Presumably, the bandwidth allocated to communicate with the base station plays a key role in determining the computing nodes. Figure 3.6 shows the total energy consumption for every decision time interval Ts with an overlap factor z = 0.7. Precisely, when the available bandwidth is 125 Kbps, each node communicates directly to the base station. However, when the bandwidth is increased, then the aggregating behavior can be observed.
