Ahhh! Swoosh! I feel like I’m going to fall off this terrifying water slide. What did I put myself into? During the ride I went around in circles at least 5 times, my mind was spinning. After that hair-raising moment, I knew that today was going to be a day filled with adventure! Then, my family and I went to Hershey Park as a birthday gift for me. At the entrance, I saw an enormous light blue and bright yellow water slide that almost looked like half of a tornado. It was a really hot day, the temperature was almost 87 degrees. We walked over to the water section, and I was amazed how big it was, It was like a pool with water slides for gods. My brother told me right away, “We must go on that slide,” and that was the moment I knew I would go on that gigantic water slide, I was relieved because I desperately needed a something to refresh myself, and I was scared. When I was waiting in-line I went up so many stairs, which took a while. Finally, I was where the slide started, My brother’s back was facing the slide and I was facing the slide on the tube. “Shahan, are you ready? ” My brother asked me, I said, “No,“ then the slide started. When you first went down the ride it was dark and there were scary turns, then you make a big drop and start to spin, when I was spinning in midair I was so scared. My heart started beating really fast, then I realized that my brother and I weren’t even close to being done with the water slide. Then, the next day I went on a roller coaster
My cousin and I were heading over to our favorite ride there, the Twirl And Whirl, it was so fun, when we went on that ride it felt like we were flying when we closed our eyes and felt it spin. While we were on the ride my sister and her friend asked if they could go on the roller coaster and our dad said,”Yes, but first let 's wait for this ride to be done so all of us can go.” soon the twirl and whirl ride stopped and we got off and headed towards the roller coaster ride called the bullet, we waited in line for maybe 10 min then got on, I sat next to my dad because it was my first roller coaster ride,”Everyone
One day, my family and I traveled to Minnesota. Once we got there, we rushed straight and we turned right to the amusement park called “University of Nickelodeon” and when I walked in, my stomach dropped. My brother, Jesus and I made a deal that for every ride that I got on, he will give me ten dollars. The deal was on. I had gone on a lot of rides, particularly roller coasters. But, the scariest one was a SpongeBob one.
We were walking and then we stopped at the ride called “Boomerang”. The ride was another roller coaster. I begged my dad not to go on the ride because he said let’s go on the ride. Unfortunately, I gave up begging him and he we went in line. The good thing is that the line wasn’t really long. After waiting for twenty minutes, we finally got on the ride. I looked around and was frighten. I knew the ride would first turn forward and then backwards. The ride started and I screamed. The ride wasn’t as bad as “Medusa” which is a good thing. After the ride was done, I was happy to get off the ride.I thought the ride was actually really fun and I loved it.
My head went back, and my feet popped up. I felt the frigid water seep into my hair, and soak my scalp. I heard my mom’s soft voice trying to keep me calm, and reminding me to keep my bellybutton up to the air as if some puppet master was holding it up by a string. Every time my mom tried to let me float by myself, my feet would begin to sink. It was as if I was a weight on a fishing line pulling it down into the dark abyss. I couldn’t seem to stay relaxed, I was as stiff as a two by four. That fire was still burning my inner forest deep within me. I remember startling myself out of the float, because I did not feel my mom’s hands supporting me anymore. I scrambled for footing on the bottom of the pool floor feeling the rough pool floor slip past my toes a couple times before I got the traction to stand up. I was kind of confused for a moment as I tried to get the water out of my eyes and nose. My family was now all out in the pool area, and I realized the moment I have been dreading for the past few years of my short life was here and I knew it. My family was going to have me jump off the diving board, in hopes that it would dissipate my excruciating fear of water. My heart was beginning to pound through my
There were thoughts of actually dying and that gave me a strong excitement. The ride had begun it was slowly going up at first I could see myself getting higher and watch my mom wave at me. All of a sudden the ride had stopped. It was about to get much faster and at that exact moment my mind went blank. The ride had started going up instantaneously as I started to yell at the top of my lungs. I was faced toward the theme park as I went higher I felt butterflies squeeze my stomach. Once I reached the top the ride it stopped moving. The whole theme park was so small from the top of the ride I was surprised to realize that my mom looked like an ant. The rays of the sun were flashing into my face but I was feeling fantastic. Suddenly, there was a sound of gas release and boom the ride started to go down and things started to get bigger again.
exciting. So my friends know that i have the fear of roller coaster and heights so they wanted to put me on the fastest and highest ride to overcome it, but i chickened out and i didn't go on the rides they went on, i went on 2 water rides and a new one they had. Both of the water rides was fun one of them was like log one where you have swirls but then it goes up a hill then it lets you fall and all the water splashes all over you and me and my mom were soaking wet. The other was like a wheel and it was my mom and me and 4 other of my friends and the wheel would swirl around by itself and it was on a river canal and it would have dips and you would get wet and since the wheel would swirl around you would think its someone else that will get wet but yet it would be you or someone else. The other roller coaster was pretty big for me since i'm afraid of heights and roller coaster i was screaming the whole entire time and oh my goodness i was so mad at my mom because she traumatised me! After we went on the water rides my mom and i went and changed.
I was standing in line with my sister and cousin waiting to get on the “Viper”. We were at Six Flags having already been in the long line an hour and a half. We all went on our favorite rides, then we decided to go on the roller-coaster. This was going to be my very first ever roller-coaster in my life. Then the roller coaster conductor told us to get on the coaster. I jumped in, put my seatbelt on and listened to the safety precautions. Then the conductor pressed the button and we were off.
My dad told us we could, but to make sure not to get lost. We said ok and went over to Six Flags Park. Asia was trying to force me to get on this big, gigantic roller coaster called The Batman. I told her she must be out of her mind. She said I was if I did not get on. Reluctantly, I said ok, but told her she was going to be the one paying for my funeral if I don’t make it! She told me to stop doubting myself and grow up already. When I finally got on to the ride I was like, “Oh heck no! Let me off!” The ride man told me I would be fine as he locked the bar into place. As the ride started and we began clicking up that first huge hill, I was like “Oh my God I’m really goanna die!” Then, I was like, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”, and, “AHHHHHH!” Then it was over I was like, “That was so awesome! We got to go again!” Asia said I told you so as we got back in line again. We went on to ride it a total of 7 times. After the 7th time we finally decided to do something different. We wanted to do the Mr. Freeze coaster, but there was a 60 min. wait. That was when we looked over and saw the Scooby Doo ride only had a 15 min. wait so we decided to ride it instead. The ride was a lot more fun than we thought it would be. We were all in these 4 passenger “Mystery Machines” that had lazertag guns and score counters. Asia and I competed to see who could get the highest score. Six Flags had a lot of other cool
I was bouncing up and down in my car seat my seat belt trying to keep a hold of me. I was so excited to finally get to go to six flags. As we pulled up to get into the parking lot, they wind rushed through my hair, I stuck my head out the window to get a better view of six flags. The rides going back in forth and the people eagerly waiting in line to get in. we pulled up to a parking. The car came to a stopped, everyone jolted forward and then back in their seats. I opened the door stepping out and letting the rest of the people come out. The door slammed behind me and echoed through the parking lot. We made our way getting closer and closer to the amusement park, my older cousins were walking behind me and the young ones who were running across the street playing, my uncle screamed at them to not play in the street.
one day we were going to this place called six flags. It was a sunny day that day we left from our house about 5:00 that morning but we were staying there for the weekend at my friends grandparents house in Atlanta. My mom and my two brothers were with us driving and my friend his hole family was following us when we went down their. And we all couldn't wait to get down their but i’m sometimes nervous to go down big rollercoasters but I didn't know that they were going to be that big.
As Ralph Waldo Emerson once added “What you are afraid to do, is a clear indication of the next thing you need to do.” As we were pulling into the parking lot of Hersheypark, I looked up and saw a gigantic coaster, the tallest upside down coaster in the whole entire park. Before we took our trip we did research on the best rides at the park, Fahrenheit was one of the tallest coasters with a 97 degree drop and 60 mph during the ride. I was only 10 at the time and I had never gone on an upside down roller coaster before. As we were entering the park, the rollercoaster was to the left of the entrance. I was hoping we would be able to go to the other side first so I could avoid the coaster for a little while. Just my luck, we turned to the left,
We got on the ride quickly there was no line and I was scared, like about to pee myself scared. We all got strapped/buckled in and the ride started, it started climbing the first hill to then drop us onto whatever came next.It seemed like
One summer day in July , Me and my friend Carol went to an amusement park called Cedar Point . Cedar Point is located in Sandusky , Ohio and two and a half hours away . My mom and me wanted to go on a ride called the Maverick . The Maverick is Cedar Point’s steepest roller coaster and its speed is 70 miles per hour . The Maverick also has a 95 degree drop ! Then we went in line and waited for about an hour and a half . It was about eleven o'clock when we got close to the front of the line . When we finally got to the roller coaster I regretted going on because it was very dark and I couldn't see where the drop was and I don’t like steep roller coasters . Because of that me and Carol where panicking the whole way up . As soon as we got to the
I wanted to take that boat out and go tubing for the first time in my life. I was so excited that I even offered to blow up the tube by myself with nothing but my lungs, not knowing we had an air pump. Finally, after what felt like hours of begging like the annoying twelve year old I was, my dad said it was time to go. My sisters and I got our life jackets and wet shirts on, while my baby brother and step mom got on the boat, and my dad sat in the driver’s seat. My sisters and I were on the back on the tube, trying to find the best way to position our arms so we didn’t fall off. My dad turned the key to the boat and suddenly, my excitement turned to sheer panic. What happens if I fall off? What if my sisters fall off? What if there was a lake monster or a really big fish in the water? From that moment on, I was determined to stay on, so I held on to the handles for dear
The ground looked up at me menacingly. After an agonizing 2 minutes, we reached the curve at the top of the hill. As we rounded the bend, I glimpsed the drop ahead. The butterflies drummed twice as hard now. Then, the end of the curve was upon me, and we stopped! “What happened? Is something wrong?” All of the sudden, the brakes gave way. A yell tore itself from my lungs as we flew down the hill. My hands gripped the armrests like there was no tomorrow. But then, after the initial drop, excitement flared through me. “This is the best rollercoaster ever!” I thought to myself. The coaster took me up, down, and all around. It felt like I was flying, we were going so fast. But, to my despair, all roller coasters end. As we pulled up to the dismount station, I thought to myself, “I’m never going to forget this!”
