In seventh grade my mom started to think that I have Aspergers. I would continually tell her that I don’t and that I was just different from everyone else, until one day she told me that she signed me up for an appointment to get tested. After the test the doctor told my mom and I that it would take about a week or so for the results to get to us. The week passed and my mom got my results she sat me down and told me, “Matt I got the results back, and you have Aspergers but you are barely on the spectrum.” A wave of emotions crashed over me: passionate outrage and anguish.
