Whenever there is a question about what assignments are due, please remember this syllabus is considered to be the ruling document.

Submit a hard copy of the report at the beginning of class on the due date and submit it into SafeAssign by the end of the day. Your assignment will be graded if both the hard copy and the digital copy are submitted by the specified date and time.

20. If you find that you are struggling to understand the material in this course, name four resources that BC or the instructor offers to help you be successful in the course.

All assignments are due on the assigned dates that are scheduled in class. Assignments are considered late if they are not turned in on the time that was designated to be handed in. All assignments turned in by next class period will be subjected to a non-negotiable 75% penalty. If it is handed in two days after the designated date, there will be a non-negotiable 50% penalty. Late work will not be accepted nor evaluated if turned in three or more class periods after the assignment was due.

As the first activity in this course, please read the syllabus and Student Expectations. After reading the syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will then complete the related checklist found in Module/Week 1.

The course material is difficult to understand and the course is moving at an extremely fast pace. Professor McQueen is an excellent instructor. His syllabus goes into great detail about what expectations students should have for the course, including timelines and requirements. Professor McQueen responds promptly and professionally to all email questions and concerns. There is never a delay on the posting of assignments; and when turned in, assignments are graded in a timely manner. He also gives useful feedback concerning the submission and areas for improvement. Professor McQueen encourages students to engage with one another in the discussion boards, promoting and educational environment in which students are able to apply the concepts of the course beyond the direct application of the textbook. In the Unit 2 Seminar we discussed three main points: finding the KU library, points on how to conduct research, and using APA. Instructions on how to access the Kaplan University library were explained and addressed. The details of how to contact the librarian via email or chat and points on how to search the database were given. We were encouraged to visit the site and check out the different components to familiarize ourselves with using the site. We were told that there were also instructions posted in the doc sharing tab on “Finding the KU Library Databases” to assist us in our discussion board assignment.
