When I first started working on my concentration, I planned on exploring the relationship between people and technology. As the exam date was steadily approaching, I only had a couple of pieces completed, so time was of the essence. However, I was notified by my teacher that I wasn’t allowed to use two of the pieces I created because the school district deemed them ‘not appropriate for a high school level portfolio’ and she could get into trouble, or even fired, if I included them in my portfolio. As a student, I was conflicted because I loved the art that I created, but I also love my teacher and I would never want her to get into trouble because my actions. So, I decided to change my concentration with a week left before the exam date. Each

2a. Habituation is when the response to a certain stimuli decrease when it becomes frequent. For example, when I first moved into my apartment I would always hear the train at nighttime and it would keep me up or wake me up when it would start passing by. After a month or so, my body stopped responding to the train blowing its horn when it would pass. It is an appropriate example because after I became habituated to the sound, I started getting more sleep and more sleep meant a restful night to recharge for the next day.
Part 3: Person 2 was the Chemistry tutor and person 1 was the student who needed help with her Chemistry stuff. When person 2 asked person one a question or explain something to person 1, she would either nod or shake her head. On the one hand, when person 1 nodded, I interpreted that behavior as “Yes that is right, I agree with that, or I understand that.” In this culture, we all used the nodding sign in an agreeable situation and shaking our head from left to right was used in the opposite situations. Person 1 asked questions to person 2 when she could not figure something out. By what person 1 displayed during the observation was that she was trying to learning something that unfamiliar to her. Person 2, he answered person 1’s questions, elaborated things to her, was teaching her the stuff that he had learned from past experience. The specific evolutionary problems they showed here were teaching and learning. Person 2 was teaching person 1 Chemistry stuff that she did not know. During a lecture class, L. Meek, mentioned that specie like humans passing down knowledge to other people when they were not related and the other person do not necessary need to get any reciprocity from
You are correct and I agree with you. My middle daughter who is going into her JR year, received a bad grade. She came home upset and questioning the grade her teacher gave her. I read the paper she wrote and read it again just to make sure I understand what was written. The teacher had a few footnotes that stated she was plagiarizing. I asked my daughter where did she retrieve her information and she stated the internet, I asked her did she just copy and paste and she said yes. I had to explain to her that when your copying and pasting from any source besides your own and your not submitting a reference it is plagiarism. Oh course she gave me the look as though I was speaking a foreign language.
It was just a typical night on April 20th, 2015, that I was on my computer talking with my friend through Skype who gave me the idea to make an account on Skout because I was stil trying to get over the break up with Chris. And that's how it all started.... I was just scrolling down then I noticed a certain picture of someone that caught my attention. And it was YOU. I knew from the moment I saw your picture on Skout I know you were gonna be someone special in my life. I didn't know wether or not to message you first or wait and see if you were to ever message me first. But my friend told me to take the courage to send you a simple message to see if you would even message. The next day to my suprise to see that you had actually replied. You

The class is divided into three racial and ethnic groups which are Latino or Hispanic, African Americans, and Asian American. There are about 1 Asian American, 6 Latino or Hispanic, and 9 African Americans.

This semester the teacher for my major class are Todd Kasow(film music editing),Ronald Sadoff(film music history). My private lesson teacher is Irwin L Fisch, I think he is a serious and responsible teacher, really like him so my next semester I will study with him again. We have recording session each semester. In the first semester, we have 2 recording sessions. One is guitar(or other plucked string instruments), another is flute and cello. In the later semester, we will do a percussion session, string session and full orchestra session. All of the recording sessions we need to choose a 2 minutes video to scoring. So the private lesson can help us to prepare for the recording sessions. The next semester I will take the "Scoring for film and
There are two types of classes in high school. The first type of class is the very boring one, the one we dread going to. The second type, is the class that interests us. Mrs.Anderson’s math class belongs to the first category. Math is a great subject, but there needs to be a good teacher to make the class interesting. Mrs.Anderson is the age of my grandma and she talks as if she was dying. It is very hard to understand what she is saying because she talks so quietly and it seems that talking causes her pain. Mrs.Anderson’s teaching style is giving the students worksheets and making the students learn the material from reading the sheets. The worksheets are effortless but the tests are extremely difficult. The next test we are having is on probability, and a group of five boys
I would have to say that even though I would approach the assignment differently, I would, however, did the same in the fact that I would not have canceled my prior commitments because of the paper. I am a schedule fanatic, I have rarely ever in my life done something spontaneous, in other words I need list and get frustrated when my schedules are interfered with. So, I would have to keep my prior arrangements but find time in between to do the assignment. For example, on Friday when I got home I would have at least started working on the details in which I would write about. As we have learned in this course, I would have started my prewriting before I would have gone to the movies, and when I got back from the movies I would look over my
1) One of the aspects I really enjoyed for this chapter is it is all about different ways writing can be used besides writing an essay paper in High school. I remember in high school how if I had to type a paper or write a paper how I hated it because you had to go through the process of writing and analyzing a paper and it always had to be 3 pages long. Chapter 2 is all about taking your students write more, which I thought would be a horrible idea, but have them write different things besides an essay paper.
My father is a senior design hardware engineer, and consequently he works with many software engineers. For an eighth grade project, I interviewed one of my father’s coworkers, where I learn some of the kinds of projects that software engineers work on. I wanted to get a feel for programming to see if I would like it, which is why when I was a sophomore in high school, I enrolled in an online coding course called introduction to computer science.
Knowing that the this teacher was treating me differently I started asking more question on things I didn’t understand so I could get some response back or at list show her that I was intelligent but during a parents and teacher conference I was called out for asking too many question. This was just too much for me to handle. First she ignores me when I want to answer the question and complains when I have question what I want to ask. Knowing she called me out for this I talked to her and asked for reason why I was never given any opportunity to show her my knowledge and why I didn’t get those chance to present those works and project where I could have easily gotten extra credits. Only explanation she gave to me was that she thought that language barrier prevented me from explaining so she didn’t picked me. This made me furious knowing this
Being able to compress indexes and dictionaries and yet still use them functionally is very worthwhile. Given my own experience with information retrieval and my understanding of how internet 4.0 is developing this type of function seems like a key feature to achieving a functional system. I’m looking forward to what we are doing with our own project going forward.
