Life would be so different if our family was a family of archaeologists…. My life now is just the way I like it, my lacrosse team is going to the finals, and I do not Believe there will be a team that I can stay on as long as the finals. But one perk is that instead of snowball fights we can do Sandball fights...Exciting? We can also play Hide and Go Seek I infer that it would be a very long game ¨in a vast open land of nothing.¨ I do believe that I would not like to play said game even if I knew where everyone was. A typical day on ¨The Dig´s...¨ A day on the sight would make school

The object of softball is to score runs by hitting the ball and touching all the bases without being tagged or thrown out. Softball games last for seven innings. The pitcher will pitch to a batter until one of four things happens: The batter gets three strikes against him/her. A strike occurs when the batter swings at a pitch but misses it or hits it foul with less than two strikes against him/her, or when the pitch passes through the strike zone but the batter does not swing at it. The pitcher throws four "balls," which are pitches that fail to pass through the strike zone and which are not swung at by the batter. In this case the batter "walks," meaning he or she is awarded first base. The pitcher hits the batter with a pitch. In this case,
Death by Theory, written by Adrian Praetzellis, is an engaging and informational book written in a novelistic way that engages the reader to think critically about archaeology. Compared to other forms of informational text about archaeology, Death by Theory teaches archaeological theory by telling a story that incorporates the different theories of archaeology in a realistic setting. While standard textbooks about the theory of archaeology can come off a bit dry, Death by Theory skips the standard definitions and applies this in a way that aids the reader in understanding how these theories and terms can be applied in an actual archaeological setting. This text illustrates the adventure of plucky archaeologist Dr. Hannah Green and her nephew Sean Doyle as they seek to explain an unusual archaeological site while dealing with real life archaeological struggles. The protagonists deal with an egotistical colleague of Dr. Green who sought her out as a consult on a particularly strange archaeological case. All the while dealing with cults, the media, and incompatible data.
“This championship is the most important game, yet the team is more important than that regardless. On the off chance that I surrender one hit, that I may remove you for the game if you mess up.
We had just started the last summer break before our first year of high school starts before Michael started interfering with our relationship. Bradley is a lover of baseball and has baseball games every weekend, but I, Kelsey had either basketball or volleyball practice or a game every day of the week day. Considering we were both busy at different times it made it hard for us to see each other. We tried to go to each other's games as much as possible, but one baseball game changed it all.
One day we had a softball game against Arcadia. It was nice outside. Everyone was happy to play that day.
Mattball was most meaningful to me, When were first started we were outrageously outmatched. It was freshman vs Juniors being the little fresh out of middle school boys we were facing men who shave twice a day was intimidating. a "David vs Goliath situation expect we were smacked. Day's went by where no one was able to get on base. Games going from 0-21 and higher. They screamed sounds triumph and running us over as we were forced to clean up and shamefully drag the matts back into the closet. Dreaming for the day we could scream with triumph. Then it happen, Ian Millholland the 7th round kicker. a nobody at the time, Kick the ball and it insistently went into the basket. An instant 100 points a free victory. Screams of joy were heard
“Not everyone is going to see or accept you for who you are, and you have to accept that.” I was told this quote everyday by my mother. Today was no different, walking up to the raked field, quote on my mind , eyes on the fresh red clay, and the sound of my metal cleats against the concrete. I was ready for this day. After months of hard work from November to February , the tryouts for Central softball team were over. Over the span of four months, I pushed myself harder than I ever thought I could, but what I did never seemed to be enough for the team.
The muggy air made my hair cling to my neck with sweat. I heard the clunk of a bright yellow ball hitting the yellow bat. My head spun around watching the girl ran the bases while the team behind her scrambled towards the ball. My team was watching the game that determined who we play in the championship game.
Traditionally, women have been known as the less dominant sex. They have been stereotyped as being only housewives and bearers of the children. Many interesting characters in literature are conceived from the tension women have faced with men. This tension is derived from men; society, in general; and within a woman herself. Kate Chopin‘s short story, “The Story of an Hour”, focus on a woman’s dilemma near the turn of the 19th century. Contradicting the “normal” or sad assumption of death, “The Story of an Hour” illustrates the significance of death representing freedom. The Story narrates about an hour of Louise Mallard’s life, as she tries to understand, and deal with her feelings of her husbands death.
The stickers say “Caution Heavy 35 lbs. and over,” and were from the United States Postal Service. I assumed they were for shipping packages over 35 pounds, and to tell people to be cautious because the package is heavy. In the video I watched someone was opening packages that fans sent him. Someone

It was a bright sunny day with the weather not scorching hot and a perfect day for baseball. The grass was green and very cold and watery. The first time I hit a homerun I was so amazed especially cause I’m not a big hitter. I was almost up to bat, and I really wanted to redeem myself cause I was walked both times I was up. I really wanted a good game because most of my family was there so I can impress them.
In The Sand Child, Tahar Ben Jelloun composes a multi-layered tale about Ahmed, a woman socialized as a man, who struggles to reclaim her sexuality. Ben Jelloun contrasts gender and sexual orientation to suggest that a person’s characteristics can be shaped and changed by will, but his sexuality is predisposed and will be the deciding factor of how he will act and identify himself within his community.
“C’mon Oren we’re going to be late for practice” explained Eric with concern. Eric and Oren just got done with their Calculus II class at the end of the day and have to go halfway across campus to get to the baseball field. Once his fingers started to hurt, he puts his headphones in and drifted off to sleep.
