“How JROTC has prepared me to be a better citizen of the United states of America”. JROTC has prepared me to become a better citizen by teaching me how to use leadership skills and be able to cope with subordinates. It also has prepared me to be a better citizen by showing me what the 7 army values are and what they mean. Some of the army values are respect, honor, integrity, and personal courage. JROTC has showed me how to do things different from the way I thought things should be done and how to march and be able to keep a company and platoon together when marching. Since I know a lot about the JROTC I am able to help other people become better citizens like I was taught. I am also a better citizen because i have the discipline not to do certain things that I did before I took the JROTC class.

JROTC, also known as Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, is a program that is offered in high school, which gives students an introduction to the U.S. Army. The main mission of this program is to motivate young people to become better citizens. This program teaches self-discipline, confidence, and pride in a job well done. It offers many challenges and opportunities which is surely able to increase one’s life skills and leadership skills, such as sharpening your communication skills, strengthen your self-esteem, and improving your physical fitness. Throughout its century-long history, multiple things had changed, while other things stayed the same, but the ROTC program will continue to remain as a promising existence for years to come.

He is a very energetic and approachable mascot who will make going to the mascot hall of fame an enjoyable experience. On the other hand, some people argue that lions are dangerous and Spartacat wouldn’t be the best idol for kids however, Spartacat should be in the mascot hall of fame because he impacts the hockey games for the Ottawa Senators, teaches kids to skate, interacts with other mascots, he volunteers his time at schools, and there isn’t any other lion mascot that looks like Spartacat

Safety stars By Rielly Borelli As the title indicates, Safety Stars is about hockey players who tried to make their game a safer one. The initial example is former Montreal Canadians goaltender Jacques Plante, the first goalie to wear a mask. Without one, Plante realized after being hit in the face, a goalie could easily be seriously injured, or even killed, by a puck which can travel at 160 kms an hour. Strange as it may seem today when goalies are required to wear masks and the other players must wear helmets in order to try and prevent concussions, team managers were initially strongly opposed.

In the beginning, JROTC was established in 1916 when Congress passed the National Defense Act. The main purpose of JROTC was to motivate young men and women to be better citizens. This all started in Norwich Vermont. Not much has changed since then. Their mission before is still the same as their mission now.

In this paper, I will discuss the tragedy incident of Bruce Kevin Lee. First, I will state his background and his journey to the Sheriff’s Department. Next, I will present his expertise in collision diagram/accident reconstruction. Then, I will analyze his final call that lead to his end of watch. Lastly, I will diagnose the call, and point out what went right, and what went wrong. My purpose on this paper is to remember Bruce Kevin Lee and to honor not just him but all the officers who are willing to go out on the streets to protect our community.

Most of us take breathing for granted but for Skylar every breath was a miracle. Skylar has had Cystic Fibrosis since the age of three.
