Newborn Photographer Research Paper

Before receiving the Real Care Baby, I knew it took a lot of work to care for a newborn. I now know that it takes a lot more than I thought. The forty-eight hours I had the baby were frustrating, exhausting, and stressful. It’s a lot of hard work, but I’m sure if it were a real child it would totally be worth it.

​This picture was taken for assignment five, which was portraits. To get this shot, I told Morgan to wear a green colored shirt to be in contrast with the background. I had the lights set to the left of me so that she would get side lighting and I also flipped the light off so that the studio lights were the only source of light. I a little trouble with the lighting, but I was able to work around it and I feel that it turned out pretty good. Adorable Delainey Jennel was a cute little peanut any newborn photographer would have loved having in their studio. What a beautiful head of hair she had with a wisp of curl over her ear too! Kamesha and Correy brought Delainey into the studio at seven days old. This December baby was born at 11:37 on the morning of the 10th. She weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and measured 20 inches.

Sloan Smyth was brought into my newborn photographer studio by her parents, Sara and Austin. At the time of her shoot, she was 9 days new. Born on May 24th, she weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and measured 19 3/4 inches.

Working with newborns and premature babies can be a stressful job. A neonatologist mainly focuses on high-risk cases where babies cannot be delivered without complications, such as heart and lung failure, and many other birth defects. This career is a dexterous job, so it requires a lot of patience and skill. It is expected to grow over the next 10 years, as the medical field is always in need of doctors and surgeons. A neonatologist is a great career for people who like the medical field, enjoy working with others, and have a big heart to care for infants and their families.

Newborn photography is a fairly new concept and it becoming more and more popular with every year that passes. At 12 days new, little Carter Joseph was brought into my baby photographer studio. I'd met parents, Laura and Lucas, at their maternity session. It was a treat to see them with their new little boy. Born on June 29th, Carter weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces.

One, analyzes the sperm to determine the sex and genes of the baby, and the second screens for various genetic deformities that may occur before birth, thus allowing people to only fertilize healthy embryos.

Little Solomon is a February baby having been born on the 25th of the month. He was 15 days at the time of his session. Solomon weighed 5 pounds 10 ounces at birth and was still such a peanut at his session two weeks later.

Next is the use of color, or lack thereof. The colors in the background are very quiet and muted, mostly subdued blues and grays with hints of a deep red and brownish yellow peeking though. The colors used for the figure are browns and tans, almost as if the was painted with mud, like she is all-natural and from the earth. The range of colors would seem to have a cool tone if you were looking at them on a painter’s palette but the arrangement of color on the canvas gives the piece a warm feeling.

One character in the movie, who’s costume design was really in tone with her storyline was Baby. This photo was taken for the first Photoshop assignment. The original photo was taken when I went to my friend, Sawyers house to take a few pictures of her and a friend. The photo represents a creative touch. In editing, I changed the photo into black and white and erased the adjustment layer so her flannel was the only thing that was colored. I liked this photo because it catches the attention of the viewer right away.
