my forehead. The sound of people cheering and chatting. The taste of the delicious sample of fudge that I was just given from a small shop. I come across a huge billboard in bold blue letters. Where am I? I have just arrived in Branson, Missouri, where my family and I plan to have an amazing vacation away from home. To arrive in Branson, we first had to drive down to Missouri in my mom's silver van. As it was my parents, my three brothers, and me, the car was very crowded with all of our belongings that we needed for the trip crammed into the car with us. During the long and arduous car ride that dragged on for hours and hours, we figured out all of the activities that we hope to attend throughout the week of our trip. After discussing all of our plans, we decide that we will go to Silver Dollar City, which is an amusement park, a waterpark called White Water, and many stores including Branson’s Landing, Tanger Outlets and the Five and Dimes store. My dad is very organized, and he is also a perfectionist. He takes out a yellow lined notebook and writes down a list of everything we are going to do for each day of the four-day-long vacation. As he finishes, we finally arrive in Branson, so we quickly check in, grab our room keys, and take all of our belongings up to our room. In my opinion, I believe that unpacking everything and taking it up the five flights of stairs where our room is located is the worst part of the
My summer of 2017 consisted of visiting places all over the United States such as New York City, Washington D.C., and Florida. Not only did traveling this summer teach me new things, but it also made me go outside my comfort zone and experience new things. This was single-handedly the best summer of my life and wish I could relive it over again.
“The best things in life are the people we love the places we’ve been…. And the memories we’ve made along the way.” by Unknown. 2017 started off terrible but then soon got better from a little help from God. My family found out we won a trip to Hawaii. My parents were deciding whether or not they should take us kids with, my brothers Chris was 18, Matt was 11, Nic was 8, and I was 15. Then my parents talked and the decided that it would be our last family vacation with just our family saying chris went to college the next year and probably will find a girlfriend. Hawaii I know made me look at life a different was saying everything that just happened to me.
I knew that today was going to be a fast pace before I even went into the building. This week we have two case managers and two teachers who are on vacation. I had seven cases that I had to address today. One the case that stood out to me was a case that involved three children and the mother. The father of the children was not around so it made the case a little harder. The three children all had some sort of infection on them, but that's not what they mother came to me for. She asked if I could help her get food stamps. I told her that we could work on it, in the middle of the conversation I notice that all three children looked like they were uncomfortable. All of the children were under the age of ten, and should be happy because
Hey guys! I just wanted to start off by apologizing on how late this chapter is. I was on vacation for my birthday but to make up for it I am giving you a double chapter today! Enjoy!
The Maldives is not only nature’s unrivalled masterpiece of pure bliss and serenity; it is also a country that offers endless enjoyment and indulgences.
A few days before the trip, my dad, my sister Nina, and I, had done some research and added up the cost of the trip and looked for hotels and restaurants to visit during the time we were there and on our road trip. After about an hour of research on Chicago, we had our plan of what to do for our time in Chicago. That night, It was difficult to fall asleep, although I wasn’t surprised I usually didn’t fall asleep right away before a vacation, I’m usually too excited.
This time last year, I went to the Cape Coral Coconut Festival, A festival held yearly in the large lot next to Sun Splash Family Waterpark, a local's hotspot every summer with guaranteed long lines and a densely packed lazy river. Everyone in my family was thrilled, my little brother and sister bouncing up and down on the seats of our family minivan, while my mom attempted to drive to the festival, amidst ear-piercing shrieks, constantly reminding them to calm down. I too was excited, peering up at the brightly colored lights that stretched all the way to the sky. As we pulled into the lot, the rides seemed to loom above, the thought of riding them put a knot in my throat and made my stomach do backflips. We all burst out of the car, walking hand in hand, my little brother (5), my little sister (3), my Mom, my Dad, my grandma, and I. We all rode a few rides to satisfy the little ones, the ladybug ride, and then the merry go round.

Going on vacation is supposed to a relaxing, stress-free experience, especially during a long weekend when a monday away from school can be an indispensable time to relax and enjoy a break from the grind of AP classes and 40-minute prompts. Therefore, my family and I decided it would be great to spend the long Columbus day weekend in New Hampshire with my grandparents and cousins. My family has made this voyage probably over a hundred times in the 17 years I’ve been alive, enjoying weekends and school breaks with the rest of my family.
Being together as one makes you stronger. My family and I were vacationing in Punta Cana of the Dominican Republic. When we landed at the airport my family and I noticed that it was hot humid and very tropical. When we all got off the plane and got our bags it took a while to get past passport security. The people in my family that went were my Mom, Dad, Older Brother, and my Little Brother.
In my twenty-one years, I’ve taken some amazing vacations to some absolutely, beautiful places. These places, however, pale in comparison to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I can remember being a young child and taking my first true, out-of-state vacation there. Since then, my family and I have gone there almost every year. Perhaps that is why I feel such a deep connection to this breathtaking spot.
“Wow, what a beautiful sunset. “ everybody said excited looking at the sunset while being swallowed by the ocean. We were all sitting in the cold wet sand together enjoying the view as a whole family. “We made a great choice coming to the beach before the sun set” said my dad. We all agreed with him. After looking at the sunset we all went to go eat dinner at a Mexican restaurant because everybody was craving Mexican food. I ordered a burrito with steak and rice inside. My parents both ordered the same thing as always which was steak fajitas. My cousins also got a burrito but they got pulled pork burritos. And my brother and sister got flautas which are tacos but they come in a hard-shell tortilla. After we finished eating, we all headed to my cousin’s place to have a small welcome party because we didn’t have a welcome party the day the we got to California the day that we came. Later we all slept at their place because everybody was really tired and we didn’t want to go find a hotel to stay in so we stayed in my cousin’s place.
A vacation out on the water is a common desire for many people. The preparations usually begin with a choice between a cruise and a chartered vessel. There are many reasons why someone would choose to board a cruise ship, and most consist of misinformation regarding either a paid cruise or a chartered boat, or both. This misinformation can be corrected by a bit of research into what a charter actually offers. A charter can make a boating experience more personal, relaxing, and enjoyable for all the guests aboard.
