When we got inside a fancy restaurant and waited for a waiter to address us a smile broke out, because I haven't gone anywhere in a good while. I look around at my surrounding and found everything so nice and expensive by the way the food look. I look down at my clothes knowing I wasn't dress to look the part.
"You look beautiful shorty." Eli says as if he heard my thoughts. I nod my head not believing him seeing other people dress high and expensive are in here. The waiter comes to us telling us our table is ready. We follow him as we walk hand in hand to our table with people eyeing us. I felt shy and nervous for some reason. I wanted to take my hand out of Eli hand, but for some reason he tightens his grip on my hand. Before the waiter leaves he

A new waiter approach us asking how we are and if we’re ready to eat. I didn’t have much time to look at our menu, but Eli decides to order for us.
“I’ll have the 12oz steak with mash potatoes and salad, while my girl will have a large plate of chicken and shrimp alfredo pasta.” The waiter quickly writes it down on his notepad and remove the menu from our table. I look over to Eli seeing he’s already watching me.
“I like being in charge as you can see.” Eli says.
“Why didn’t you become the leader in the gang?” Eli chuckles.
“If I was the leader would you have love me instead of Nino?” His questions don’t hit me since I had a feeling he would bring Nino into this.
“How do you know I loved Nino?”
“He almost killed you, but after that you still wanted him. I think that’s safe to say that’s love.” Eli says shrugging his shoulder.
“Are you jealous?” I ask him teasing him for a change.
“Fuck yeah. I wanted you since I first laid my eyes on you. I should of came after you since I first saw you, but my dumbass told Nino I wanted you and he thought coming after you before I did would be fun.” I stay quiet as he continues to
The waitress came back to our table. She came down to the kids table and started asking what we wanted to order. It was my turn, I was a little worried about my order going in correct since she could hardly understand us.
you would think there would only be one type of waiter, the kind that does whatever they can to get the best tip. there are three types of waiters the rookie, the slacker, and the veteran . no matter what one you get, you're going to get your meal; the question is will the time in the restaurant meet your standards. the type of waiter you get plays a huge roll in your dining experience, and can really make or break your time out.
“You look so beautiful shorty.” He whispers in my ear as he sent a shiver down my back. Shorty? Hmm, I think I’m starting to really like the nickname he calls me. Eli leans down kissing my forehead, I rest my head on his chest as we rock back and forth to one of the old songs back in the days. I look to my side to see the grown up and young adults looking lost in their world dancing with the person they care about. I glance back up to Eli as he gives a little pat on my ass, which I lightly hit he's
Eddie had already taken a seat when I approached the counter, absentmindedly fixing my hair into a bun on the top of my head as I waited for the barista to take my order. He sighs, dusts off his apron with his hands and turns to me with a blank expression. “What can-” his eyes widen and mouth curls into a sheepish grin. “Uh, what can I get for you?” It sounded more like he was asking himself a question than asking me what I needed, his hands combing through his dark, messy hair as he waited for my response. The corners of my own lips turn up as a turn my stare to the menu, scanning it carefully.

The four waiters spread out silently. Before the weary travelers knew it, the first course of the tantalizing feast materialized before them.
Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland’s formidable first minister is helping Scotland stay apart of the European Union, even though the Scots have voted against being in independence.
"No, you deserve only the best and I heard that their food is fantastic," Zack said, smiling. He hopped out of the car and jogged to your side of the car, in time to open the door before you had a chance. You blushed and got out of the car. He took your hand and guided you to the entrance, where the host was standing. As you approached him, you noticed that he gave you a rude look and stuck his nose up in the air.
“Oh yeah about that, thanks for helping me and everything but I thought about it and I think I want all of this to be mine and only mine, and I would keep you alive but I don’t want any suspects!” Juan said laughing.
“Hi, sorry, it’s me again. I just, uh, saw you still weren’t in line, so um… I brought you this,” I said, offering the food and drink again. He finally looked at me, but I could tell his eyes were slightly narrow. Was he suspicious of me, then? Was he surprised I’d do it twice? Maybe he wouldn’t take it a second time. Despite the thoughts running through my head, I smiled.
On a Friday evening, I expected the restaurant to be really crowded and we would have to wait for a table. Surprisingly, there wasn’t a wait and we got a table right away. Almost right as we sat down there was a waiter with our chips with salsa and to take our drink orders. The
As I sat alone at my small table for two, I looked at my watch and noted the time of 12:10pm. As I glanced at the menu I slowly began scanning the dining area. As I suspected the lunch crowd was pretty full and I counted 36 customers in the dining area. My waiter arrived at my table and introduced himself. His name was Tony, although I am sure his full name was Anthony. He was average height, slim build, olive complexion, and dark hair. He was very polite and asked if I would like a drink before ordering and after my response he turned and retrieved my beverage. When he returned he asked if I need a few minutes to look over the menu and I responded that I did. Before leaving, he proceeded to tell me the lunch specials for the day and even made a recommendation. I thanked him as he turned and walked away.
It was five in the morning, and the day was opening up for a good time in Oxford, that would also bring a trip to Florida, the birds were tweeting, the sky was blue, and the animals were all awake and ready for the day! I get dressed and ready, and go downstairs for breakfast. When I reach the kitchen, I look in the cupboards for something to eat. Then when i found what I wanted, i ate it. I was extremely happy and I felt that everything was going perfectly.
The Cocktail Waitress written by James P. Spradley and Brenda E. Mann is a 1975 classic. It studies in-depth and examines a familiar female role in contemporary American society. Its authors use fieldwork methods to the study of social behavior in a college bar, as presented in the context of a cocktail waitress. They describe the daily lives of women in details and the meaning of work in a man's world. They provide a wealth of empirical data on the nature of being female in the society.
Three days after, graduation Home walked into Ruby’s Diner, and every eye in the place followed him as he took a seat at the counter, ordered black coffee, and burnt toast. The waitress, Becky Sue, congratulated him on the scholarship and asked him when he would be heading up north to attend college. A hush fell over the Diner when they heard him tell her he had just come from the recruiting office, had enlisted in the Marines, and would be leaving for Parris Island in two days. He tried to explain that god, country, and freedom came first. It was his patriotic duty. Some of the locals could not refrain from sharing what they
