I was bouncing up and down in my car seat my seat belt trying to keep a hold of me. I was so excited to finally get to go to six flags. As we pulled up to get into the parking lot, they wind rushed through my hair, I stuck my head out the window to get a better view of six flags. The rides going back in forth and the people eagerly waiting in line to get in. we pulled up to a parking. The car came to a stopped, everyone jolted forward and then back in their seats. I opened the door stepping out and letting the rest of the people come out. The door slammed behind me and echoed through the parking lot. We made our way getting closer and closer to the amusement park, my older cousins were walking behind me and the young ones who were running across the street playing, my uncle screamed at them to not play in the street.
We had finally arrived at the front of the amusement park. We all waited anxiously to get our tickets. Finally we had reached the front of the line and we entered the park we walked past all of the stores. We all rushed to get in line but were stopped by my uncle, who said we must have lunch before we did anything else. So I gobbled down my food, that greased my hands and filled the plate with ketchup. Afterwards, when everyone was done with their food, we got up but was stopped again and was warned by our uncle to wait for our food to settle. But my ignorant self just kept running into the line.
My stomach had butterflies flying left and right. After all of
It was the summer of 2015, and this was an usual summer; hot and humid. Me being a college student at Emory University and working at Six Flags I was always busy. Today was one of those days. I have to clock in at Six Flags at 6:00 pm, and then be on time for finals at 8:00 pm.
The most memorable day that I could recollect would be a visit to six flags in Maryland. My trip to six flags was special, due to the fact that I had a chance to spend time with my family. The colossal amusement park where both family and friends can retreat was exciting to me.. It was more nostalgic for me when I visited the amusement park because I was a minor at that time. The cause for me and my family going to six flags was for my birthday. My birthday was November 27th that same weekend we vacationed to the amusement park. I was overly excited to be there, it was my first experience going to six flags.
There were thoughts of actually dying and that gave me a strong excitement. The ride had begun it was slowly going up at first I could see myself getting higher and watch my mom wave at me. All of a sudden the ride had stopped. It was about to get much faster and at that exact moment my mind went blank. The ride had started going up instantaneously as I started to yell at the top of my lungs. I was faced toward the theme park as I went higher I felt butterflies squeeze my stomach. Once I reached the top the ride it stopped moving. The whole theme park was so small from the top of the ride I was surprised to realize that my mom looked like an ant. The rays of the sun were flashing into my face but I was feeling fantastic. Suddenly, there was a sound of gas release and boom the ride started to go down and things started to get bigger again.
About seven years ago, I went to Six Flags for the first time ever. I was only about ten years old at the time, and of course I was extremely nervous. I had a lot of questions about it because of course it was all new to me with it being my first time going to an amusement park. I had asked about the big rides they have of course, the really popular water park they have at Six Flags, and of course I had to ask about the good amusement park food. As soon as I got there, my heart instantly dropped.
I hopped in Dad’s car to head to Disney World in Florida. It took us 30
We were all scared. My grandpa, dad and I running straight into the track. The only thought there was in my mind was, he isn 't okay. Making sure that he turns over and lays on his back as someone calls 911, I left to go get the cart from the trailer. As I left the track to get it, I start crying, fearing the worst. I run back the track and have my dad help me put the car on the trailer cart and pull it back to the trailer and run back to my uncle. As I got back to my uncle, he was talking some intolerable words. After a few minuets, I heard my name from him.
I was standing in line with my sister and cousin waiting to get on the “Viper”. We were at Six Flags having already been in the long line an hour and a half. We all went on our favorite rides, then we decided to go on the roller-coaster. This was going to be my very first ever roller-coaster in my life. Then the roller coaster conductor told us to get on the coaster. I jumped in, put my seatbelt on and listened to the safety precautions. Then the conductor pressed the button and we were off.
“I don’t wanna die!”, the lady next to me screamed. My already scared mind was now even more afraid. It had all started when I wanted to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain. It was Summer 2015 and we were in Los Angeles at the time. After much begging with my parents, we finally decided to go to Six Flags. As we pulled into the parking lot, I was amazed at how tall the rides were. Then I felt my heart sink as I started to feel nervous. We bought our tickets and walked to the Lex Luthor’s Drop of Doom ride. My dad said that it would be a good ride to get us into the mood. As we walked to the line, I could feel the heat of the black asphalt reflecting back onto me. It was over 30 degrees and there was no nearby shade. The sun was shining in my eyes, but we eventually made it to the lineup. The line was located in a building resembling a shed. The moment we stepped in, I could feel the air conditioning cooling my face. This was it, only half an hour worth of waiting in line left. Eventually, we started to move in the line and soon we got to the point where the line exits the shed and is outside. We were almost there. I could feel it! Then people started pushing against us. I heard murmur in the crowds. People were leaving the line. I asked one of the Six Flags employees what was happening. She told me that the ride had broken down and they were waiting to repair it. My heart started racing and my mind began to panic. The threat of the ride breaking down on me and potentially dying
On October 28th, 2017 my mother said “here” and gave me $30. “What’s this for?” I asked. “$10 is for lunch and the other $20 is for you to go to Six Flags with your friends (Keion Flenoid, Kamaurion Stokes, and Kelly Dang.) after your chess tournament.” The next morning, my mother took me to my chess tournament where me and my team (Gateway Middle Chess club) placed fourth in the tournament.
My artifact that shows my success is a cheer trophy that my team and I won in Vegas at a competition. The trophy is significant to me because it took a lot of hard work for our team to perform at this competition. Our team has never worked together so well and had more dedication than ever because that first place trophy is something we all wanted.
Besides all the bad things about it, the park does have its good things. Six flags has a variety of places and activities families can do. The park has Thrill rides for adults and kids, water parks, themes areas, concerts and shows, restaurants, game venues and retail outlets (Six Flags). Families can have a good time visiting each of those areas. The park has more than 100 rides (Six Flags) where kids, adults, and families together can enjoy. The type of rides that six flag has are very exciting and fun to ride. They give you a great experience. The more popular rides tend to have longer lines so it would be advised to visit those rides as soon as the park opens (Six Flags).
At Six Flags New England, a teen lesbian couple were attacked by two women which alleged to be a hate crime. The two women attacked and injured the lesbian couple because they had observed the couple kissing. The women could have had an negative experience with a lesbian, which would make them want to attack, or they could have grew up in a household where lesbian was not allowed and they stuck with them as they have gotten older. Whatever the case may be, the lesbian couple did not deserve to be harmed in any way for being themselves. The lesbian couple was minding their business, having a good time with one another at six flags. This would make a person question did the two attackers come to six flags to start conflict or to have fun?
Have you ever used a tap-to-pay credit card or walked through an automatic door? Have you ever used the GPS on a cellphone or gotten shopping suggestions while browsing a shopping website? Chances are that anyone could answer yes to most of those questions, and if so they have potentially already been picked up by a big data system. Extremely similar techniques of collecting data are being used in the Disney World of today so that Disney can know where their consumers have been, what they look at, and what they buy. Imagine Disney as a shepherd who was struggling to keep up with his ever-growing “flock” of “sheep” — or the people visiting Disney World park and resort; Disney decided that in order to better manage the influx of guests he

Then, my family and I went to Hershey Park as a birthday gift for me. At the entrance, I saw an enormous light blue and bright yellow water slide that almost looked like half of a tornado. It was a really hot day, the temperature was almost 87 degrees. We walked over to the water section, and I was amazed how big it was, It was like a pool with water slides for gods. My brother told me right away, “We must go on that slide,” and that was the moment I knew I would go on that gigantic water slide, I was relieved because I desperately needed a something to refresh myself, and I was scared. When I was waiting in-line I went up so many stairs, which took a while. Finally, I was where the slide started, My brother’s back was facing the slide and I was facing the slide on the tube. “Shahan, are you ready? ” My brother asked me,
