1. 548th CSSB currently has two delinquent NCOERs for the following individuals: a. MISKEL, ANTHONY K., 1SG, XXX-XX-9999, B Co, 548th CSSB b. FRIENDS, TERRY L., SSG, XXX-XX-0000, HHC, 548th CSSB 2. The previous NCOER NCOIC departed unexpectedly two months ago due to a compassionate reassignement, and he was out the majority of the previous sixty days prior to his departure due to medical and personal issues. As such, the corrections the battalion CSM required on the NCOERs were not done and the NCOERs were not processed in a timely fashion. 3. The S-1 section will ensure the NCOERs are corrected and processed as soon as possible, and will also implement changes to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure this does not happen
CM was unable to reach Ms. Williams (caregiver) in regards to 30 Day CFT meeting for Nsilo (youth). CM left caregiver a detailed message and reported CM will be on vacation on Monday, 8/7/17 for upcoming court hearing. CM requested to meet with the family prior to court hearing to conduct 30-day CFT meeting at the youth detention center located in Teterboro, NJ. CM provided caregiver with CM’s contact information.

However, we have an extensive NCO Education System that is itself constantly improving to provide the most up to date and relevant training for our young leaders. As well as those who are far more experienced. An improved Brick and mortar NCO school system and the addition of DL training, along with active and ongoing in house NCODP, provide a vibrant and widely varied opportunity for development of enlisted leaders at all levels.

The Structure Self Development (SSD) intent is to bridging the operational and institutional gaps and set conditions for continuous growth. The system was implemented without taking in consideration the dual status of Army Reserve (RA) and National Guard (NG) Soldiers.
