Home is where Hogwarts is. One of the main themes of Harry Potter is Home and we all know the saying that home is where the heart is, and Harry’s and everyone who read the book or saw the movie, their heart is at Hogwarts. Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry, is a school located in highlands of Scotland. Nobody knows the precise location of the school because long time ago it was rendered unplottable. The humans see the school as a castle which was abandoned. Other schools like Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and the Durmstrang are also rendered unplottable. Children with magic abilities will get a letter by the School via an owl post when they’re eleven years old. And if a child is human, a professor of Hogwarts will come to inform the child's parents. Hogwarts moto is Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillanddus which means Never Tickle A Sleeping Dragon.…show more content…
The castle has extensive lands such as Forbidden forest, a full size Quidditch field, Black Lake, An Owlery for all students who own an owl and several greenhouses. There are three highest towers in Hogwarts. Which are - the Astronomy Tower, the Ravenclaw Tower and the Gryffindor Tower. The school is also known for its many changes in layout throughout the years, like regenerating itself after the Battle Of Hogwarts.
Hogwarts has many charms and spells on and around it so no muggle can see it. No electronic devices and electricity is found at the school.
Hogwarts School was founded by two witches and two wizards : Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin. Each of them illustrated a bearing of personality that they wanted to bring out in new students. Slytherin, shortly after founding the school had a fall out with the other founders about blood purity, and wanted only the pure blood students to take admission.
