In “The Fashion Industry: Free to be an Individual” by Hannah Berry, Hannah emphasizes how social media especially advertisements pressure females to use certain product to in order to be considered beautiful. She also acknowledges the current effort of advertisement today to more realistically depicts of women. In addition, these advertisements use the modern women look to advertise products to increase women self-esteem and to encourage women to be comfortable with one’s image.
The claim presented in the article is how ads often set unrealistic beauty standards, and how the author encourages them to “break free” from these standards by giving two examples on how ads should be compelled.
Marginalization of companies is the coming together of two or more companies that offer similar goods and services to form one legal entity. Several companies merge for the maximization of profits from their products, and reduce competition from other companies that perform similar duties. Over the years, several fashion companies have merged in the fashion industry. However, government involvement in the market economy aids in controlling and protecting both the consumer's and the fashion industry itself.
II. Over the past few years, fast fashion has been an extremely hot segment and source to help some clothing companies increasing on their economic growth.
The fashion industry is certainly not for the faint of heart. It is an industry full of ups and down. And it is one that is quite labor-intensive. Fashionable apparel begins as the aesthetic brainchild of a designer (or team of designers). And as the item(s) gain life, each works its way through the many facets of the manufacturing process.
I will be linking this task with my project of a creating a website about the Fashion and its evolution. Firstly, I would like to show you how the fashion has evolved through the time including the clothes and accessories. Secondly, I would Describe which clothes are fashionable and what people want to wear nowadays and Finally , I Would give you a list of the top10 brand of Clothes fashion. In addition I will give you examples about some celebrities and their relation to the brand and the fashion.
The three industries that stuck out to me were Landscaping, Pet Grooming and Fashion. Out of these three, Fashion stood out the most because of the future growth rate, which by 2025 it will grow 50% and in 2017 it’s already at 37%.
The runway, cameras, models and lights are enough to intoxicate anyone. But, fashion is about more than being part of the latest trendy fashion show. It's about putting great ideas on people. The fashion industry has many jobs and many levels. For example, there's the latest hot Italian designer and there the designer who sells out by moving clothes to the local budget-friendly department store.
Mariam Bartolozzi not only is a hardworking student but also an amazing kindhearted person who is determined to find success in the future. Mariam is currently a senior and is excited for what this year will bring. While being one of the presidents of the Fashion Club, she hopes to inspire many people in the fashion industry. After finishing school, Mariam dreams of becoming a head director or working for a fashion magazine company. Drawing, designing, watching sports and hanging out with friends are a few things she enjoys doing in her free time. Something Mariam looks forward to this year is improving the Fashion Club, meeting new people and most importantly, enjoying her last year in high school. She would love to travel to Italy, Brazil
According to the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress, the fashion is a nearly $250 billion dollars industry in the United States alone and a $1.2 Trillion industry worldwide. Although they account for roughly 17,000 high end jobs in the United States they only account for 144,000 middle range workers and very limited low end manufacturing workers. As with many manufacturing jobs they have been outsourced overseas to places like India and China. In those countries there are far fewer regulations and far fewer organizations to support higher wages and employee safety. In China they use intentional suppression of their people, money manipulations and trade in balances to keep the working population poor and labor cheap. This attracts American companies looking for cheap manufacturing and to avoid the costly regulatory systems in the U.S. Unfortunately this also means that the expensive shirt you are wearing was very likely made through the twenty first century’s form of slave labor.
20th century can be named as the era where there was a significant development of the fashion industry. During this century the world experienced two world wars and this itself brought immense

This work is an introduction to the fashion industry of Pakistan which has made quite a lot of progress in just a few years. Ten to fifteen years from now, this industry was still unknown to actually exist to the masses. Later with the formation of fashion councils and education centers under the enthusiastic few who wanted to make a difference and promulgate this very institution of fashion, did the very fashion industry took its concrete contour from the old tailor culture that formerly existed. Today it is one of the most progressing industries in the country.
