I want to be a student representative to the Pasco board of directors because it will be a tremendous achievement that will help greatly in my academic interests. Not only so but I believe that I could best interpret the concerns and doubts of every single student at Chiawana. From grades, testing, and even academic ability. I’m most adequate, as a result that I’ve been there done that. I know what it is like waking up every day with disappointment of my current grades, or to sit through a lecture not understanding a single thing.
If selected for admission, I plan to take advantage of IMSA’s unique learning opportunities by working diligently in all of my classes, joining clubs and teams to learn from my peers, and participating in Student Inquiry and Research to satisfy my curiosity and allow for more independent work. I come from a small high school with approximately one hundred students per class. Funding is a constant problem and learning opportunities are thus very limited. I’ve attempted to take as many science and math classes as possible, as well as world history, foreign language, and an advanced English course, but I still do not feel challenged. My school has done what it can to enhance my learning experience, but my math and science classes aren’t quite
Wanting to enhance my leadership skills and grow my network is what piqued my interest in becoming a board member. Experienced leadership, dedication, passion, organization skills, exceptional attention to detail and consistency are just a few qualities I can offer to the PTK officer board. I have participated in SGA at the high school and college level, volunteer on a regular basis, and work with a diverse group of people on a daily basis. My network involvement may forge new relationships and partnerships for PTK. Being a member of the Rho epsilon chapter board fits with my academic and career goals by offering opportunities to hone and grow my skills as a leader, meet and network with new people, and to receive the support needed to be
Education. It is a vital source needed in order to succeed. Though many schools offer a basic education, there are not many that offer the advanced level of learning that ASMSA provides. While attending ASMSA, I hope to be taught at a higher level that better suits my standards. ASMSA will give me the prospect to learn at a level that I can use to challenge myself to better my future.
As a transfer student, I want to feel California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) such as my home. Being ambassador, it is the best to learn about my school, share my experiences, motivate other students to work towards their goals, look for help if they need, show other students our school's resources, and make others feel special for being part of CSUF.
Throughout my school years, I have always tried to be a positive role model for younger students as well as my peers. This year I decided that the best way to serve my school was to participate in our school’s Student Leadership Council. It has proven to be a fantastic decision for me. I succeeded in getting the most votes out of all of the candidates and have had a great experience taking a leadership role in my school. I feel like I have become a much better leader and role model because of Student Leadership Council. I have been really fortunate to be exposed to the Jeter’s Leaders program, since they come to our school to mentor us as SLC members. It has been an incredible experience, and I would really love to continue with it. As an eighth grader at Saint Augustine, we are required to mentor our younger students. I
Prior to high school, my uncle was my chemistry teacher. As a food scientist, he was to me a great inventor who knew everything about the magic of taste, texture, and aroma; I still remember his lecture on “good” chocolate and how cocoa butter—solid at room temperature—melts readily in our mouths. Raised on an early appreciation for the power of applied science, I am now driven toward chemical science by a desire to uncover solutions to challenges in the modern world.
I hope to use my law degree to change the lives of mistreated children from all over the world. As a victim of child abuse, serving this community has become a part of my identity. My aspiration to represent mistreated children, albeit vitalized by personal turmoil, has been intensified through professional experience. Through my work with Child Protective Services (CPS), during an internship with a family law attorney, I developed my passion for advocating on behalf of children. While working on CPS cases, I have seen how the lives of children can improve through diligent efforts by authority figures. However, I have also witnessed the shortcoming of the system as well where there is room for improvement. These vulnerable children deserve
I have been attending Anthem Prep for five consecutive years and I am applying the role of Freshman Class Representative. To make it more interesting for our students to get involved, Anthem Prep has been making changes to its student life and topics relating to it. Though our school has made significant progress, I believe the upcoming student government will improve our student body and their lives on campus.
I understand what kinds of students are needed in this organization. In order to meet the request, I tried my best to stand up in the areas of scholarship, leadership, character and service. For academy, I am a passionate student who likes facing challenges. I maintain a G.P.A of 4.0 for two years, and became the top 2 students in my Biology, Algebra II, ESL, Honor Pre-calculus classes. I am also a math purple team member and attended the state math competition.

I am very passionate about the major, and I believe it will transfer into my work on the executive board. I want to be able to incorporate new ideas into the club. I am a hard worker and will do whatever is necessary to make sure my duties are fulfilled.
I am interested in becoming a member of FLOC because I know I have the potential to succeed as a leader at University of Texas at Arlington. My skills as a speaker and a guide make leadership something I can utilize to inspire those who follow me.
Working in both Transportation and Urban design fields was always my dream. When I took several courses in Urban transportation in undergraduate school, such as urban transportation planning and urban transportation network design, I realized this field is where I want to work. I also participated in some international conferences regarding urban transportation and sustainable design to find out how different countries are designing their network system and how they meet the needs of their community.
The position I am applying for is a teacher’s assistant for CS 370: Operating Systems. Being a computer science major, this opportunity would have various benefits for both my academic and professional careers. Working closely with the professor, I would be able to further my education in the area of operating systems. With operating systems being the core software component in every computer and phone the information I would gain would be substantial to my understanding of computer science. Being able to help teach the subject would allow me to analyze my understanding and determine which aspects I need to focus on and which I feel comfortable with, making me more confident in an interview. During my sophomore year an alumnus gave a presentation
The master of arts degree in homeland security program will provide me a deeper understanding and stronger foundation in homeland security by delving into the core elements of homeland security. This increased enlightenment will have a complementary result of better preparing me to be a knowledgeable, senior level homeland professional. As a veteran with 32 years of honorable service in the United States Army, my time spent in the military has given me a greater understanding and knowledge of the current threats that face our nation. I believe this program will provide me the opportunity to expand my understanding of the nature and sources of threats facing our social, political, and economic systems. In addition, this program will help me
