Sabastian was ordered to have weekly weight checks. It is believed that Gabriella and Shomari do not feed Sabastian properly. There were also concerns about the white area of Sabastian’s eye. The process had begun to refer Sabastian to a specialist. Sabastian was last seen 2/21/18; a visit was scheduled for the week of 2/26-3/2/18, but he had the flu. Gabriella and Shomari received new parent support, 1 on 1 parent support with basic infant care and being able to parent. Although Gabriella and Shomari received parenting support, they were unable to demonstrate what they’ve learned. On 9-17-17, the unknown male child's grandmother Faye; asked me to look at the child back. The child's left shoulder blade had a scar. The scar appeared to like someone used their two middle fingers and dug into his skin. The child was bleeding and scared. The child's grandfather (unknown) did this allegation. Faye called the child to come to her. The child was afraid to come to the grandmother. Faye stated told the child "I am not going to do anything to you." The child finally came to Faye. Mrs. Cordell stated her cases where dismissed, and she has not had any other criminal history or involvement with any criminal activity since those events occurred. Mrs. Cordell was informed that although there were criminal history, it does not mean the child will not be placed in her care, but could have negative effects on placement. The assessor also informed Mrs. Cordell that although there is criminal history, it does not mean Max will not be placed in her care. After the discussion, Mrs. Cordell voiced understanding.
