White Wolf Mountain is a place of mystery. The Mountain is a majestic monolith, rising above all others and overlooking the valley it created. It harbors a Power older than any living thing on Earth. The Power has grown over centuries, millennia, eons—never having been created, but having always existed. Nobody knows how it came to be, but they do know this: the Power is changing, evolving all the time. It sees all but it does not know all. The Power likes to learn. It likes to test its subjects and watch the outcome. The Power is a sentient being. Though it has no physical form and is confined to the Mountain, its influence extends far beyond its home of rock.

If it lose its proper nourishment, there is nothing which will not decay away.” ( Tzu, Pg. 1) When he says this at the end of The Trees Of The Niu Mountain, it sounds like he is giving people a choice between being an honest person and being that beautiful colorful mountain or being bad natured and making bad decisions. Making bad decisions can result in people becoming the dull mountain with no color because people cut down the trees and let life on the mountain decay away. Basically, he is saying people can be honest and good and continue to practice good qualities and be a cooperative and constructive person or they can decide to be dishonest, disobedient, and unreasonably obstructive. I think that the author is also saying that people can adapt. Good natured people can make mistakes that move them to the bad side, but it doesn’t mean they are bad human natured. People still have an opportunity to fix things and find their way back to being their original state of being good human

Human nature is what tells us apart from each other and makes us distinctly human. Our nature and understanding is what makes us different from animals and other creations due to our ability to think and reason. No other creature on this earth has that given ability. Our reason gives us the upper hand and allows us to reflect on our nature and behaviors that allows us to make changes and transform.
