) What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about playing music, being successful academically, and lastly I am passionate about using my strengths to help others. I am a member of our very own Stockdale High School Marching Band, and I am also a member of the Stockdale Jazz Band. Music is like an escape for me. Whenever I am feeling down, I will play some music and instantly feel better. I want to show people how music can be an outlet for anyone. I am quite the perfectionist so it is very important to me that I remain academically successful in all my classes. I enjoy using my strengths in academics to help others achieve academic success.
2.) Describe a time when you feel like you made a positive impact. I
The band program means a lot to me because it has helped me become more outgoing and friendly to people. It has also helped me gain much more of an interest towards all things music. When I was a kid I always wanted to be a teacher, but I never knew what I wanted to teach. When I joined band and attended different music classes, I became interested in something that meant little to me at the time. During my time in band it became much more clear to me that I wanted to pursue music education. The band program means a lot to me because it made me who I am today and I hope to help someone find themselves through music like I
I would be a valuable member to the NHS because of my strive for greatness in everything and for my personality full of leadership qualities. I am a very hard worker and enjoy helping others. I wish to join the NHS to develop character, become a better leader, and encourage excellence in academics, extra-curricular activities, and in the community. When i put my mind to something, I do it. While being a useful member to the NHS at Thornapple Kellogg high school, I wish to be seen as a leader by my peers and community. I am very qualified in all criteria of being a successful student/leader with plenty of character and service experience.
I have always enjoyed music since I picked it up my first alto sax in the 6th grade. Of all the enjoyment music gave me and all its feelings it can create I could finally make some of my own. For the 7 years I have been playing in school it still remains a large part of my life. It gives me a great enjoyment to push myself everyday to do better. The dream of one day playing in a great college jazz ensemble propels me forward in my music because of the disadvantage of my school's jazz program. Playing saxophone in a classical and jazz context is what makes me a perfect fit for Sam Houston State University.
The second method of redress is going through NHS England which is in place for patients that have tried to resolve the situation with the staff that are involved or using the PALS team, if this cannot be resolved then a formal complaint needs to be made where the NHS England supplies two different addresses which the patient can use to complain to. The first stage is Local resolution where they recommend the patient complains to the provider or the commissioner of the health service within 12 months after the event or when the patient became aware of the event while this time if a patient want support with their complaint then the NHS England provides The patient with an independent complaints advocacy service to assistance with complaining. The patient can complaint directly to the NHS England as they can complain to the provider or the commissioner by online complaint form, telephone, email or letter without going through the GP surgery. If the patient is not happy with the response then they are addressed with the second stage where is contact to the Health Service Ombudsman who would investigate the patients complaint. Growing up, music has always been a passion of mine. I listened to everything and anything. I would go to jazz concerts, operas, orchestra performances, or to a rock and roll music festival. But that passion bloomed into something more as I grew older. It blossomed into wanting to learn an instrument. I got to seize that opportunity when it came time to attend middle school.
Someone once said that if you find a job you love, then you will never work a day in your life (Unknown). This philosophy has driven students to find a major that they enjoy and a job they will love. Skylar Angelmaier wishes to become a pediatric nurse because it is a very rewarding job, she loves to care for children, and it fits well with her caring personality.
I am a dedicated and conscientious student in class, and a key member in many extra-curricular activities. As a keen musician, playing violin, trombone and piano, I contribute to a number of musical ensembles in school and played an integral part in the organisation of our school’s summer concert. I am also a member of several local youth orchestras and bands, with whom I have toured abroad many times, most recently to Italy, France and Belgium.
Music is my life. Specifically, my vocal specialization is Tenor, which is the highest range a male voice can attain. I perform Classical repertoire written in the languages: English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. I love singing in various languages, for it significantly enhances my ability to vocalize. Currently, I am only involved in Nevada Chamber Singers, but I will be participating in Nevada Chamber Opera this spring. With respect to my academics, I am a double major in Music and Marketing, and I will pursue getting my master’s degree in Arts Administration.
Similar to how an athlete desires the game, I the musician hunger for the music. Music is a very influential component in my life and shapes who I am today. Without music I would possibly never get the chance to develop my immense friendships with teachers and friends I have today. Music has remarkably done so much for me, and I believe the best way to repay music is to spread the incredible experiences music has to offer to fellow peers and others is by attaining the position as Skutt Catholic's drum major. I intensely yearn to become Skutt Catholic's drum major because I firmly believe I will positively build upon the band program at Skutt Catholic and meet drum major requirements due to past experiences.
My success is not limited to just skill, but the potential I have to grow even further in my current passion. Music has been a part of my identity the moment I made a commitment to it. Without music, I would have never met the people I call my friends, challenge others to prove my skill as a musician and put others in their place when they deserved to be called out. I am proud to be a part of the program. I can’t leave out something vital about
Two majors that interest me include dance and nursing. Dance has always been a passion of mine. I have been dancing since the age of three and I am currently a member of the WVU Dance Team. It has taught me the importance of responsibility and discipline. Secondly, the nursing major interests me because I have always known that I have wanted to pursue a career in the medical field. I enjoy the satisfaction of helping those in need and providing them with caring, compassionate care. Hints, why I am a nursing major.
At the age of five, I found my love for sports. Since then I have played on several teams throughout the years. Playing sports and being a part of a team have not only prepared me to pursue nursing, but it has also helped
Lifestyle choices such as smoking, drinking alcohol, poor diet and lack of physical exercise have many diseases associated with them. In 2006-07, patients with these diseases cost the NHS a combined total of £18.4bn (Scarborough et al. 2011). If the NHS limited treatment to these groups of people, it would be able to invest this money into other areas of need. This could lead to improved facilities for people who become ill through no fault of their own.
I really love music. I am in both band and choir, along with many other activities such as sports, FCCLA, Forensics, and NHS. I work at the Sonic in Mulvane and absolutely love it along with the people I work with. I live with my dad and step mom and have three older sisters already in college and two younger brothers. My future goal is to go to Cowley College for two years and afterward either attend Friends University or Southwestern College for four years.
First of all, before I even begin, I want to say thank you to all the people that helped me learn more about myself. Anyway, I am a mostly a musical and spatial learner because I love music and it always calms me down. I can also easily remember the tune of the song after I hear it once or twice. I think that this can help me change the world because my dad has went almost everywhere in Asia and has done so many things for the continent with his band and church that he is in. I also want to achieve great things with him. As a global citizen, I think I can change the world with my music. I’ve already been playing in an orchestra (it’s in the Arvada Center), competed in a few festivals to with prizes, so I think I can also achieve all these great things that are still waiting for me. Being a musical learner has helped me made through all these things. I don’t want to give up.
