Myrtle Beach vs. New York City Essay

One of the main differences I noticed at first was the night life, being that I work in a bar I have a lot of experience when it comes to this. Miami’s night life is over the top crazy. Atlantic City is located in New Jersey. This city is mainly known for its casinos but also consists of long, wide beaches. It has a beautiful boardwalk which is relaxing to walk across with the breeze blowing your hair. In one of the buildings, there is a small built-in mall where they have a marvelous waterfall show with colors that change. The occur frequently throughout the day. During the night time, it gets packed with adults trying to head to the casinos. Although there are many casinos for adults, the beaches attracts many families. Atlantic City has more to it than just the casinos which makes many families visit the city.

On the morning of June 17, 2016, I woke up with a smile on my face like it was Christmas morning. I launched myself out of bed to take a quick shower before I was to meet my friends to leave for Daytona Florida. We planned this trip months ahead of time when we found out there was a truck meet on the weekend of June 18th and 19th. The truck meet we went to was where anyone who owned a pickup truck could come down to Daytona Florida and drive on the beach to get to mingle and entertain one another for the weekend. We met at a local gas station in Morgantown Kentucky at eight that morning. It was June 10, the day we got out of school and headed to the beach. It was our annual family trip to Myrtle Beach which meant going to Family Kingdom, River City, to the ocean, and playing around. I couldn’t wait it was finally time to go and as soon as we got on the highway my mom stops the car and turns around because she forgot her pillow. That didn’t really bother me because everyone forgets things. We were about two hours into the trip when my brother realizes that he forgot his phone. He complained the whole rest of the way how he wanted to go home and he didn’t want to go all because of his phone. But the best part was soon to come. Ocean CIty is a beautiful vacation place, not just for the summer. Many people go there to relax, make memories and have a good time. It is a fun-filled, family-friendly vacation place that everyone will enjoy and it is worth the drive.

The community that I will be describing is the city of Long Beach. In this city there are many people of age and ethnicity. This city is very diverse in having many people of different cultures and backgrounds. Downtown Long Beach is where people go to eat, have fun and hang out near the Pike. At the Pike is where you’ll find a lot of young people going to the movies or shopping. In this city it is filled with young adults and they are the majority of the community. A lot of the young adults have jobs and there are some that are going to school. Younger adults are more prone to trying new things which sometimes can lead into a health issue. In this city I will be discussing a main health problem that might be relatable to other cities. The health problem that will be discussed is the use of tobacco products in young adults. Some products are cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, chewing tobacco, and hookah. These products are used daily by young adults in this community.

Even though I will not be going there anytime soon it would still be nice to start saving some money here and there. I would also need to ask family and or friends if they would like to tag along, so it would be even more memorable than if I went by myself. Planning in advance will really help with reducing stress about the trip. My parents he hawed about the trip with a few other couples and then finally decided. However they said they wish they would’ve started planning sooner because it was such a headache planning everything so last minute.

Of the two cities you chose, which city is more expensive? What is the difference in costs?

Myrtle Beach was the first trip I took since my mom was hired by PSA. The plan was to have my mom, my two sisters, my brother and myself fly to Myrtle beach in the morning

New York has been prodigious. You should have tagged along with me. New York is incredibly different to the South. I have visited so many places. I have visited factories, and other cities. It is just incredible how different the North and South are. But I truly think that the South is better in many reasons.

New York, the Big Apple, the city that never sleeps. This is the place where my mother, aunt and I are headed for the first time ever. As a freshly graduated girl from high school, I decided this was the best place to take the most important females in my life to for all their sacrifices. However, the reason I chose New York City as the travel destination is because of the highly spoken of theatrical performances. Broadway performances were the one thing that us three enjoyed together most, after shopping of course. Our love first started when my high school had performed a reenactment of the popular musical “Grease”. It was so well assemble, decorated and the actors/actress were just amazing. Our eyes stayed on the performance and we payed attention to every detail from scene to scene. Ever since then, they’ve been talking about seeing another one so I decided that New York City would be the best place for us to enjoy theatre together. As a freshly graduated high school student, I am happy to say that I was able to save up enough money to fund this trip, making the budget $5000. Even though the budget is small, I have faith in myself to plan the most exciting and worthwhile trip ever. Nonetheless, I decided that 7 days and 6 nights in New York would be a reasonable amount of time to enjoy everything the city has to offer. Our round-trip tickets from the Bahamas would be $387 per person. Similarly, a rental car for the 7 days of our trips would be $78 per day and also, we

My sister and I have been planning a vacation to Florida this summer. We decided we wanted to go to either Clearwater, Destin, or Panama City Beach. My example would be comparing condo prices for these three areas. I don’t have the actual prices but we decided on Panama City because it was the cheapest.
