Obstacles. What are they? Obstacles are every day little things, big or small. An obstacle could be getting up in the morning, going to school or work, homework, making dinner, or maybe training for a marathon. We may not realize it, but we face some type of obstacle every day. Different people experience different obstacles, for some people a really difficult obstacle can be easy for others and vise versa. Everyone handles their obstacles in life differently. Overcoming an obstacle can feel very refreshing because we accomplished something, and who doesn’t love that feeling of achieving something? An obstacle i’m pretty sure we’ve all faced is trying to walk when we were babies. We always see those adorable videos of baby giraffes , cows, or deers trying to stand up right after they’re born, they struggle to stand on their own and their legs shake because they can’t hold the weight. But eventually they’re walking and running all over the place. Even though they are animals they don’t get up because they are determined to stand. If people don’t have the determination to …show more content…
No one would have the determination to do things that get in someone’s way because nothing would be in their way. We would be living in an almost “perfect” world. In a way we need obstacles to become stronger, we wouldn’t know how to problem solve or do anything. An obstacle i’ve faced is having sleepovers with my friends. I would have really bad separation and couldn’t even stay the night at my neighbor’s house or my grandparents. I would wake up at 2 or 3 in the morning and cry because I wanted to go home. It was embarrassing, but now I have no problem staying the night anywhere. If I never overcame that obstacle I would be missing out on all the fun that most other people
Obstacles change our way of thought and affect our emotions. A person’s values change as well as their character and they develop an understanding on their situation. Through the hardships of any situation, there is some way or another a solution only in the presence of desire.
Obstacles. Everyone has been forced to overcome them at some point in their life. These obstacles have shaped everyone and helped them become the person they are today. Challenges are a part of life and everyone will face them at some point in their life, but it is how people handle it that determines their future. This idea can be seen in many pieces of text including the following poems. “Invictus” by William Ernest Henley and “The Rose That Grew From Concrete” by Tupac both convey the idea that obstacles are important in everyone’s life and help shape everyone as a person on the way to their dream.
Obstacles are unavoidable parts of our lives. Obstacles constantly come in the way and slow us down. However, these obstacles should not be viewed as being harmful. They are essential factors in order for one to succeed. They can change the course of one’s life, and encourage one to work harder. Therefore, obstacles can be beneficial.
In life there will be a lot of obstacles. Some obstacles just come out of nowhere, and some you may bring upon yourself. But without struggle you will not learn how to take care of yourself. Life is not always fare, you have to take the good with the bad. Be strong and keep moving. You will get there eventually if you stay focused.
Life is like an obstacle course, you run into multiple obstacles on the way to the finish line, and there's no telling how many hindrances you may encounter. Very few people can go their whole life without obstacles along the way, others can’t seem to get away from them, but with every obstacle comes a beneficial or deleterious concomitant.
“Well, these sad and hopeless obstacles are welcome in one sense, for they enable us to look with indifference upon the cruel satires that Fate loves to indulge in” (Thomas Hardy). The definition of an obstacle is a thing, mental or physical, that blocks one's way or prevents or hinders progress. A common theme in literature is having to do with overcoming obstacles and ways to solve problems despite them. The mockingbird from Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird, Harrison Bergeron from Kurt Vonnegut Jr.’s “Harrison Bergeron,” and the situations from Rudyard Kipling’s “If” each function as a symbol to reveal that you will have to overcome obstacles no matter what.
Everyone has different aspects of life that come with multiple obstacles. As many think they aren’t able to overcome and moving fourth, believing they will fall apart and behind everyone else. Most of mankind has experience some type of obstacles and we all have a wide arrangement on how to cope and overcome. The truth is, we only see challenges and obstacles when we take our eyes off the goal. Every goal has a challenges but once we overcome the world becomes bigger.
An obstacle I have overcome in my life is school. In school I have to work a little bit harder than others so i don’t fall behind. My choice to try harder helped me to keep going. If I didnt choose to work harder and keep going i would never get anywhere in life. I think having to work harder than others pushes me to be my best and makes me a stronger person.
There are plenty of obstacles, challenges and problems out there ready to get right in the way of plans, dreams and goals; there’s those that will grow into bigger problems and those that will reduce in size, if not resolved. Depending on whether, we decide to avoid them or face them head on; which we all have done at one time or another in our lives and got us to where we’re at today. Then there’s everyday life, that throws new complications and encounters at us every day; which is also another thing that everyone is endlessly faced with, and what we must deal with immediately to survive and overcome; prior to allowing it grow bigger and get out of control. Those too are obstacles, challenges and problems that make life fascinating and overcoming them; is what makes life meaningful.
"If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere" Frank A. Clark. Everyone has experienced challenges and difficulties in his life which made him stronger, and able to endure life's obstacles. I, like everyone, have faced impediments that made me feel powerless, hopeless, and miserable. Even though sometimes I thought my obstacles are too small to mention, but now I believe they have role which brought me to where I am today.
In life, there are obstacles that we all have to overcome one way or another. Obstacles come on various levels and often it’s not about the battle, it’s about the impact of hardship on your life that results from the battle. Under one occurrence that I’m grappling with now, I know it’s something I have to go through to grow, and that it’s all in the will of God.
With every single goal that could possibly exist, obstacles will occur in the process of achieving that goal. Whether small or big, something has to be in the way for you to acknowledge it is just how you play the game. But these obscure blockages aren’t always to be fought hand and hand and beaten until you are crowned all mighty victor of the obstacle. No most of them should be dealt with in a different manner. A manner of endurance.
We all have faced an obstacle in our lives at some point in our lives. How and if we overcome those obstacles is entirely up to us as individuals. For me personally, the biggest obstacle that I have ever had to overcome has been depression. It has plagued my life for many years and I am just beginning to conquer it.
Some people think that having obstacles in your life is to ruin what you are trying to accomplish. If you didn't have those obstacles, then everyone's life would be easy, and what would be the point? Having obstacles in your life should help you more to keep going, and to make your life better in a way that you won't consider having.
Many people choose to avoid obstacles and give up once it has appeared. However, an obstacle is more so of a test to see your willingness to continue going. Strengthening your abilities to think quickly and achieve greater outcomes.
