Many people work very hard in their life but they do not seem to be able to achieve something worthwhile (Personal Goal Setting, 2013). Successful people on the other hand, know what they want and create plans to help them achieve these goals. They will establish a step by step plan, and will continue to follow that plan until their goal is achieved. These people tend to be proactive rather than be reactive. Personal planning is really important because it helps you not only to achieve your goals but to tell you how you can achieve them. Without a personal plan, it will be hard to attain any objectives you want to complete. Whether it is a short-term goal or a long-term goal, there must be a strategy on how to reach it. Goal setting is therefore really important in our everyday personal life. However in my case, I have difficulty managing my time for schoolwork and personal finances.
For schoolwork, I always finish my schoolwork in the last minute or study right before quizzes or tests. A reason for this may be due to I never planned a schedule for how and when will I study for a test or for a project. I usually forget about having a test or is just lazy to start studying for it. This is why when I start studying the night before the test or exam, I have a hard time trying to figure what should I study first and what I should study last. Then, a lot of time is wasted on deciding how I should start studying. I usually tend to wait for things such as exams and schoolwork to appear before addressing them.
In order to be better at personal planning and become more successful, a specific strategy must be implemented relating to goal-setting and time management. Studying for exams require a lot of time and hard work to achieve good grades. The first task to do if you want to be successful at school is to set a goal about getting good grades. Without this goal,

My personal belief is to treat everyone equally, with respect and dignity. I always remember that every person is unique and different. I show positive regard to everybody. Mrs X who is one of the residents on my ward is Muslim. I attend to her every day. She likes to pray four times a day, covering her face during the day with a hijab. When I finish giving her personal care in the morning, I make sure I give her the hijab to cover her face and then remove it at night before going to sleep. I make sure no male carers are allowed to enter her room or attend to her. She has a female carer at all times. I make sure that I don’t discriminate against any client or staff. I try to give each staff member and client equal opportunity like the same amount of time. I respect the right of clients and staff, by giving the clients the right to chose what they want to do. What they want to wear. What they want to eat. Mrs X wants to go to bed at 22.00 hours every night One night we were short of carers for the night shift, so I put her to bed early, her son came to visit and complained, and asked me to

What does it mean to grow up? Does it mean washing your car, paying your bills, getting a job? Does it mean getting married, having kids, and sprouting gray hair? Is it necessary? Is everyone capable of it? Is it going to be hard and will it be worth the effort? All of these questions are probably what made Peter Pan decide to never leave Neverland. Growing up means a lot of different things to many different people. If we look at the words “growing up”, we simply think of the physical aspect of ageing, growing tall and wide. But for most people, growing up means something deeper involving a change in the approach that an individual has to life and the actions that are taken with it. In this essay, we will look at why people have
For every change within a society, personal changes with “self” must happen. These social changes are important to people while, people who don’t benefit from it think changes within the self isn’t important for social changes. I always leave everything until the last minute, and sometimes I do unimportant things like playing games, surfing internet and watching movie, but actually I know there a lot of work to finish off. I get to the bottom of this crisis and try to systematize my study and set up my work. I make a schedule of revision, and I put a date where I need to complete the schoolwork. I also make a small target, for example, I want to understand the concept of heat transfer by the end of this week, and I have to achieve it no matter what. I
